Jews For Jihad Revisited: Robert Silverman And The American Jewish Committee's Partnership With Radical Islamists

January 1, 2017

The American Jewish Committee Has a Mental Breakdown - Jews For Jihad Revisited

By Beila Rabinowitz and William Mayer

December 18, 2016 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org – Not to belabor the point but as this news source's now ten year old article, Jews for Jihad? - How the American Jewish Committee Abets Islamism, notes, prominent organizations within the American Jewish community seem to have developed something of a fetish in that they are providing safe harbor for some of the nastiest Islamists in North America.

At the time we wrote:

"What do the American Jewish Committee, and Wahhabists have in common? They are both helping to perpetrate jihad through Da'wa [faith spreading through aggressive conversion] via the ‘Chicago Coalition for Interreligious Learning,' a program launched by the American Jewish Committee which is aimed at ‘creating guidelines for teaching other faith traditions - for Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim educators.'…But instead of promoting "mutual understanding" those running the AJC's misguided "Coalition for Interreligous Learning" program have allied themselves with Islamists who cynically exploit interfaith programs to spread Wahhabism and Saudi hate propaganda." [source, Binyamin Axelrod, PipeLineNews.org, January 19. 2006]

Fast forward to December 2016 where our friends at Militant Islam Monitor state:

"The American Jewish Committee Counter Terrorism Division aka The AJC's Division on Middle East and International Terrorism [DMEIT] operated from 1999 to 2013. It was touted as the being "the only department of its kind within the Jewish organizational world". Now Counterterrorism Watch and the DMEIT have all but dissapeared from the AJC website and a new AJC project appears to have taken its place. The Muslim Jewish Advisory Council under the direction of Robert Silverman who has a perverse proclivity for doing kumbaya with radical Muslims and Muslim Brotherhood organisations such as the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA]. [source, Beila Rabinowits, Jews For Jihad: The AJC Scraps Counter Terrorism Division For Kumbaya & Robert Silverman's Muslim Jewish Advisory Council, Militant Islam Monitor]

Oblivious to the frankly shocking irony of Jews helping Islamists slit their own throats, "last week Silverman travelled to Ft. Pierce Florida and made a donation and speech to Muslims at the mosque frequented by terrorists like the Pulse Nightclub jihadist Omar Mateen, to help rebuild [the mosque] after an arson attack."

The mind reels as AJC touts "Counterterrorism Watch," as being the equivalent of the canary in the jihadist coal mine while in reality it has already with its own hands strangled the little feathered sentinel to death in an Orwellian display of "tolerance."

From AJC's Counterterrorism Watch web presence:

"Counterterrorism Watch, created by AJC's Division on Middle East and International Terrorism (DMEIT), is a web-based resource designed to inform and educate professionals and the general public about international terrorism and efforts to contain it. DMEIT, established in 1999, focuses on gathering, interpreting, and disseminating open source intelligence. It is the only department of its kind within the Jewish organizational world. Watch for our newly designed website coming soon."

Question: Haven't these snow-blind do-gooders already wreaked enough havoc?

Answer…apparently they have barely scratched the surface as the AJC has announced it's partnering with the Islamic Society of North America, an organization that was not only listed as an unidicted co-conspirator in America's largest successful terror prosecution [U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation for Development] but was found in post prosecution court proceedings to be allied with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood created terrorist group HAMAS, for example:

"Federal District Court Judge Jorge Solis in a 2009 post prosecution decision arising out of the Holy Land case, was very clear in this matter, stating: "The government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR, ISNA, NAIT, with NAIT, the Islamic Association for Palestine, and with Hamas," U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis said in the July 1, 2009, ruling.." Below is the announcement of the formation of the Muslim Jewish Advisory Council. It is worth noting that one of the Council's Muslim co-chairs Farooq Kathwari, had a son who died a mujaheed, waging jihad in Afghanistan.

"AJC and ISNA Launch Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council:

November 14, 2016 – New York – The Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council, a new national group of leading Muslim and Jewish Americans, was launched this month at a meeting convened by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).

The Council brings together recognized business, political, and religious leaders in the Jewish and Muslim American communities to jointly advocate on issues of common concern. Stanley Bergman, CEO of Henry Schein, and Farooq Kathwari, President and CEO of Ethan Allen, are the Council's co-chairs, and the initial members are listed below.

At the group's inaugural meeting, the Muslim and Jewish participants met for two hours to get to know one another, discuss the Council's mission, and identify and agree on a domestic policy agenda. Among the Council's initial action items are:

The Council will highlight the contributions of Muslims and Jews to American society, and aim to celebrate their contributions in the best traditions of American democracy…develop a coordinated strategy to address anti-Muslim bigotry and anti-Semitism in the U.S. [and] work to protect and expand the rights of religious minorities in the U.S., as enshrined in the Constitution, so they may practice their faiths in full freedom and security.

"Our two communities share much in common and should find ways, where possible, to work together for the benefit of the entire country," said Stanley Bergman, Co-Chair of the Council.

"The Council aims to provide a model for civic engagement by two communities, vital to American society, that agree to work together on issues of common concern and overlapping interest," said Farooq Kathwari, Co-Chair of the Council.

The initial members of the Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council are myriad and can be found here

Regarding the nature of the Ft. Pierce mosque, as Ms. Rabinowitz and Joe Kaufman observe in FrontPage Magazine:

"The Fort Pierce radical mosque has produced a suicide bomber, an individual who has committed the deadliest mass shooting in US history, and a Taliban supporter who was the Vice President of the mosque. It makes sense then that, following the shooting attack, ICFP would take as a spokesman for the mosque a leader of a group associated with terrorism. That's exactly what the mosque did, when it named Wilfredo Amr Ruiz, a local leader of the Hamas-related CAIR, as the mosque's new spokesman."

Coincident with this partnership made in Hell, the AJC's Muslim Jewish Advisory Council [MJAC] offers up an invidious bit of historical revisionism, claiming that, "'When Jews were persecuted in Europe during the time of the Inquisition centuries ago, they took shelter in Islamic lands. Welcoming those refugees was an act of kindness that will never be forgotten by the Jewish people. Today, AJC is honored to give back in a small, symbolic way,' Silverman told the congregation."

The facts are quite different.

No one is denying the horrific evil of the Inquisition, but it must be noted that the jihad perpetrated by the first of the Islamic dynasties, that of the Umayyads, succeeded in conquering most of North Africe and then in rapid succession Spain during the 8thcentury, a full 700 years before the Inquisition took place. Only a fool would argue [a consortium of which are now engaged in the AJC's mad enterprise] that living under the Muslim yoke for the better part of a millennium was anything other than bloody subjugation.

We will not even attempt to explain why groups such as the AJC engage in such represenible activity with fanatical Islamists, who, absent a Western setting, would be marching in lockstep with the likes of ISIS.

Allow us to be clear on this point, Silverman and his ilk are nothing less than fifth columnists and traitors who are causing great harm to the Jewish community as a result of this perverse gambit. Donors to the AJC would be well advised to withhold their funding and demand that this Islamist Jewish love-fest be scrapped immediately.
