Rifqa Bary - Prisoner Of Islam

By WILLIAM MAYER and BEILA RABINOWITZ

September 1, 2009 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - With public awareness of the lessons of 9/11 rapidly fading along with support for U.S. overseas efforts to combat Islamic terrorism, the prospect of sending Ms. Fathima Rifqa Bary - a 17 year old now on the run and fearful of being killed because of her conversion from Islam to Christianity - back to her family and the terror tied Noor mosque seems like the stuff of a bad dream.

Unfortunately for Bary, it's entirely all too real [see, http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=rifqa83109%2Ehtm Rifqa Bary Documents - Father Threatened To Kill Her, Noor Mosque Which Family Attended Has Terrorist Ties]

According to court filings Ms. Bary after being violently confronted by her father Mohammed, upon the revelation that she had left Islam to become a Christian, fled her family in Ohio, traveling 30 hrs by bus to Florida where she is now seeking to establish residency.

Bary's family immigrated from Sri Lanka and after moving to Ohio in 2004, Mohammed Bary, her father, intentionally sought out the Noor mosque/Cultural Center as a place of worship because it taught the strict fundamentalism that he called "Original Islam."

Noor is according to voluminous research intimately tied to Islamic radicalism and is currently under investigation by the FBI due to its relationship with Somali jihadists who are being recruited to serve as suicide bombers/mujahideen in Somalia's ongoing religious carnage.

This controversy offers perhaps the perfectly configured "teachable moment," regarding the dangers presented by a radical interpretation of Islam, demonstrating that Western societies are not immune to the depredation of religious fanatics.

It also shows the harmful effects of the corrosive ideology of multiculturalism, which demands that exogenous cultures, societies and religions not be judged by Western standards, absolving them from our foundational norms and values.

Ohio's Noor Center was founded by Dr. Hany [Hani] Saqr. His name and telephone number appeared in an exhibit in the U.S. landmark terror financing case U.S. vs Holy Land Foundation et al. The evidence [government exhibit 003-0079] consists of the1992 telephone contact book for the Muslim Brotherhood, pictured below.

Saqr, in addition to founding Noor served as its imam and chairman of the mosque's Board of Directors.

During the successful prosecution of the phony Muslim charity, the Holy Land Foundation, a plan of internal subversion devised by the Muslim Brotherhood was also placed into evidence.

The plan consists of a 12 page document, half in Arabic, half in English which outlined, "a Civilizational Jihadist Process" which documents the strategy whereby an Islamic Caliphate is to be established throughout North America.

Understanding this case is vital to understanding how the stealth jihad, the process outlined above in the Muslim Brotherhood plan, functions in a society such as ours, where protestations of Islamophobia from radical Muslims are often sufficient to deflect legitimate investigations.

We believe that Rifqa Bary, now a declared Muslim apostate, has much to fear if she is forcibly returned to her family in Ohio, given her father's devotion to radical Islamic fundamentalism. It is unfortunately, quite possible that Mohammed Bary, Rifqa's father, or someone connected with the Noor Center may well feel religiously bound to kill her upon her return or possibly ship her back to Sri Lanka where, if she refuses to recant her conversion to Christianity, will suffer the same fate. http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=rifqa9.1.09%2Ehtm
