The Truth About "Palestinian" Authority Texbooks And The Incitement & Jihad & Jew Hatred They Promote

Terrorist 'Martyrs' As Math Problems

Palestinian Authority textbooks and the lessons they teach

How have the Oslo Accords been implemented as far as education for peace is concerned? A research study exposes the truth.

David Bedein, כ"ח בתשרי תשע"ט, 10/7/2018

Decades ago, before Oslo and the Disengagement, verbal mathematics problems in the Arab world were said to include questions about an Arab jet fighter flying at such and such speed at a certain distance from an IAF plane and how long it would take to overtake the Israeli pilot flying at his own speed.

Plus ca change...Several months ago, Arutz Sheva posted an article about Palestinian Authority math textbooks where shaheeds are the subjects of an addition problem. The information was published by COGAT (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories) head Maj.-Gen. Yoav (Poli) Mordechai.

A course entitled "How shall we kill an Israeli" is part of the Gaza child's curriculum.

Dalal Mughrabi, pictured in textbooks as a harmless, beautiful young woman in a Palestinian headscarf, led a terrorist attack and murdered 38 people, including 13 children, on the coastal road of Israel in 1978.

It has been a long battle to achieve recognition for the incitement in young Arab childrens' textbooks. Our first report, in fact, was almost declared classified by the State Department. However, the battle was crowned with success as publication of the truth influenced President Trump in his decision to stop funding UNRWA.

Dr. Arnon Groiss has now completed a four-year research activity examining the attitude to Jews, Israel and peace in the 2017/18 Palestinian Authority schoolbooks for Grades 11 and 12.

Over 364 schoolbooks for grades 1-12 that were published by the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the years 2013-2018 were examined.

The goal of that research project was checking the attitude to the Israeli-Jewish "other" and to the possibility of solving the conflict with that "other" peacefully in the spirit of the peace agreements, known as "the Oslo Accords" that were signed by the two parties in 1993-1995. The project yielded three studies.

1. The first one was issued in September 2017, having covered 201 books of various school subjects.

2. An additional 118 books mostly published in 2017 were examined during 2018 in a separate study.

3. The present study covers 45 books published in 2017-2018 for grades 11 and 12 in the various streams.

Some of these latter books are final editions that have replaced draft editions for grade 12 and contained a few changes for both better and worse.
