No, Cardinal McCarrick, America Does Not "Need Islam*"
July 10, 2015 – San Francisco, CA – PipeLineNews.org – As part of the Islamic Society of North America's [ISNA] continuing da'wa/stealth jihad campaign, its most recent newsletter touted the organization's "Shoulder to Shoulder Initiative," an transparently absurd "faith sharing" effort intended to de-link Islam and its ideology - which is contained in the Shari'a - from Islamic terrorism.
In the PR release ISNA stated:
"So powerful is this initiative that Cardinal Theodore McCarrick (former Archbishop of the Catholic Church of Washington) said, in addressing an interfaith gathering, "America needs Islam." He was stressing the point that a loss of Muslim civil liberties is a loss for all Americans civil liberties."
At this point we note that ISNA was named as an unindicted co-conspirator/joint venturer in the United States' largest and most successful terror financing prosecution in history, U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation
Cardinal McCarrick and dozens of other soft-headed Jewish and Christian religious leaders have signed on to the Should to Shoulder campaign, too stupid to realize they are being taken advantage of, in a so far successful, effort to grant the HAMAS linked group undeserved legitimacy.
Among the "luminaries" who have become signatories to Sharing Arms are the usual suspects in addition to the addled McCarrick:
David Friedman, Bishop Neil L. Irons, Fr. James Massa, Rabbi David Saperstein, etc. [source ISNA's Shoulder to Shoulder initiative ]
*We find it unsurprising that ISNA would claim that McCarrick at some point in the past said that, "America needs Islam," and despite our best efforts, finding the source of the alleged statement has been fruitless.
Regardless, McCarrick has said far worse in fully sourced statements, some of this are so radically out-of-step with the faith that they border on apostasy. For example in a 2005 address at Catholic University, where he addressed then Saudi King Abdullah who was in attendance, Cardinal McCarrick blasphemously prayed as if he were a Muslim convert:
"A few months ago, when I was privileged to pray for you on another occasion in this capital city, I asked Allah, the compassionate and merciful Lord of all the world, to bless you and to help you make your country a bridge across which all nations might…Your thoughtful leadership is a stirring invitation to all of us, especially to the people of the Book, the family of Abraham, who share so much and who are called to be brothers and sisters in God's one human family…Your Majesty's call and that of the Holy Father are in so many ways the same. May Allah, the merciful and compassionate, continue to guide your steps along this noble path. May He guide and protect you, your family and your beloved country and may peace and justice come to all lands and all peoples through your efforts, your vision and your courage… In the name of Allah, the merciful and compassionate God, we pray. Starting almost immediately after the terrorist attacks of September 11, ISNA, CAIR and other scheming Muslim groups have had a grand old time advancing the canard of Islamophobia despite empirical data which proves it doesn't exist.
The resultant "faith sharing" events and programs are really a kind of protection money extortion racket in which delusional members of "infidel" religions pay-in-kind to avoid the charge of bigotry and being socially ostracized.
Having operated in this field for going on 16 years now, we've adopted a different tack from the line that we formerly took, which was direct communication with these groups, attempting to bring them to their senses.
Now, however with both formal Christianity - especially Catholicism, headed by a Pope who is clearly Marxist and heterodox - as well as Reform Judaism seeing their moral authority crumble, we feel these people are reaping what they have sown and who are we to do anything to reverse that process.
