The Second Annual Muslim Conference and at Dar Ul Uloom Islamic Institute September 5th 2004 5:30 to 10:30 pm. The event is intended as an introduction and explanation of the Koran and the speakers are 'scholars' from the United States and abroad. A free dinner was announced and those interested in participating can call Dar Ul Uloom .

MIM: The Dar Ul Uloom Institute, will be hosting the second International Muslim Unity Conference on September 5th 2004 from 5: 30 until 10: 30 pm. Dar Ul Uloom is located at 7050 Pines Blvd. The event is open to the public and free of charge and is sponsored by the Bangladesh American Association.

The conference appears to have been publicized literally by word of mouth on the Saut Al Hikmat -Voice of Wisdom, radio program run by Maulana Shafayat Mohamed, the Imam of Dar Ul Uloom and is expected to draw a crowd of over 1,000 people .
The event is intended to explain Islam and introduce the teachings of the Koran to Muslims and non Muslims.
Among the "usual suspects" slated to speak are :
Zulfiqar Ali Shah – CEO of the Universal Heritage Foundation and ex president of the Islamic Circle of North America and former principal of the School for Islamic Studies in Broward .

An analysis for Muslims of the revelation to Prophet Moses, as it exists today, with the underlying message by the speaker to be grateful for the Qur'an and its purity. This analysis consists of comparisons between the Judeo-Christian and Islamic concepts of God, prophethood, and revelation. Stories and descriptions are relayed from the Old Testament to show how these sacred institutions have been corrupted by the hand of man and how many teachings presently in the Old Testament actually go against all human logic and morality.

Yusuf Estes: Former pastor and Texas' Good Ole Boy 'who converted to Islam . Estes produced a CD entitled "Does Islam = Terrorism?" and runs a website where he explains the reasons for his conversion to Islam.

Maulana's claims to want to further interfaith understanding, which begs the question as to why he produced a tape on the Islamist website Meccacentric stating that Allah is the only way and his embrace of notorious anti Jewish and anti Christian South African based Imam Ahmed Deedat head of the IPCI -The International Center for the Propagation of Islam.

Why does the Al Hikmat/ Dar Ul Uloom website shows a picture of Maulana Shufayat Mohammed together with Ahmed Deedat, who admits to having met Osama Bin Laden. "on several occasions". Deedat met Bin Laden together with his son Yusuf, who distributed handbills at the Durban 'anti racism conference' with pictures of Adolph Hitler and the question:"What if he had Won?" and a response indicating that Arabs wouldnt have problems if this had been the case.
The picture at right was taken during Mohammed's visit with Deedat at the Bin Laden Centre in South Africa which was built to house the International Center for Islamic Propagation, which is still funded by the Bin Laden family.
