Building on the obscene precedent established by Smith's February 2009 banning of Dutch MP Geert Wilders [see, http://www.pipelinenews.org/2009/Dutch-MP-Arrested-Upon-Entering-UK-Guilty-Of-Hurting-The.html Dutch MP Arrested Upon Entering UK, Guilty Of Hurting The Feelings Of Britain's Jihadists] the Home Secretary has obviously extended her reach outside of the Continent to an American AM band talker who has expressed no desire to even enter the country.
Smith's reasoning for taking the unprecedented action against Mr. Savage displayed the now common-in-Europe mindset of anti-democratic intolerance, rooted in dhimmitude, "This is someone who has fallen into the category of fomenting hatred, of such extreme views and expressing them in such a way that it is actually likely to cause inter-community tension or even violence if that person were allowed into the country." Smith's actions must be seen as an extension of the government's already firmly established pattern of surrendering to the Islamists.
As these authors wrote in a 2008 piece UK Defeated By Muslim Stealth Jihad, Capitulates To Shari'a

Smith's hysterical actions in this matter not only display Downing Street's increasing affinity for totalitarian-like control but are cowardly and destructive to the point of being suicidal.
