Department Of State, No Secret Deal With Iran But Will Release Its Text In A Form And Time Of Its Own Choosing
January 15, 2014
January 14, 2014 – San Francisco, CA – PipeLineNews.org – State Department spokesman, Marie Harf, responding to a story in the LA Times [see, New Iran Agreement Contains Secret Deal, Tehran Official Says ] that there is a secret codicil between, Iran and the U.S., to the recently negotiated P5+1 nuke agreement with Iran, as much as admitted that such an agreement exists.
In an example of the kind of double-talk which has been coming out of this administration since day one, Harf stated, "There is no secret agreement here…[but]…We will make the text available to Congress and the public, but we must work with the parties on when and in what format the information will be released, and we hope to do that very soon soon."How Harf was able to deliver this "up is down," statement with a straight face is merely another example that TeamObama won't tell the truth even when caught in-flagrante.
What this WH is attempting to do, so far successfully, is present an alternative version of reality inconsistent with fact.
There is no need to read between the lines here, of course there is a secret deal with Iran, in all likelihood there are several of them and though their actual content will probably never be publicly available, the take-away from this is that the P5+1 agreement with Iran is really a document of surrender, with the West simply throwing its hand up while welcoming the world's leading funder of terrorism to the nuclear club.
Great work Mr. President, Saul Alinsky is smiling in his grave.
