Ft. Hood Killings Part Of The Stealth Jihad

By BEILA RABINOWITZ

November 9, 2009 - MilitantIslamMonitororg - American Muslim organizations are going all out to propagandize that the jihad committed at the Ft. Hood military base by Major Malik Hasan which left 13 soldiers dead and 38 wounded should be viewed as a "criminal act" and not as the jihad attack that it was. Most domestic Islamist organizations issued boilerplate statements condemning what many of them called a "heinous" attack. In several announcements the groups have portrayed Muslims as potential victims of a nonexistent backlash, thus intimating that it is Muslims instead of non-Muslims who are facing a threat of violence. A look at Hasan's background prior to the Ft. Hood massacre is a study in political correctness run amok. It shows the success that American Islamists have had in stifling any criticism of radical Muslims and their ideology turning the table on critics, instilling fear of being labeled anti-Muslim for simply speaking out.

According to reports:

"U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News….Investigators want to know if Hasan maintained contact with a radical mosque leader from Virginia, Anwar al Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen and runs a web site that promotes jihad around the world against the U.S.

In a blog posting early Monday titled "Nidal Hassan Did the Right Thing," Awlaki calls Hasan a "hero" and a "man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people."

According to his site, Awlaki served as an imam in Denver, San Diego and Falls Church, Virginia. The Associated Press reported Sunday that Major Hasan attended the Falls Church mosque when Awlaki was there." http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/fort-hood-shooter-contact-al-qaeda-terrorists-officials/story?id=9030873

During his stint as army psychiatrist, Hasan made many anti-American and anti-war statements including proclaiming it was necessary to "rise up against the U.S. military" and was disciplined for proselytizing Islam to his patients.

Internet postings by a man calling himself Nidal Hassan showed support for suicide bombers He also praised fellow Muslim soldier Hassan Akbar who had lobbed a grenade into a tent of American soldiers at an army camp killing two.

At a medical lecture Hassan gave for fellow doctors he reportedly spoke about Islam and that non believers should be beheaded and have oil poured down their throats.

In an article entitled "Sudden Jihad or "Inordinate Stress" at Ft. Hood? Dr. Daniel Pipes concluded that:

"If the jihad explanation is overwhelmingly more persuasive than the victim one, it's also far more awkward to articulate. .. And so, a prediction: what Ralph Peters calls the army's "unforgivable political correctness" will officially ascribe Hasan's assault to his victimization and will leave jihad unmentioned. And thus will the army blind itself and not prepare for its next jihadi attack." [source, http://www.danielpipes.org/7737/sudden-jihad-inordinate-stress-ft-hood]
