MIM: Mohamed Zuhdi Jasser travelled to Saudi Arabia in 2013 as part of a delegation of the U.S. Commission On International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and arrived a day early to make a pilgrimage to Mecca,where entry is prohibited to all non Muslims. Needless to say he returned to the U.S. unscathed.

His pilgrimage to all Muslim Mecca refutes his claims (beginning in 2006) that he and his family have been the recipients of death threats from other Muslims and groups such as Al Qaeda and ISIS which he uses to enchance his image among gullible non Muslims as 'a brave Muslim reformer' . It should also be noted that he and his family are active in and attend the Islamic Center Of The Northeast Valley whose Imam Anas Hlayhel, was the head of the local CAIR chapter .

In a recent article touting Jasser as a 'Muslim Messiah' the author wrote:

"As a practicing Muslim, a knowledgeable and brave voice against extremist Islam, and a stalwart friend of Israel, he brings extraordinary and unprecedented qualifications."

MIM: The claim that Jasser is a 'stalwart friend of Israel' is belied by the Mission Statement of his oxymoronically named 'American Islamic Forum For Domocracy'.

MIM: Before Jasser altered his American Islamic Forum Democracy (AIFD) website he said the quiet part out loud and openly declared that da'wa i.e. proselytizing to non Muslims with the aim of conversion to Islam was a part of AIFD's mission:

"We will work to promote and enhance the understanding of Islam in America."

AIFD advocates the establishment of a Palestinian State on what they refer to as the "occupied territories" "behind internationally recognized borders" .This devious statement is intended to mollify AIFD's mostly Jewish donors since there has never been an "existing unqualified recognition of the State of Israel" and for many in the international community regard Israel as an 'illegimate 'Zionist' entity'and by extension reject the right of Israel to exist within any borders and regard all of Israel as being "occupied territory" implying it must be eradicated to make way for a 'Palestinian' state.

While as Muslims and American citizens we will take stands on many of the diverse foreign policy positions of our government, we feel it is necessary to make a foundational position statement regarding the state of Israel. We stand in support of the existing unqualified recognition of the state of Israel behind internationally recognized borders.
We also separately stand in recognition of the need for the completion of the formation of an independent Palestinian state on the current "occupied territories" living side by side next to the established state of Israel.

Last night (9/2/12) I was sent (unsolicited) the video link to a conference held 3-months ago at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), entitled, "Rescuing Human Rights." During his talk, one of the featured speakers, Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser, much ballyhooed as a "brave Muslim reformer," opined (at 11:00 to 11:25) that Hamas's openly declared annihilationist jihad against Israel was merely

…a tool for Hamas [and Hamas alone] to create a faith-based conflict…Us versus. them…Collectivist thinking which exploits human rights to oppress its own [ i.e., Palestinian Arab Muslim] people

Despite having been subjected to Jasser's personalized immoral equivalences (he claimed in 2007 my extensive analyses of Islamic Antisemitism effectively made me the moral equivalent of "exploiters" of his noble faith—such as Osama bin Laden!), even I found his UCSD statement shocking. Jasser blithely ignores that Hamas was elected by a landslide vote in Gaza during 2006, and due to its prevailing popularity, would likely dominate any proposed Hamas-Fatah "reconciliation government" for all the Palestinian Muslim enclaves in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria.

The mendacity of these claims are easily refuted.

If Mohamed Zuhdi Jasser has been the target of documented death threats since 2006 why did he feel comfortable traveling to Mecca in 2013 when he was an internationally known and recognizable figure?

Another question comes to mind.

Jasser's entire 'Reform Movement' is predicted on the claim that he and his reformer cronies are all about 'Human Rights,secular governance and against 'intolerance'.

If he really believes this how can he justify his trip to 'Verboten Fur Kafir' Mecca in 2013?

The hypocrisy is summed up by the made for infidel consumption list of the Muslim Reform Movement's aims which is sustained, promoted and funded by many Jews, both individuals and organizations and non Muslims on the Conservative political spectrum.

Not only does the Muslim Reform Movement have no influence in the Muslim community, they give non Muslims a false view of Islam which is aimed at them lowering their guard as to the threat their religion poses worldwide.In effect Mohamed Zuhdi Jasser has invented his own version of Islam which MIM has dubbed 'Reform Zuhdiism".

Non-Muslims cannot enter or pass through Mecca and portions of Medina, a city in western Saudi Arabia, which are considered sacred.

Muslim Group Leader to NYPD: Thanks for Spying on Us

Meet the right's favorite Islamic activist (who shares a sugar daddy with Rick Santorum).

In early March, members of a Muslim group gathered for a press conference at Manhattan's One Police Plaza to send a clear message to the New York City Police Department about its controversial surveillance program targeting Muslim Americans.

That message was: Thanks for spying on us.

"We are not here to criticize the NYPD," declared Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, founder and president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD), who was joined by House Homeland Security chairman Peter King (R-N.Y.), "but rather to thank them for doing the work that we as Muslims should be doing, which is monitoring extremism, following extremism, and helping counter the ideologies that create radicalization in our communities."

Jasser later said in an interview that he wanted to provide an alternative voice to the criticism of the NYPD coming from Muslim and civil liberties groups. "We just wanted the media reports to finally show balance, that there's diversity, that some Muslims don't have a problem with this." Several news reports described attendance at the event as light.

An Arizona physician and Navy veteran, Jasser has lately become the right's go-to guy when it comes to providing cover for policies or positions that many Muslim Americans contend are discriminatory. When controversy over the so-called Ground Zero mosque erupted, Jasser, a frequent guest on Fox News, accused the builders of trying to "diminish what happened" on September 11, 2001. He has supported statewide bans on Shariah law in American courts and has helped bolster conservative warnings that American Muslims seek to replace the Constitution with a harsh interpretation of Islamic law. "America is at war with theocratic Muslim despots who seek the imposition of Shariah and don't believe in the equality of all before the law, blind to faith," Jasser testified during hearings held by King's committee last year on homegrown terrorism. There he also supported conservative allegations that many American Muslim organizations—and particularly the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)—are Islamists seeking to "advance political Islam in the West." Jasser sometimes refers to other Muslim organizations as "Muslim Brotherhood legacy groups."

Many American Muslim groups, meanwhile, view Jasser as a reliable apologist for Republicans and anti-Muslim figures—one with little grassroots support in the American Muslim community. "He actually plays into the whole narrative that comes from the Islamophobia industry—that it's not the extremists that are the problem, or Al Qaeda that's the problem," says Haris Tarin, director of the Washington, DC, office of the Muslim Public Affairs Council. "Mr. Jasser says that the Muslim American community, its institutions, and establishments are the problem. He might bring up some issues that are valid in terms of reform, but his approach is throwing the whole community under the bus."

That assessment is shared by Jasser's father-in-law, Dr. Ahmad Banna, who is the president of the Cleveland, Ohio chapter of CAIR—one of Jasser's prime targets. "He thinks he's speaking the truth, but he's really attacking everybody," Banna says. Jasser has been especially critical of CAIR for accepting donations from foreign sources.

Some critics of Islam on the right see Jasser as the great hope for Islamic reform. Glenn Beck has called him the "one Muslim that we were all searching for after 9/11." Others say his views are unrepresentative. "Jasser's Islam does not exist," anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller has opined.

Still, his politics have made him one of the few Muslim figures to whom conservatives are willing to extend the benefit of the doubt. Last year, Jasser spent an hour debating anti-Muslim writer Robert Spencer over whether Islam is inherently extremist at a retreat hosted by David Horowitz's Freedom Center, whose websites are regular sources of anti-Muslim invective.

"The more Americans see [Muslims] reforming and countering radical ideas and political Islam, the more they'll see that Islam is not the problem but rather part of the solution," Jasser says.

Founded in 2007, Jasser's group is not a membership organization, but he says that 2,500 people have signed up to receive AIFD's literature. The group's modest operating budget has grown steadily since its creation, reaching $200,000, according to its 2010 tax forms. In 2007, according to the Washington Post, Jasser received a $100,000 donation from Christian conservative financier Foster Friess, who is now bankrolling the super-PAC supporting Rick Santorum's presidential bid. Jasser declined to elaborate on exactly how much Friess had given AIFD, though he said the financier contributed $70,000 to his organization in 2010 for a Muslim youth retreat hosted by the group. (Friess told MSNBC that he was backing Santorumbecause he is "incredibly versed in one of the number one issues of our time—and that is violent Islamic extremism.")

Jasser says he is reluctant to discuss his group's funding sources. "Many people donate anonymously because they get targeted," he said. "I don't want to publicly discuss with you things that are not public." But he confirmed that his organization has received funding from groups often considered to have an anti-Muslim bent.

Jasser told Mother Jones that the AIFD had accepted $5,000 from the Center for Security Policy, which gave Jasser its "defender of the home front" award in 2008, to cover "security" costs for its recent New York event. Headed by Frank Gaffney, a Reagan-era Pentagon official, the center published a report in 2010 warning that American Muslims are seeking to replace the Constitution with a strict interpretation of Islamic law. The "expert" in Islamic religious law cited in the report, an attorney named David Yerushalmi, is responsible for authoring draft anti-Shariah legislation that has served as a blueprint for anti-Shariah laws across the US. Yerushalmi has suggested that "acting in furtherance of Islam" should be a felony.

According to a 2011 report by the Center for American Progress, Jasser's group also received funding from the William Rosenwald Family Fund, which has given millions to organizations CAP describes as Islamophobic.

Jasser said his group has also received a one-time, unsolicited donation of $10,000 from the Clarion Fund, which is associated with Aish HaTorah, a right-wing Israeli group described by Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic as "just about the most fundamentalist movement in Judaism today."

The Clarion Fund has released several films that warn of Muslim conspiracies to reestablish a global caliphate. Jasser is a Clarion board member and in 2008 narrated a documentary bankrolled by the group called The Third Jihad, which darkly warns that Muslim extremists are attempting to "infiltrate and dominate America," a conspiracy implicating most prominent American Muslim organizations. The New York Times reported that the film was shown to thousands of NYPD officers as part of their counterterrorism training, which the police department later apologized for. Jasser says that while he agrees with the message of The Third Jihad, "if I had done the film, I would have obviously spent more time on positive images of Islam and alternatives to political Islam."

But his critics say his brand of advocacy—and stunts like his pro-NYPD press conference—are overall harmful to American Muslims. "We will not allow our whole community to be put under suspicion just because we're Muslim," says Linda Sarsour, executive director of the Arab American Association of New York. "That wouldn't go for any other community—and it should not go for ours."

Death Threats Against a list of Moderate Muslims in the West

An Egyptian group calling itself the 'al-Jama'ah Consultative Council" has disseminated a hit list of moderate Muslims felt by their radical group to be apostates on April 10, 2006. They gave the list three days to disavow their stances or they will be killed. Their threat said the following:

"We will follow them everywhere they go and at anytime; and they can never be far from the swords of truth, and they are closer to us than our shoelaces. They are monitored day and night. We are fully aware of their hiding places, their houses, their children's schools, and the times when their wives are alone at home. We gave our rules to the soldiers of God to execute the rule of God so that their blood can become close to God [to kill them] and burn their houses. And we thank God that many of those infidels and atheists do not exist in the land of Islam, so that they do not defile the Islamic land with their rotten blood. They are in the land of infidelity, the land of idols, pagans, and Cross worshippers: in America, Canada, Switzerland, and Italy. If they existed on a spot in the Islamic land, let us wash the places of their slaughter and beheading seven times to purify the Islamic land of the impurity of their blood. And let us captivate their women and enslave their children loot them. Let us apply the Islamic rule to them; and whoever kills one of them, will get his loot."

This satanic message also names their families and children as targets with a list of their names.

Stephen Schwartz, executive director of the Center for Islamic Pluralism in Washington D.C. has released the following statement:

The Center for Islamic Pluralism vigorously protests the dissemination of death threats against a group of Arab intellectuals living in the West, including one of our founders, Imam Ahmed Subhy Mansour, and the distinguished liberal social critic Saad Eddin Ibrahim. We commit our utmost efforts to protection of those at risk. CIP provides a translation of the list and some relevant notes.

Issuers of such death threats are truly our greatest enemies in the war against militant Islamism. While some may dismiss such threats, we must take them seriously until this so called 'al-Jama'ah Consultative Council is apprehended and brought to justice.

This threat is exemplary of the same old tired method used in the Middle East for over half a century to silence many of the moderates of Islam who work to directly combat fanaticism, extremism, and militancy among our fellow Muslims.

And in effect, by silencing through fear Muslim moderates who preach pluralism, they strengthen other Muslim organizations who refuse to engage the radicals and simply speak of victimization.

Our first priority in the War on Terror should be to harness our resources as quickly as possible in making our lands of freedom and liberty in the West safe havens for all those Muslims who are strong enough to wage the war of words against Islamists.

We cannot overstate the importance of making it painfully clear to this organization in Egypt and every other one across the planet which chooses to threaten and intimidate those who speak out that we will all rush to the defense of those Muslims and freedom fighters who are threatened. Taqqiya, in Islam, is a doctrine of pious fraud or religious dissimulation... whereby Muslims may under certain circumstances openly deceive infidels by feigning friendship or goodwill provided their heart remains true to Islam."

Americans are known for being naive. However, the situation should change when one speaks of noted patriot scholars, terrorism experts and even palestinian-terrorists-turned-head-of-think-tanks, who adamantly pretend to care for America in their interminable fight against Muslim terrorists. Right!

Think tanks are enterprises conceived to devote their attention and capabilities to the study of certain domain. And for that, they need whatever amount of "experts" their funds can pay for. Be it as it may, such organizations, for all their "studies", "investigations", "translations", meetings, etc., etc., need supporters who will help finance the operations. But the crowd that's the most appreciated and needed are an ever thinning group of high-caliber donors that make their bread and butter.

And during time of recession and economic depression, what would happen if those sacrosanct think tanks would lose their donors? It would be a catastrophe. After all, the heads of think tanks are said to have unregulated scale of salary plus all the perks of the job. Therefore, what is necessary to save those think tanks from closing? They must keep innovating and make sure "hope" is a word of choice to stimulate and motivate their donors, and they try the most creative options and are willing and ready to accept even impossible acrobacies. They must find "solutions" and, if need be, create them.

In the case of think tanks devoted to the study of terrorism, the ideal solution is to firmly believe that there exists a difference within the Muslim world between the terrorists and radicals, on one side; and the "rest" of the Muslims, on the other side.

They are desperate to find so-called "moderate" Muslims. After all, don't they look "peaceful"? Thus, they make believe they have found a solution to all their social, political and financial problems.

However the vast majority of these "experts" have never lived or worked in the Muslim world. Some will argue that in their youth they studied a few years at an American institution in the region, or lived in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Indonesia, for a few years, and so on... decades ago.

When in the Muslim Middle East, it's easy to absorb the beautiful, loyal family connection within the Muslim world. Families are tightly intertwined, they are all family, brothers, cousins, nephews... and they all call each other "brother" thus Muslim Brotherhood.

And, what unites them is: their religion, Islam. The laws of the Koran are followed, no questions asked. And, among those laws are sharia, taqqiya, and punishments such as mutilations of members, beheadings, stoning, pedophilia, and so much more. And the example set by their prophet Mohammed, is blindly followed.

It is in this context that we find, here in America, a seemingly innocuous character whose actions and behaviour prove that his unspoken role is to infiltrate the highest echelons of our society. For those of us who are averted observers from the Muslim world, not only from books or from the outside, but from the nucleus of their socio-anthropological system, we recognize that the allegiance that keeps them close-knitted will make them fulfill their role of facilitators.

Zuhdi Jasser and the Jews

Zuhdi Jasser is no "invader" per se, because he was born in Ohio from devout Muslim parents who moved from Syria to America in the seventies.

I met Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser when he was invited to speak in front of an influential group. The expectations were high prior to meeting him, he came with highest recommendations from friends.

In comes Jasser, a handsome, suave man, with impeccable manners and equally impeccably outfitted. It was immediately obvious that this man was not targeting and trying to impress average Joe but this very exclusive milieu in the Upper East Side and the rest of the American elite.

However, I was mostly interested in listening to his speech, in which he mentioned at the very beginning that 9/11 was the result of actions by "foreign agents." Then he spoke of liberties, democracy. And, in the whole speech -which was addressed to a group of New York Jews, he did not mention even once, Israel.

At the Q-A, I asked why was it so difficult to say that 9/11 perpetrators who caused the massacres were Muslim terrorists. To which he said that it was not related to religion. Hmm... So, I asked, "It was not their religion they called when they blew themselves saying Allah hu Aqbar?" No, it was not religion.

The host came to his rescue allowing for a more friendly question about "what can we do to be nicer to Muslims...?"

At the end of Q-A, I managed to ask him two main questions: Why did he not mention Israel in all his talk to this group of Jews? He said: because it has nothing to do with this. I said to him, Israel and Judaism are inseparable.

My second question was: As a devout Muslim, you practice taqqiya, do you not? His answer: "You are asking me if I lie." My answer then was: "No, I am asking you if you practice taqqiya..." He said he does not lie. And practicing taqqiya is not a lie, indeed.

First, let's understand exactly what a "doctrine" is. It comes from the Latin word "doctrina" and it is a codification of beliefs or a body of teachings or instructions, taught principles or positions, as for example in the body of teachings in a branch of knowledge or belief system.

Jasser's position is blatant and he has no qualms in speaking about it anywhere he is invited, as for instance at the Oslo Freedom Forum in 2010 or anywhere else for that matter.

American Islamic Forum for Democracy's (AIFD)

His organization, the American Islamic Forum for Democracy's (AIFD) avowed mission is "to advocate for the preservation of the founding principles of the United States Constitution, liberty and freedom, through the separation of "mosque and state."

It looks as though, for Zuhdi Jasser America's religion is Islam..."separation of mosque and state..." But, we are in a judeo-christian country...

US Navy Lt. Commander Zuhdi Jasser on Rights of Individuals

However, there is another detail of non-negligible importance that will show how deeply ingrained Muslims already are within our system.

Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser is a former Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy, where he served as staff internist in the Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress.

Now, we must wonder why would the United States Navy send Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser to serve as staff internist in the "Office of the Attending Physician of the United States Congress..." instead of deploying him with his valuable skills to one of our different war zone fronts...?

The following is a very telling piece of information, mostly if we read in between the lines... "AIFD's mission is derived from a love for America and a love of our faith of Islam. Dr. Jasser and the board of AIFD believe that Muslims can better practice Islam in an environment that protects the rights of an individual to practice their faith as they choose. The theocratic "Islamic" regimes of the Middle East and some Muslim majority nations use Islam as a way to control Muslim populations, not to glorify God as they portend. The purest practice of Islam is one in which Muslims have complete freedom to accept or reject any of the tenants or laws of the faith no different than we enjoy as Americans in this Constitutional republic."

Let's analyze this together: Mohammed and his board "... believe that Muslims can better practice Islam in an environment that protects the rights of individuals to practice their faith as they choose."

That, however, is not new. In the aftermath of 9/11, I coordinated the visit of some Kuwaiti representatives from the Kuwaiti parliament, including a few women -who had no right to vote at the time- and who complained that they sent their children from our secular homes to study in America, and they go back radicalized.

Indeed, Dr. Mohammed Zuhdi Jasser is right in his assertion and the key notion in his rhetoric is "legal protection" because our country being infected by both viruses of democracy and liberalism, protects everyone equally: whether you are a crazy scientist, a suicidal terrorist, or a Muslim under the wrapping of an inoffensive kind doctor.

Commissioner Jasser "Contempt of Religion"

The Obama administration did not take long and last March 2012, appointed Zuhdi Jasser Commissioner at the US Commission for International Religious Freedom.

As recently as May 16, 2012,Jasser wrote in an article about "contempt of religion," and where he shows his discontent on how the situation is developing in the so-called Arab Spring.

That said, if Jasser is so interested in change, he is wrong if he believes that preaching among us will influence any change within his Muslim brethren. The fight must, as all other fights throughout History, be done from the inside, risking one's life, ready to give sweat, tears and blood for the better good.

What is surprising is that Jasser says it clearly: "I sit before you a proud, devout, American Muslimwhose country is polarized on its perceptions of Muslims and the radicalization that occurs within our communities..."

Fox News Channel Sweetheart, Zuhdi Jasser

Is he a good devout American Muslim? Sure he is and that's why he is the constant guest at Murdoch-Alwaleed's Fox News Channel.·

Alwaleed, issue of the Saudi royal family knows how to do things to show us what we want and expect, and what we believe in, so he has chosen the Muslim voice he can trust, a voice appealing to all naive Americans, speaking of liberty, of our founding fathers and of separation of "mosque and state." But, America is about separation of church and state.

Jasser's Battle for Your Soul

"Battle for the Soul of Islam" is a palliative compilation of his groundless wishful thinking that he proposes to non-Muslim Americans, as his publisher writes: "He offers non-Muslims a definitive comprehension of the difference between Islam and the spiritual cancer known as Islamism, or political Islam, and how violence and extremism run counter to Islam's true teachings."

As if though we were not aware of the reality of the corrupted life of their revered prophet, Mohammed, and the monstrous laws dictated by the Koran.

At another point of his career, Zuhdi Jasser said to Congress: "... that political Islam was based on the idea that the government should be run under Islamic law, which he said violated the American concept of separation of church and state." But, my reader can take a look above, when he spoke at the Oslo Freedom Forum 2010, he specifically mentioned that his organization's goal is directly connected to America's separation of mosque and state (on the youtube segment, is at the 44th second.)

Political Islam IS Islam

To begin with, it all starts with the Religion of Islam and Koran establishes the rules of existence at every single second of Muslim life.
As a matter of fact, Islam is considered by many as a political ideology under the wrapping of a religion.

So, for Jasser to affirm that political Islam is the problem, is a way to manipulate ignorant masses, so that when we see more and more burkas running our streets, we will be at ease.

But, forget not, Jasser has never condemned the atrocities committed in the name of Islam. Or has he?

CONCLUSION

Zuhdi Jasser never accepts responsibility that the attacks were a result of Islam and the Koran teachings. He never says he is sorry for 9/11. He also never condemns severely the acts of 9/11 committed by barbaric Muslim terrorists in the name of Islam. And when he does condemn, it is only to say it is not Islam, that they were not related to the religion of Islam, and that's blatantly delusional, misleading and deceptive.

People like Frank Gaffney, Steven Emerson, Brigitte Gabriel, Glenn Beck, and many others seem to have given into the Jasser charm, but sadly they are wrong. The man knows how to make friends. They would do well to ask him for his support of Israel and the Jewish people and they should ask him to do so by writing about it.

He should also condemn in unmistaken terms the attacks against humanity that explicitly appear in the Koran: Stoning, mutilations, honor killing, beheadings, pedophilia, and more.

His is a very shrewd move. When Zuhdi Jasser pretends to fight against CAIR, and then the Obama administration appoints their "good" Muslim as Commissioner of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, in the end the winner is Islam.

His achievements are serious: He has succeeded to infiltrate the elite. He is the Muslim contributor of choice in Fox News Channel, and that should be a clear signal of his closeness to that great pro Muslim Brotherhood supporter and Murdoch's friend, saudi prince Alwaleed. Jasser is also Commissioner at USCIFR, head of his own Muslim-facilitating organization, American Islamic Forum for Democracy. And he is a US Navy Lieutenant Colonel, and an invited guest speaker at conferences in Islam.

Making indiscriminately Assalam Alekhum to a man who rather wants to make America see how unfair we look at his people, is simply counterproductive.

Those in the know should be asking Zuhdi Jasser when will he start working within the Muslim world to actively promote change and hope, simply because only a revolution could stop terrorism to be exported by Muslims worldwide.

And he should remember that America is a Judeo-Christian country and that his people must adapt to our customs, not the other way around.

His is a very subtle strategy, and it is working, because Zuhdi Jasser, by his own account, is a proud devout Muslim, for whom, Islam is most certainly his number one priority.

Just remember that whenever Jasser wins over CAIR or others, it is Islam who wins.
