"Hymietown" Jesse Jackson Headlines Banquet For Hamas Linked CAIR

October 16, 2009 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - The "Reverend" Jessie Jackson, a disgraced race baiting hustler will address the 15th annual banquet held by the Council on American Islamic Relations.

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 10/16/09) - On Saturday, October 24, Rev. Jesse Jackson, one of the nation's leading civil rights activists, will speak at the 15th annual banquet of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Arlington, Va. [source, CAIR newsletter]

CAIR, a Saudi funded radical Muslim pressure group, named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the nation's largest successful Hamas funding prosecution [U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation], was recently spotlighted in a scathing expose [see, Muslim Mafia - Congressmen Shaddegg, Myrick, Broun and Franks Slam CAIR] demonstrating the radical Muslim organization's connection to Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group.

"FBI Special agent Laura Burns was going over transcripts from the Philadelphia meeting - the 1993 gathering of Holy Land officials and Hamas sympathizers that the government contends was meant to brainstorm ways to downplay the Foundation's extremist ties - when talk turned to a passage from defendant Shukri Abu Baker. He is quoted on the wiretap transcript talking about how it would be beneficial to have more traditional, secular American organizations to help spread the Islamist message. He and others envisioned an 'alternative' organization "which can benefit from a new atmosphere, one whose Islamic hue is not very conspicuous," he said according to the transcript. Prosecutor Barry Jonas asked Burns whether any groups formed after the Philadelphia gathering fit this mold. Immediately after the Holy Land conviction the FBI ceased off all ties with CAIR.

Of note, CAIR's future top leadership was at the above mentioned Philadelphia meeting, "...testimony has shown that its [CAIR's] founder, Omar Awad, and its current director Nihad Awad, both participated in the meeting." [source, ibid]

From an interview with the Muslim Brotherhood's number two official, Mohammed Habib:

"SM: Who represent you in the United States?
Mohammed Habib: Well, there are there those who represent us, who do that role.
SM: But it's not CAIR, right? The Council on American Islamic Relations? Many people say that they are your front...do they really represent you?
Mohammed Habib: Ehh, this is a sensitive subject, and it's kind of problematic, especially after 9/11...
SM: For them to say that there is a relationship between you two?
Mohammed Habib: Yes. You can say that." [source, ibid]

Jackson's appearance at CAIR's jihad-fest should be of concern given his scandalous record of corporate shake downs, anti-Semitism and abusive distribution of funds from one of his non-profits, used as hush money to cover up an adulterous affair which resulted in the fathering of a child.

"...in January 2001, The ENQUIRER revealed exclusively that Jesse Jackson, then 59, had a long-term extramarital affair with 39-year-old Rainbow Coalition staffer Karin Stanford that resulted in a love child born in May 1999. After the news broke, the civil rights leader publicly confessed to fathering Karin's child. And in February 2001 The ENQUIRER broke the story that Jesse had funneled money to Karin from one of his nonprofit organizations." Jessie "Hymietown" Jackson:

"Rev. Jesse Jackson referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown" in January 1984 during a conversation with a black Washington Post reporter, Milton Coleman. Jackson had assumed the references would not be printed because of his racial bond with Coleman, but several weeks later Coleman permitted the slurs to be included far down in an article by another Post reporter on Jackson's rocky relations with American Jews.
A storm of protest erupted, and Jackson at first denied the remarks, then accused Jews of conspiring to defeat him. The Nation of Islam's radical leader Louis Farrakhan, an aggressive anti-Semite and old Jackson ally, made a difficult situation worse by threatening Coleman in a radio broadcast and issuing a public warning to Jews, made in Jackson's presence: "If you harm this brother [Jackson], it will be the last one you harm." In many ways CAIR and Jackson deserve each other; both are skilled manipulators with a long history of thuggish behavior, dissembling and anti-Semitism. CAIR's record of reprehensible activities and associations of course trumps Jackson's, adding terror friendliness to the litany of damning behaviors.
