At least 27 people have been killed after terrorists attacked a beach in the Tunisian resort town of Sousse.
Authorities say at least one of the gunmen involved in the attack has been killed and another is currently being pursued by security forces.
The death toll is expected to rise, according to the interior ministry.
The victims are tourists, authorities say. The town is a popular tourist resort both for Tunisians and western travelers.
Tunisia is on high alert following a March attack on the country's national museum by Islamist terrorists which killed 22 people.
Friday's attack comes just hours after a Muslim terrorist decapitated one man and injured several others in an attack on French gas station.
It also came shortly after a suicide bomber struck a Shia mosque in Kuwait, killing at least 10 people.
The Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist group has urged its supporters to carry out attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks in France and Tunisia yet, but in Kuwait the attack has been claimed by an ISIS-affiliated group.
