February 6, 2014 – San Francisco, CA – PipeLineNews.org – The Islamic Society of North America [ISNA] is an organization which has been linked to the terrorist group HAMAS which was created by the Muslim Brotherhood to destroy Israel through Islamic jihad, as stated in its charter.
"...The Islamic Resistance Movement is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood Chapter in Palestine...Israel will be established and will stay established until Islam nullifies it as it nullified what was before it...The Arab countries surrounding Israel are requested to open their borders for the Mujahidin of the Arab and Islamic countries so they can take their role and join their efforts with their Muslim brothers of Palestine..
Article 11: The Islamic Resistance Movement [firmly] believes that the land of Palestine is an Is- lamic Waqf [Trust] upon all Muslim genera- tions till the day of Resurrection. It is not right to give it up nor any part of it. Neither a single Arab state nor all the Arab states, neither a King nor a leader, nor all the kings or leaders, nor any organization-Palestinian or Arab-have such authority because the land of Palestine is an Islamic Trust upon all Muslim generations until the day of Resurrec- tion.
Article 13 ...As far as the ideology of the Islamic Resistance Movement is concerned, giving up any part of Palestine is like giving up part of its religion. The nationalism of the Islamic Resistance Movement is part of its religion, in that it educates its members, and they per- form Jihad to raise the banner of Allah over their nation.
Jihad for the Liberation of Palestine is Obligatory
Article 15: When an enemy occupies some of the Muslim lands, Jihad becomes obligatory for every Muslim. In the struggle against the Jewish occupation of Palestine, the banner of Jihad must be raised. That requires that Isamic education be passed to the masses locally, in the Arab [world] and in the Islamic [world], and that the spirit of Jihad-fighting and joining the ranks-must be broadcast among the Umma (Muslim community)..." Federal District Court Judge Jorge Solis in a 2009 post prosecution decision arising out of the Holy Land case, was very clear in this matter, stating:
"The government has produced ample evidence to establish the associations of CAIR, ISNA, NAIT, with NAIT, the Islamic Association for Palestine, and with Hamas," U.S. District Court Judge Jorge Solis said in the July 1, 2009, ruling.." ISNA is a cynical purveyor of the mythical proposition that the United States is awash in "Islamophobia" and anti-Muslim sentiment despite proof to the contrary, that "hate" crimes committed against Muslims, because of their religious affiliation, is essentially nonexistent according to the annual FBI Uniform Crime Report.
Of course facts have no bearing on ISNA's ongoing stealth jihadist propaganda campaign against America.
Despite the group's deserved reputation as a bad player, it's become instrumental in the process of selecting Muslim chaplains for the U.S. Armed Services. A current entry on ISNA's website gives an account of ISNA's Director of Chaplaincy meeting with members of the Armed Forces in Hawaii.
As journalist Aaron Klein notes:
"…An Islamic group that was named by the Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas and is closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood is the official endorsing agency for the U.S. Armed Forces Muslim chaplain program. Among its many activities, ISNA publishes a slick webzine called Islamic Horizons. In going through its most recently posted issue [January-February] we noted the organization's promotion of Islamic Relief USA [IRUSA]. That ISNA assigned this promo to the inside front cover – the most coveted and generally the most expensive advertising placement – seems to indicate how important IRUSA is to ISNA's overall media strategy.
But a visit to IRUSA's website reveals a few curious items.
The first of these is a detailed, legalese-like statement explaining how that organization works with a foreign "affiliate," Islamic Relief Worldwide [IRW].
"Islamic Relief USA is an independent affiliate of Islamic Relief Worldwide and the Islamic Relief family of charities. We are completely separate legal entities that work together under the Islamic Relief Worldwide umbrella to provide aid…." [source, IRUSA website]
So why this long explication differentiating IRUSA from Islamic Relief Worldwide?
One of the reasons is that in the IRUSA/IRW association, IRW is the dog which wags this tail, "The majority of IRUSA's programs are administered through grants with Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), which is based in the UK. The other might be the less than above-board reputation of IRW.
As the well-respected Gatestone Institute detailed in a July, 2013 article:
"…The large number of links between Islamic Relief Worldwide and extremist terror groups suggests that buried beneath the cover of a charity lies a structured pro-terror group with an anti-Western agenda.
Islamic Relief Worldwide [IRW] is the poster-child of an exemplary Islamic charity. Headquartered in the UK, and given tens of millions of dollars by Western governments, the United Nations and the European Union, IRW consists of a "family of fifteen aid agencies" which "aim to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people." New information, however, indicates that IRW -- which counts Islamic Relief UK and Islamic Relief USA as its most important branches -- is an extremist organization with a pro-terror agenda. IRW has worked with a significant number of organizations linked to terrorism.
IRW's accounts show that it has partnered with a number of organizations linked to terrorism and that some of charity's trustees are personally affiliated with extreme Islamist groups that have connections to terror.
In 2006, the Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs designated IRW itself a terrorist front, and claimed that:
"The IRW provides support and assistance to Hamas's infrastructure. The IRW's activities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip are carried out by social welfare organizations controlled and staffed by Hamas operatives. The intensive activities of these associations are designed to further Hamas's ideology among the Palestinian population." So what we have here is a glimpse into the Islamist shell-game, which could very well lead one to conclude that this shuffling of money is designed to prevent the less-than-intrepid from connecting the dots and thereby revealing the true nature of prominent Islamic organizations which claim to be moderate but are in reality distinctly the opposite, race-baiting, promoting a radical Islamist agenda and aiding jihad.
