These 1996 postings by Kamal Nawash the head of The Free Muslims Against Terror prove that he is lying when he (and his 'organisation' claim they accept the existence of Israel and wax philosemitic. Nawash continues to lie about being moderate Muslim while still attending events with his friends from the Wahhabist funded Arab American Anti Discrimination Committee who were just promised a new building by Saudi billionaire Prince Al Saud, who also offered aid to MPAC and CAIR to help in their efforts to 'improve the image of Islam in the United States'. Condoleeza Rice was hoodwinked into including him as the self proclaimed representative of ' 6 million Muslims and 3 Million Arabs' to OSCE conference, at which Israel was blamed for anti semitism and Nawash praised the outreach efforts of MPAC and ADC . Nawash is now being touted as setting his sights on the White House. Your problem is not with Islam. it is with the Palestininas
who are made up of

Christians and Moslems. If the Christian
and Moslem Palestinians are angry it is not because they hate
Jews, it is because Jews stole their land, killed their men and
raped their women.
By defaming Islam and comparing it with Nazisim you are
avoiding the true issue that Palestine was stolen by the Jews.
Palestine includes all the land that is known as Israel today.
Your attempt to confuse the issues is not convincing
and will not work. The Palestininans are definitly not
convinced. They will never forgett about Palestine. Even us
Americans are begining to wake up and see the truth. The only
terrorist in the Middle-East is the state of Israel.
Rather than spread false info., you could come up with solutions such
as the one state solution where both Palestininas and jews can live
together in a secular democratic state.

THEY SAID THEY WILL NOT RETURN ONE INCH OF PALESTINE TO THE PALESTININAS.

IF THE PEACE PROCESS IS BASED ON ARAB WEAKNESS, THEN ISRAEL MUST
ALWAYS REMAIN STRONG AND THE ARABS MUST REMAIN WEAK IF ISREAL IS TO
SURVIVE. WHILE ISRAEL HAS EVERY INTENTION OF DOING SO, THIS WILL NOT
HAPPEN. NO COUNTRY, EMPIRE OR ANY SOVEREIGN ENTITY HAS EVER BEEN ABLE TO

AS TO THE ARAB WORLD, THE ARAB MENTALITY BEGAN TO CHANGE AFTER THE
GULF WAR. IT WAS SOME WHAT OF A RENISSANCE. TODAY, MOST ARAB
COUNTRIES ARE DEVELOPING ECONOMICALLY AND INDUSTRILTY AT A VERY FAST
RATE. EXAMPLES, TUNISIA'S ECONOMY IS THE FASTEST GROWING IN ALL THE
REGION. EGYPT IS THE SECOND. IN FACT EGYPT IS DOING SO WELL THAT BOTH
MERCEDEZ AND BMW ARE PLANING ON BUILDING FACTORIES IN THAT COUNTRY. SAUDI
ARABIA HAS MADE PHENOMINAL PROGRESS SINCE THE GULF WAR. IT IS BUILDING A
NEW FACTORY ALMOST EVERY MONTH. SINCE 1995 THEY HAVE CREATED 263,000
JOBS. THE ABOVE THREE COUNTRIES ARE JUST EXAMPLES. MOST OTHER ARAB
COUNTRIES ARE DEVELOPING AT A FAST RATE. EVEN IRAQ HAS MADE INCREDIBLE
IMPROVEMENTS DESPITE THE SANCTIONS. IRAQ IS NOW PRODUCING MOST OF ITS OWN
CONSUMER GOODS. FURTHER, SINCE 1995, THEY BEGAN PRODUCING ALL THE SPARE
PARTS FOR THIR CIVIL AND MILITARY AVIATION. ISRAEL CAN'T EVEN DO THIS.
BASED ON THE ABOVE REASONING, IT WOULD BE IN ISRAEL'S BEST INTERST TO NO
LONGER HOLD ON TO THE IDEA OF AN EXCLUSIVE JEWISH STATE. THE ONLY
SOLUTION IS THAT PALESTINE/ISRAEL BE SHARED AS A SECULAR DEMOCRATIC STATE.
ISAEL SHOULD DO THIS WHILE IT IS STILL STRONG. ONE DAY IT WILL NOT BE
SO STRONG, AND ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN THEN. BECAUSE THE
PALESTININAS WILL NOT-WILL NOT-WILL NOT-FORGETTE ABOUT PALESTINE.

Great idea. I agree we must have a final solution. However, I
think a better soluion would be for both the Palestininas and
Israelis to live together in a democratic secular state.
I think this is the only soluton that will work. The two
state solution will only delay war for another day and another
time. I don't think the Plaestininas will ever forgive the
Jews for steeling their homes, Killing their men and raping their
women.
At the least If original Palestine is shared, the Palestininas
will have the theoratical posibility of living anywhere from
Jerusalem to Telavive. This plan is the best plan outside
of returning Israel to its true owners which is the Palestininas.

MIM: Nawash's command of the english language appears to have improved little in the years since his web missives. A reading of his work on the FMAT website makes one wonder how he ever received his law degree and if he now employs a 'ghost writer' .

Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch reported the response that researcher Erich van Abele received after he Nawash an analysis of FMAT's statements on Jihad and asked him to clarify FMAT's stance against terrorism.

"...Abele noted that while FMAT statements "say they reject the violent interpretation of ‘jihad,' they seem to leave wiggle room open for it with the following comment: ‘The Coalition feels that the concept of jihad should be reinterpreted for a modern day context in which holy war is obsolete. This comment implies that a violent type of jihad would need to be waged if there were a clear and present threat to Islam…"

Kamal Nawash responsed with an abusive and insulting email: "Dear Erich, Paranoid schtsophrinia [sic] is a treatable disease now. Please see some one about your problems. There is nothing wrong with admitting that you are nuts. 21st century medicine has cures for just about anything. This is our official response. I hope you keep your word and have it published. MIM: Nawash's dissembling also extends to his story about the founding of Free Muslims Against Terror. According to one article he founded the group in 2003 after a revelation he had during the Hajj (the pilgrimage to Mecca) In a recent article he said he founded the FMAT directly in response to 9/11 which would mean that he was still working for the terrorist supporting ADC and as a lawyer for terrorist Abdulrahman Alamoudi, whom Nawash called a 'Muslim moderate and patriotic American' . It certainly takes one to know one. Nawash's 'moderate Muslim' client Alamoudi was subsequently jailed for 23 years on terrorism charges.

It is also worth noting that Nawash constantly refers to himself as a Palestinian from a refugee camp and sometimes embellishes this with a story that his family's land was confiscated in the aftermath of the six day war. Given Nawash's history of mendacity, the question arises as to if he can prove his claims. It seems odd that Nawash claims on one hand that his family's property was confiscated and says that he came to the US as a refugee from a refugee camp. Also questionable is the fact that his bio always starts with himself proclaiming his status as a Palestinian refugee, while disingenously asserting that he is favorably inclined towards Jews and the Jewish State. In all likelihood, Nawash's refugee claims are as fraudulent as his claims of moderation.

Nawash, a Palestinian born in Bethlehem, came to the United States as a refugee after his family's land in Jerusalem was confiscated by Israel in the aftermath of the Six Day War. He is uncompromising in his belief that no cause—not even the Palestinian desire for statehood—can ever justify terrorism. In fact, Nawash argues that Muslims have an ethical duty to put an end to violence fueled by religious intolerance. "The ideological battle is bigger than the military battle. Muslims themselves, to defeat terrorism, have to step up to the plate," he said.

According to Nawash, he is the only leader of a Muslim organization who is challenging the extremists, and fanatics, and the media savvy Nawash intends to use technology to communicate his message around the Muslim world. He invites Christians and Jews to be apart of the dialogue.

Nawash does not believe that Islam is intrinsically anti-Semitic. Muslim theologians interpret the Koran in ways that advance their religious and worldly agendas, he said. A verse in the Koran which reads, "Anyone who calls himself a Jew can go to heaven" is interpreted by Osama Bin- Laden as a warning: "Do not take Jews as friends." For this reason, Nawash opposes the blending of religion and government.

Nawash founded the Free Muslim Coalition after witnessing the horrific events of September 11th and coming to the realization that Muslims were responsible. He felt that Muslims had not issued a strong condemnation of terrorism. "I always recognized that we have not done enough," he said.
