Jews, Hindus Call on Muslim Federation to Drop Anti-Semitic Speaker from Conference
Khalid Griggs Glorifies Hitler on Social Media, Believes US is "Owned & Controlled" by Jews
On Saturday, March 19th, the Joe Kaufman Security Initiative (JKSI), the Kashmir Hindu Foundation (KHF), and the Middle East Forum (MEF) are coming together to protest the South Florida Muslim Federation (SoFlo Muslims) for including in its upcoming conference anti-Semite Khalid Griggs as one of its featured speakers.
Griggs is the national Vice President of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a group that has numerous links to South Asian extremism. ICNA has promoted and held events with a front for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the group responsible for the 2008 Mumbai massacres, and for 30-plus years, ICNA has harbored a death squad leader, Ashrafuz Zaman Khan, who allegedly was responsible for the murders of 18 people during the 1971 Bangladesh genocide.
Griggs has used his social media:
JKSI Chairman Joe Kaufman stated, "We call on the Muslim Federation to drop anti-Semite Khalid Griggs from its speaker line-up. He should be condemned for his social media posts, and organizations not wishing to embrace his bigotry should never consider him as a speaker for their events. As well, any local politician showing up or participating at this conference should also be condemned for associating with anti-Semites."
Along with Joe Kaufman and Deepak Ganju, speaking at the demonstration against Griggs and the Muslim Federation will be WFTL radio talk show hostess Joyce Kaufman and Director of Save the West, Dr. Ken Abramowitz.
The Muslim Federation, which is an umbrella group for local Muslim institutions, has a history of involvement with anti-Semitic individuals and groups. The Federation's former Facebook manager, Abdur Rahman al-Ghani, has claimed that Jews are "demonic" and "evil" and are "destroying the world." The Federation also includes, as members, mosques that promote texts which refer to Jews and Christians as "enemies of Islam," call for the death penalty for homosexuals, curse Hindus, and sanction domestic violence against women.
