One person was killed and three others wounded in a shooting attack at the Adorayim Junction south of Hevron in Judea.

The fatality has been identified as a 30-year-old man. The other three victims were treated at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics, before being evacuated to hospital.

MDA paramedics say they transferred a 40-year-old woman to Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in serious condition. She was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body, and was placed immediately on a respirator.

The two other casualties were moderately and lightly wounded.

According to initial reports, terrorists opened fire on two Israeli civilian vehicles, striking both and causing one to overturn.

IDF forces responded quickly and are currently pursuing the terrorists who carried out the attack.

he latest attack comes just hours after an attempted stabbing at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in nearby Hevron.

In that incident, a female Arab terrorist was shot dead when she drew a knife and attempted to stab Israeli soldiers guarding the holy site. There were no Israeli casualties in that incident.

Yesterday (Thursday), a 13-year-old Israeli girl was murdered as she slept in her bed in the town of Kiryat Arba, by an Arab terrorist armed with a knife. The terrorist also wounded a member of the town's security team responding to the attack before other security team members shot him dead.

As the funeral of young Hallel-Yaffa Ariel took place, further north in Netanya a second Arab terrorist struck, wounding two civilians at a local market before being shot dead.

Two people have been seriously wounded in a stabbing attack in the coastal Israeli city of Netanya.

Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics who arrived at the scene in Netanya market said they found a 30-year-old woman in serious condition, and a second victim - a man in his 40s - with moderate injuries.

Both victims were given emergency first-aid treatment before being evacuated to Laniado Hospital.

The terrorist was shot dead at the scene, and was later identified as a resident of the nearby Palestinian Authority city of Tulkarem.

The attack is the second such stabbing by Arab terrorists Thursday.

Earlier in the day, a teenage terrorist broke into a home in the Jewish town of Kiryat Arba, next to Hevron, and stabbed to death a 13-year-old girl as she slept in her bed.

Hallel-Yaffa Ariel was buried amid heart-breaking scenes, at roughly the same time as the Netanya attacker struck.

The two attacks mark a spike in Arab terrorist attacks, which had dropped considerably in recent weeks after more than half a year of a relentless wave of terror.

One person was killed and three others wounded in a shooting attack at the Adorayim Junction south of Hevron in Judea.

The fatality has been identified as 40-year-old Michael "Micki" Marc from the nearby town of Otniel, who was traveling in his car with his family when it was targeted.

His wife Chavi was seriously wounded in the attack, and was evacuated to Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body.

Two other family members were also wounded in the attack. Paramedics say in addition to the mother of the family, they treated a 13-year-old girl in moderate-to-serious condition suffering from gunshot wounds to her upper body, and a 15-year-old boy who was lightly wounded, presumably from the crash.

According to initial reports, a "Kia" model car overtook the family as they drove along Route 60 and opened fire, striking both parents and causing the car to overturn.

As many as 20 shots were fired at the car, investigators say.

The victims are a well-known family from the area, who live close to another family from Otniel struck by a deadly terrorist attack during the latest wave of Arab terror.

IDF forces responded quickly and are currently pursuing the terrorists who carried out the attack.

The attack bears a chilling resemblance to the drive-by shooting which targeted another Jewish family in the same area in November last year.

Rabbi Yaakov Litman and his son Netanel were murdered in that attack, as they were traveling with their family. Thhat deadly attack also took place on a Friday, not long before Shabbat.

The latest attack comes just hours after an attempted stabbing at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in nearby Hevron.

Gopstein: 'Revenge isn't in building, it's blood for blood'
Eliran Aharon

Lehava leader Benzi Gopstein is urging the Israeli government to act decisively and quickly in response to recent terrorist attacks, in which Hallel-Yaffa Ariel and Rabbi Michael Mark were murdered.

"We are crying at the funeral in Otniel, but unfortunately, I hear an Israeli cabinet minister who says 'Vengeance is for God, it is not for us to seek revenge.' I want to remind the minister that he is a cabinet minister and that the government has the responsibility to avenge the spilling of Jewish blood," said Gopstein to Arutz Sheva. "Revenge is not through building houses, but means blood for blood."

He added, "We do not build houses to replace Jews who were murdered. We need to build more houses, but this is not the answer. The only solution is to deport anyone who celebrated or who gave out candy [to celebrate the murders]- all partners in this murder. We must say clearly here in Otniel, there is no co-existence and there never will be. We must expel our enemies from here. Only then can we have peace."

The terror continues: Arabs attack funeral

Rachel Kaplan

Even as the funeral procession for Rabbi Michael Mark, terror victim, wound toward Jerusalem, locals would not leave them in peace: Arabs threw a stone from a passing car, striking one of the buses of mourners. Although no one was injured, it is clear that, at least among some, hatred is still rampant.

The attack on those escorting Rabbi Mark's body is the latest in a recent rash of violence, as Ramadan comes to a close. Last Wednesday, an Arab teenager infiltrated the town of Kiryat Arba and stabbed a 13 year-old girl, Hallel-Yaffa Ariel. A security guard was also injured when he grappled with the terrorist, and was stabbed in the face. Although he will recover, doctors were unable to save his eye.

Similar attacks have taken place on the Temple Mount, with Arabs throwing rocks and shooting fireworks at visitors and police alike. When police closed the Mount to non-worshippers, several Muslim youths further upped the ante by throwing stones down into the Western Wall Plaza, injuring a woman in her 70s.

Other thwarted attacks these past weeks include an attempted car ramming, and an attempted stabbing of IDF soldiers. The car attack left two lightly injured; both terrorists were neutralized.

These alarming events have led to a rise in protests accross the nation. Demonstrators gathered at the entrance to Kiryat Arba and on the road to Shechem (Nablus) on Saturday night, bearing signs with the slogan: "A girl was slaughtered in her bed, a father was murdered in front of his children - we will not remain indifferent!"

In response, the Security Cabinet convened, and passed strict measures to halt Arab incitement, including exacting tolls from PA tax monies, and a supposed lock-down of Bani Naim village.

Many claim, though, that these efforts aren't enough.

The Head of Har Hevron Municipality, in his eulogy to Rabbi Michael Mark, declared that "we are tired of being victims, tired of words that support terror...The time has come to deport and expel all supporters of terror," he announced in a call for change.

Shooting victim Chava Mark regains consciousness
Ari Soffer

The seriously wounded victim of Friday's deadly drive-by shooting attack south of Hevron regained consciousness early Sunday afternoon.

Chava Mark was left in critical condition in the shooting, which killed her husband Michael and injured two of their children who were traveling with them in the car at the time.

She has been in a medically-induced coma ever since, as doctors fought first to save her life, and then to stabilize her condition. She underwent a serious of major operations for multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. Her 15-year-old daughter, who also sustained gunshot wounds in the attack, is hospitalized with her in moderate condition.

On Saturday night, doctors announced that Chava's condition had stabilized, but cautioned the full extent of her injuries were not yet known.

Chava awoke from her coma as the funeral procession for her husband makes its way from their hometown Otniel to Jerusalem's Har Hamenuchot cemetery - via the site of the deadly attack which claimed his life.

She is not yet aware of her husband's death.

The attack occurred late Friday afternoon, as the family were making their way down Route 60 in the Hevron Hills region.

The Arab terrorists who carried out the attack overtook them, raking their car with gunfire and causing it to flip, killing Michael and wounding all three passengers. Some 20 bullets were fired at the innocent family in the attack.
