MSM Takes Notice Of Christian Genocide In Iraq

December 17, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - It's not news that the Muslim world, despite claims to the contrary by its apologists, actively suppresses other faiths, however it is a big deal when a member of the MSM has the audacity to recognize and write about it.
That is exactly what happened in the December 15 edition of the LA Times, where Tim Rutten neatly encapsulates the truth, "...the West as a community of nations has long turned a blind eye to the intolerance of the Middle East's Muslim states - an intolerance that has intensified with the spread of Salafism, Islam's brand of militant fundamentalism...The soft bigotry of minimal expectation is in play, an unspoken presumption that Muslim societies simply can't be held to the same standards of humane, rational and decent conduct that govern the affairs of other nations." We have been frequent critics of the MSM's biased news reportage regarding the Middle East and the Muslim world in general with good reason; perhaps Mr. Rutten's bold statement of fact regarding the ceaseless Islamic genocide against "people of the Book" [non-Muslim monotheists, primarily Christians and Jews] will point the way towards more honest reporting from his fellow journos.
