AEI Fellow Hirsi Ali Attacks Geert Wilders

May 20, 2012

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the former Dutch parliamentarian and self proclaimed ex Muslim, Islamist and anti semite has attacked Geert Wilders ,the head of the Freedom Party ,in a recent interview on Dutch television.

Ali fled Holland (where she fraudulently claimed asylum) for the United States after the murder of Theo Van Gogh the Dutch filmmaker. She was given a position as visiting fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Van Gogh paid with his life for the making of a film about the abuse of women in Islam of which Ali claims authorship. http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/1932

Ali has once again damaged the anti jihad movement by attacking Geert Wilders, the head of the Freedom Party and in doing so has provided ammunition to his enemies by undermining his efforts to combat the Islamisation of Holland.

Wilders was threatened by Mohamed Bouyeri, the same Moroccan Muslim who butchered Van Gogh and continues to live in Holland where he needs 24/7 security. Unlike Ali, Wilders has stood his ground and continues to sound the alarm against the Islamist threat to his country. In order to implement anti Islamisation measures he formed his own political party which campaigns among other things for limited immigration from Muslim countries and stricter law enforcement against Muslim thugs who are terrorizing the native Dutch.

According to an article in Elsevier magazine Hirsi Ali stated in a television program that: "Geert Wilders offers no solutions". In January she proclaimed that "Wilders should differentiate between extremist and moderate Muslims". [And] he should not see all Muslims as opponents." In 2010 she called Wilders a "populist who did not come with any proposals which could be implemented" http://www.elsevier.nl/web/Nieuws/Politiek/338529/Ayaan-Hirsi-Ali-Geert-Wilders-biedt-geen-oplossingen.htm

Her incendiary statements are doubly disturbing in light of the recent trip by the courageous politican to the United States to promote his new book entitled "Marked for Death: Islam's War Against The West And Me".

Ali's attack on Wilders is just another example of her continued denial of reality. To say that he should make a distinction between extremist and moderate Muslims is an insult to Wilders and makes a mockery of his current situation.

Ali once stated to a Jewish audience that "Western societies need not fear Islam," "The West is more powerful that the fanatics." [sic] http://www.ajc.org/site/apps/nl/content2.asp?c=ijITI2PHKoG&b=849241&ct=4527137

In a Jerusalem Post interview with Manfred Gerstenfeld she labeled "ultra" orthodox Jews as fundamentalist fanatics while showing her profound ignorance about Judaism and Israel stating that :

,"…the country also has a problem with fundamentalists," she says. "The ultra-Orthodox will cause a demographic problem because these fanatics have more children than the secular and the regular Orthodox." http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/2206

As for solving the problem of radical Islam, it's a 'slam dunk' according to Ali- just ditch the Koran and Islam.

"When asked if she was optimistic about the prospect of reforming the islamic majority countries' Ali replied;
"Yes, if we remove the sacred stamp from the Koran, if we review the prophet Muhammed's role and if we change the sexual morals, then yes, we could do it very easily" http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/2207

Ali's views of Islam and fundamentalism are further proof that she is intellectually bankrupt and has no basis upon which to attack Geert Wilders opinion of Islam and his accessment the Islamist threat.

For Wilders as anyone else the touted existence of "moderate Muslims" is irrelevant in the context of the current civilizational and physical jihad which is being waged against him and the West.
