Hamas Prisoners Get VIP Treatment In Israel
March 6 2011- Militant Islam Monitor-Three Israeli MK's who recently visited a prison housing Hamas terrorists near Jerusalem were appalled at the good conditions which the terrorists were enjoying. The MKs were Shaul Mofaz (Kadima), Miri Regev (Likud), and Eitan Cabel of (Labor).
According to Israel National News:
"The Hamas prisoners have "VIP conditions,"Regev told the Hebrew-language daily Maariv. "Their life in jail is really good. Their families visit every two weeks. They have a prison canteen, and Hamas gives each of them 350 shekels to spend each month."
The MK's have called upon the Israeli government to strip the prisoners of some of their privileges and "treat them the way Hamas treats Gilad Shalit.
"If we hit at their soft underbelly, their visits with their families and children, only then might Hamas improve Shalit's conditions," Regev said. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/142702
In addition to receiving state of the art medical care terrorist prisoners are also able to complete their education and earn advanced degrees while in Israeli jails.
