Hillary Clinton Compares Gifford Shooting to 9/11 Attacks

January 10, 2011

January 10 2011- Militant Islam Monitor-Secretary of State Clinton was speaking on a television broadcast in Abu Dhabi .When asked about how the 9/11 attacks had influenced people's views on Muslims she responded by saying :

"We have extremists in our country," "A wonderful and incredibly brave young woman congress member was just shot by extremists in our country.

"We have the same kinds of problems, so rather than standing off of each other we should work to try and prevent the extremists wherever they are from being able to commit violence." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/us-politics/8250809/Hillary-Clinton-compares-Gabrielle-Giffords-shooting-to-911-attacks.html

The remarks of the Secretary of State prove once again that the Obama administration will do anything to avoid equating Islam with terrorism and is bending over backwards to appease the Muslim world .Clinton's remarks are an insult to all those who were killed and lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks.

The Islamic Circle of North America (ISNA) a group linked to terrorism and the Muslim Brotherhood has apparently followed Clinton's lead and exploited the Congresswoman's shooting in an obscene act of obfuscation by labelling it "an act of terrorism".

"ISNA also calls on all concerned individuals to call this horrendous crime what it is -- an act of terrorism -- pure and simple. Many national media outlets concluded that the shooting "is not connected to terrorism."

"These types of statements point to a clear problem in defining terrorist acts in this country. It seems that currently the media does not define terrorism by the nature of the action, but rather, by the identity, ethnicity, or religion of the perpetrator. This is not helpful as we try to put an end to the scourge of terrorism". ISNA Secretary General Safaa Zarzour." http://www.isna.net/events/Special-Announcement/SNA-Prays-for-Victims-of-Arizona-Shooting-and-Calls-for-End-to-Dangerous-Political-Rhetori.aspx
