The video was of Timothy Taylor, who goes by the ‘rap name' "Wise Intelligent," speaking at Saviours Day 2009 about the positive and negative roles of Hip Hop music in the black community. Saviours Day is an annual affair sponsored by the Nation of Islam (NOI), a national black power group headed by Farrakhan. During his speech, Taylor boasted of a time in the past when black youth would attend events featuring Ben-Jochannan and Farrakhan. He stated, "[In] ‘92, the racial pride was back in effect. We had black kids goin' to Dr. Ben-Jochannan lectures. We were spendin' our money to go see Farrakhan speak…" Both Ben-Jochannan and Farrakhan are known for their anti-Jewish rhetoric. Ben-Jochannan is the author of the book We the Black Jews, which is little more than a 300-page vilification of Jews of European ancestry, who Ben-Jochannan refers to as "White Jews." Farrakhan has two decades worth of infamous statements against Jews. As recently as October 2010, he was quoted about Jews, "How could they be the chosen of God and leading the world into filth and indecency?" Zahra Billoo placing a video such as this on her site should not be taken as a surprise. Billoo has a long record of extremist activity. In December 2008, on her blog, she considered starting a website to recruit volunteers to attack the nation of Israel. And in January 2009, Billoo posted on her blog that "one amazing reason to get married" is to "raise fighters" (children) to attack Israel. Two days before Billoo posted the NOI video on her site, she had been a guest on MSNBC's ‘Countdown with Keith Olbermann.' Last month, she appeared on Fox News' ‘O'Reilly Factor.' Americans Against Hate calls on MSNBC and Fox News to discontinue this dangerous trend of putting an extremist from a known terrorist-related group, CAIR, on the airwaves.
