100,000 Converts to Islam in UK During Past Decade

December 5 2011 –Militant Islam Monitor -According to a study for the charity Faith Matters undertaken by Swansea University the number of Muslim converts in the UK has nearly doubled in the last decade.
A majority of those converting are white women the study said. One attempt to explain the phenomenon came from an Imam who opined that "Women are hard – wired to reflect and think and take things seriously even from a young age". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12075931
The Daily Mail reported that the "average convert is a 27 year old white woman fed up with British consumerism and immorality".
