MIM: Maulana Shafayat Mohamed, Imam of Dar Ul Uloom Islamic Institute in Pembroke Pines, is hosting what is billed as an 'Extraordinary Conference' 'America and those who believe in God ' with public defender Howard Finkelstein and ex Mayor Sal Oliveri.

Maulana Shafayat Mohamed has also played host to an alarming array of now jailed and fugitive terrorists. Dirty bomber wannabe Jose Padilla started his path to Islam at Mohamed's Dar Ul Uloom Islamic Institute , and in 2003 congregants Imran Mandhi and Moessa Shueyb Jokhan were jailed for plotting to blow up FPL power plants, a national guard armory, and Jewish businesses. Al Qaeda trained Adnan Shukrijumah, who law officials dubbed' Mohamed Atta's sucessor' ,led prayers at Dar Ul Uloom before becoming the subject of an ongoing worldwide manhunt to thwart his dirty bomber aspirations. At least one of the 9/11 hijackers reportedly worshipped at Dar Ul Uloom as well.

Maulana Shafayat Mohamed has cynically exploited 'interfaith' to further his Da'wa, (Islamic propagation),activities . The picture of himself shaking hands with Ahmed Deedat -the head of the IPCI -Islamic Propagation Center International in South Africa which is funded by Osama Bin Laden, is displayed prominently on his website , and begs the question: Why would someone who preaches tolerance be proud of his meeting with a Bin Laden funded lackey who is famous for trashing Christianity as a 'false religion' and hosted an 'Extraordinary Symposium entitled : "Is Israel Ready for Destruction?"

After 9/11 Deedat and his son Yusuf boasted about having met Bin Laden 'several times' and cheerfully admitted that it was the terrorist himself who was the 'benefactor' behind their own salaries and their Islamic propagation enterprise.

3) Another terror tied friend of Maulana Shafayat Mohamed is Ahmed Deedat, whose International Center for Islamic Propagation is funded directly by Osama Bin Laden and family. After 9/11 Deedat boasted of having met Osama Bin Laden several times . Maulana Shafayat Mohamed visited Deedat at the ICPI which is housed in the Bin Laden Centre, and a picture of him shaking hands with Deedat features prominently on his website. Deedat's fame among Muslims is as a scholar who has dedicated his life to proving that Christianity is a false religion.

The UHF is a project of two Al Qaeda linked radical Islamist groups, ICNA, The Islamic Circle of North America, and MAS, The Muslim American Society. In 2004 Mohamed spoke at a fundraiser for the UHF which included Paul Findley,who made a tape together with Ahmed Deedat entitled "Is Israel Ready for Destruction?" Maulana Shafayat Mohamed wrote that the tsunami was a punishment for homosexuality and urged "religious leaders and politicians to take the tsunami as a warning". MIM: Adhan Shukrijumah worshipped at Dar Ul Uloom and his father's mosque Masjid Al Hijrah, which was right next to his home. Maulana Shafayat Mohammed lives a few blocks from the Shukrijumah's house in Miramar. After Adnan became a fugitive one of the first place law enforcement looked was in his father's native country, Trinidad, at a school of Dar Ul Uloom which at which Maulana Shafayat Mohamed (also a Trinidadian native) had also been connected to before coming to South Florida.

MIRAMAR, Fla. -- FBI agents descended on a Miramar home on Thursday searching for 27-year-old Adnan G. El Shukrijumah. Officials suspect him of having terrorist ties and are comparing him to 9/11 mastermind Mohamed Atta

The FBI says he's a Saudi national with up to six aliases and possibly four passports. They say he may have attended flight school.

In 1997, Miramar police arrested him for battery and child abuse.

"Our officer got there, saw signs of a domestic dispute on his father and a 13-year-old sister," said Miramar Police Officer Bill Robertson.

El Shukrijumah was eventually released.

Sources told NBC 6 reporter Patricia Andreu, that he also attended the Darul Uloom mosque in Pembroke Pines and Islamic Movement of Florida mosque in Hollywood.

"There was no indication that he was anti-American or that he was planning to do anything to anyone," said Jusuf Sow, who also attends the Darul Uloom Mosque.

"... A federal judge sentenced a 19-year-old Pakistani immigrant to 140 months in prison Thursday for plotting to blow up electrical power substations and a National Guard armory in south Florida.

Imran Mandhai had pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge William Dimitrouleas to one count of conspiracy to damage and destroy property with fire and explosives.

Co-defendant Shueb Mossa Jokhan, 24, was sentenced Oct. 4 to 58 months for his role in the plot.

"This case shows we will not tire or rest until we weed out and bring to justice those who would harm the United States," U.S. Attorney Marcos Jimenez said.

Mandhai recruited Jokhan and conspired with him to bomb electrical power stations and a National Guard armory as part of a jihad mission in the United States, the indictment said.

The attacks were to be followed by a list of demands on the U.S. government and other governments around the world," it said.

It said Mandhai scouted locations where the bombs would be placed and sought to acquire AK-47 type assault weapons for jihad training and operations.

He also tried to obtain the release from custody of an unidentified individual described as a mujahedin fighter committed to jihad..."

MIM: Dar Ul Uloom congregant Hakki Aksoy is now serving a 10 year prison sentence after bomb making materials were found in his home.

Not surprisingly, his congregation is from all over the world and includes, as Mohamed puts it, "only a handful of Arabs... a handful who are intelligent and educated and... left the craziness over there."

But the bloody conflicts and polemical politics of the Middle East infect all of Islam, including Mohamed's own Darul Uloom. The alleged "dirty bomber," Padilla, for instance, is of Puerto Rican descent and grew up in Chicago before converting in Broward County. Mohamed says Padilla attended religious classes for a few months in the mid-1990s. He says Padilla was quiet and never spouted radical rhetoric at Darul Uloom. "He wound up amongst the Arabs," Mohamed laments. "And that's where he got his [terrorist] operation."

Another operation, however, started in Mohamed's own institute. Imran Mandhai, an immigrant from Pakistan, and Shueyb Mossa Jokhan, from Mohamed's homeland of Trinidad, were indicted on May 17 for allegedly conspiring on numerous terrorist bombings. In hindsight, Mohamed says that Mandhai also seemed to be an "extremist in practice." The teen once called a visiting imam an "infidel" and openly criticized Mohamed's liberal style. "But I had no reason to think that they were [aspiring terrorists]," the maulana insists. "They are just coming in here and praying, and they could have planned to shoot me for all I knew. Nobody knew what their agenda is."

According to the FBI, Mandhai's agenda was death and destruction in Broward County. The plot, according to federal prosecutors, began in 2000 when 19-year-old Mandhai befriended a Turk named Hakki Aksoy at Darul Uloom. Aksoy told Mandhai that he had been a warrior for Islam in Turkey, had killed two people, and was "very much willing to... engage in Jihad," according to court records.

The pair visited gun ranges and studied explosives. Then in November 2000, federal agents arrested the 36-year-old Aksoy, who was charged with possessing fraudulent immigration papers and a 9-millimeter pistol. Also found in Aksoy's Hollywood home were bomb-making manuals. Aksoy was convicted in February and is serving a ten-year prison sentence.

Mandhai also plotted destruction with a Hollywood man named Howard Gilbert, whom Mohamed converted in early 2001. "I open my arms to anybody. We converted him like anybody else," Mohamed explains. "I never asked Howard what his agenda was. I thought he was a good guy."

What Mohamed didn't know was that Gilbert was an aspiring federal agent, a cloak-and-dagger type who pretended to be a Muslim only so he could infiltrate the Islamic world, uncover militants, and report them to the FBI. Gilbert tricked Mandhai into believing that he was in contact with bin Laden, or "Big Brother," as Gilbert called him. Mandhai, federal prosecutors contend, jumped at the chance to join forces with Gilbert and brought his friend, Jokhan, into the plot as well.

Mohamed says he saw some subtle signs of extremism from Gilbert, who took the Muslim name Saif Allah, or "Sword of Allah": "Gilbert gave a talk here once, and I thought it was a little extreme -- it seemed a little emotional. I think he said something like, '[Americans] hate us Muslims."

Much have been said and much more will be said and done for the victims of the recent Tsunami disaster in South Asia.

My support and prayers go out for all those victims affected by the Tsunami. I appeal to the world to continue to support and assist the victims of the Tsunami.

I have been pondering over the reasons for the recent Tsunami, ever since the incident took place on December 27th 2004. A time when thousands would have been enjoying themselves during the holidays in the " GAY PARADISE " or the no.1 in the world for SEX TOURISM.

There may be many reasons for the Tsunami, but it is only God alone knows the real reason for the disaster. However, after days of pondering, I was able to find a major similarity with the Tsunami and Sodom & Gomorrah..

In a research done by Peter Cordingley and Alison Dakota Gee, published in the Asiaweek Magazine, it is stated that,

"Southeast Asia is now the No. 1 world destination for tourists looking for sex".

"In Sri Lanka, the child sex business often makes use of children from orphanages along a stretch of coast from Negombo, north of the capital, Colombo, down to the southern coastline. Children from the orphanages, some of them run by Westerners, are taken to hotels to service foreign customers. The beaches are open pick-up spots. Tourists and prostitutes -- mostly boys -- can be seen engaged in horseplay, and more, in the shallow water".

In another research by Peter Tatchell it stated that,

"In Thailand, the distinction between heterosexuality and homosexuality is more blurred and tenuous than in the West. Our culture is very gentle. Thai men are much less macho. A lot of them are open to homosexual experiences and these are fairly well tolerated by our society."

"Bangkok has a huge and thriving gay scene consisting of five discos, seven saunas, ten restaurants and more than forty bars."

"Most of this gay scene revolves around bar boy prostitution which caters for rich Thais and foreign tourists from the West and Asian in countries such as Japan, South Korea and Malaysia," says John. "Indeed, in all of Bangkok, there's only one gay bar which doesn't have men for hire, the Telephone Bar. Even there, a fair proportion of the Thai gays are freelance 'money boys.' The same freelance system also operates at discos such as Harrie's Bar and the Rome Club."

"At the "sex for sale" bars, there are 20-60 bar boys. Dressed in G-strings, they take it in turns to dance on an elevated podium; each with a number for easy identification by interested customers."

In conclusion, the Holy Qur'aan says in Chapter 7 Verses 80 - 84,

" We also (sent) Lut: he said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you?
81 "For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds."
82 And his people gave no answer but this: they said "drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!"
83 But We saved him and his family except his wife: she was of those who lagged behind.
84 And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone): then see what was the end of those who indulged in sin and crime!

According to the Holy Bible:

Homosexuality is also referred to as the sin of sodomy. This reference comes from an account in the Bible of two exceedingly wicked cities, Sodom and Gomorrah, which the Lord destroyed. Sodom was known for its rampant homosexuality and unrestrained sexual lust, as well as other sins such as arrogance, haughtiness, and disregard for the poor. When the Lord sent angels to warn Lot who lived in the city that it was about to be destroyed, the men of the city actually wanted to rape the angels! Genesis 13:13: "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly."

According to the Torah: Male homosexuality is explicitly forbidden in Lev. 18:22. The sources that forbid sexual intimacy between women are Talmud Yevamos 76a and the Midrashim on Lev. 18:3 (which forbids "the deeds of Egypt"); these sources say that in Egypt, men married men and women married women.

Based on the references from the scriptures, I call on religious leaders and politicians, who believe in God, to take this Tsunami as a WARNING. If religious leaders and politicians do not do their job to enjoin good and forbid evil, it is my strong belief that God may just begin to destroy nations as He did with Sodom and Gomorrah, as He did with Pharoah and as He did with the people of Noah. ( God's peace and blessings be upon the prophets).

Last but not least, I urge Civil Rights organizations in the world to stop politicking around for media coverage, and to start doing something substantial for the innocent boys and girls that are sold for SEX TRADE in South Asia.

Yousuf Deedat, the son of fiery Muslim scholar Ahmed Deedat, said he distributed the handbills to encourage debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The handbill, which infuriated Jewish delegates, features a picture of Hitler and poses the question: "What if I had won?" The answer below reads: "There would be no Israel and no Palestinian's blood shed. The rest is your guess." The wealthy Deedat family admitted being "good friends" with billionaire Bin Laden after the bombings of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania three years ago. Ahmed Deedat admitted that the Bin Laden family had contributed "generously" to the coffers of his organisation, the Islamic Propagation Centre (IPCI). A report at the time said that Yousuf Deedat, 45, in his capacity as secretary-general of the IPCI, was paid a monthly salary of R900 000 by the Saudi family to propagate Islam in South Africa. Over the years, about $3-million (R25-million) has been channelled into the centre's bank accounts by the Bin Laden family. Bin Laden is the FBI's most-wanted terrorist with a $5-million (R42-million) price on his head. The US State Department called the wealthy terrorist "one of the most significant sponsors of Islamic extremist activities in the world today". He has also been linked to the 1993 World Trade Centre blast and the bombing of a US naval ship in Yemen last year. He is believed to be living in Afghanistan where he enjoys the protection of the Taliban regime. Yousuf Deedat is unrepentant about the handbills . "I encourage open debate. That is the beauty of democracy ," he said. Referring to this week's walkout by the US and Israel, he said people should not be "dogmatic and walk away from discussion like cowards". "With regard to the picture of Hitler, whether it makes sense or not, I want people to think, thus stimulating the mind to debate issues ." He said he did not hate Jews but rather the "injustices done to others, like my brothers and sisters in Palestine". Deedat, who spends hundreds of thousands of rands a month promoting his father's books, said the Bin Ladens had sponsored his family over the years. He admitted being paid a salary by the Bin Laden family but refused to confirm whether he had received close to R1-million a month from them during his tenure at the IPCI. Yehuda Kay, of the SA Jewish Board of Deputies, lambasted Deedat's "concerted campaign" against the Jewish people. "It is the most vile, disgusting and racist material that has been seen since the Nazi propaganda period. It just stirs up racial and religious tension," said Kay. Israeli Peleg Reshef, the chairman of the Union of Jewish Students, said the attack epitomised what the Israeli delegation had seen and been subjected to during their stay in the country. American Stacy Burdett, of the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish lobby group, said the handbill implied that the only way to maintain Palestinian rights would be to exterminate Jewish people.
