Atif Moon From Center For Global Understanding -CAIR Awardee- Visits ISNA Office- CFGU Promotes Stealth Jihad Via Internships

October 29, 2013

MIM: The Center For Global Understanding is another arm of the stealth jihad working together with Islamists and Islamists organisations to groom Muslims for 'internships' in DC politicians offices. Both Keith Ellison and Andre Carsons are among their supporters as are other non Muslim politicians.

Atif Moon, Co-Founder of CFGU, Visits ISNA Office in Washington, D.C.

October 25, 2013-Atif Moon, Co-founder of the Center for Global Understanding (CFGU) visited ISNA's Office of Interfaith and Community Alliances in Washington, DC. on October 23, 2013. While in the office he met with Christina Warner, Campaign Director of Shoulder to Shoulder, to learn more about the current activities of the campaign. Moon also met with Dr. Sayyid Syeed, ISNA's National Director for the Office of Interfaith and Community Alliances. They discussed the successes of CFGU, as well as ISNA's current programs and focus.
Atif was named one of 10 Outstanding Young Americans in 2009 (http://www.centerforglobalunderstanding.org/atif_moon1.php), and has achieved many awards and honors for his work and dedication. Moon is a true leader in his generation of American Muslims, evident in his mission for co-founding the Center for Global Understanding. CFGU is a civic, educational organization designed to bring people together by focusing on cultivating the next generation of American leaders through an internship program in Washington, DC. CFGU focuses their efforts on under-represented minority groups in the US, with a particular focus on American Muslims. It is this support for the Muslim community in America that makes ISNA a strong advocate of their cause.

ISNA has been a supporter of CFGU since it's founding, and joins in an effort to spread the word about the program, and attract the best and brightest young Muslim Americans to come intern in Washington. The program has produced numerous leaders since it's inception, and will continue to be among the best opportunities for Muslim Americans to get involved in the countless opportunities Washington has to offer. For more information on the program, or to apply for the summer of 2014, visit http://www.centerforglobalunderstanding.org/. http://www.isna.net/atif-moon-co-founder-of-cfgu-visits-isna-office-in-washington-dc.html

"...CAIR-LA also will present Rancho Palos Verde resident Atif Moon with the 2009 "Excellence in Leadership" award. The 24-year-old was born with neuroblastoma, a cancer of the spinal cord. Despite being paralyzed from waist down, Moon lives a full life. He co-founded the Center for Global Understanding (CFGU), an organization that encourages Muslim American youth to participate in the civic process. He is also a sports enthusiast and will be pursuing a master’s degree in sports management in spring 2010...

MIM: From the CFGU homepage:

"The Center for Global Understanding (CFGU) is a non-profit civic and an educational organization designed to bring people together by focusing on cultivating the next generation of American leaders through our Washington D.C. Internship program.

The Center for Global Understanding has partnered with The Washington Center (TWC) for this initiative..."

MIM: Endorsements by Islamists Keith Ellison and Andre Carsons. Note that 'civic opportunities' and 'civic engagement' are euphemisms for stealth jihad and Islamist infilitration.

Congressman Keith Ellison

"The Center for Global Understanding (CFGU) and the Washington Center (TWC) provide college students with experiences and first-hand knowledge on how our government functions. It is an excellent opportunity for Muslim American students to engage in meaningful civic opportunities whether they are in Public health, Finance, Law or Public Policy. CFGU/TWC are working effectively today to help create this opportunity for young adults to ensure that our future generations possess the skills and leadership qualities to meet the challenges of today as well as tomorrow."

Congressman André Carson

"The Center for Global Understanding (CFGU) program offers a unique opportunity to our nation's Muslim American youth. Here they get a chance to experience first-hand civic engagement on how bills become laws and ways to participate in public policy. What a great chance to have Muslim Americans become part of our nation's political conversation. I encourage you to support this positive and great effort."

MIM: Atif Moon put his civic engagement aka stealth jihad into practice working as a Presidential intern which provides further proof of how deep the Islamist infilitration of the government can go using this tactic. The bio below appears on the webpage of the American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute (AMCLI) which is 'committed to civic engagement' aka stealth jihad and infiltration for Muslims and is partly funded by George Soro's Open Society Foundation.

"The American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute (AMCLI) develops and trains American Muslim leaders who are committed to civic engagement. AMCLI strives to empower these pioneering leaders to realize their full potential, and in doing so, have a more effective and sustained impact on the issues affecting their communities, and America at large. Our nation is stronger when all citizens participate in shaping our democracy.

AMCLI fellows are at the forefront of creating a greater presence of Muslims in the public square..."

"...Atif Moon was born in 1985 with a late stage cancer of the spinal cord and had little chance of survival. Despite three surgeries at the age of one month and four more surgeries, one lasting 14 hours, he moved forward with his life and graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in business economics in 2007 and received his master's degree in sport management in 2011. He has worked for prominent organizations, including Fox Sports, NBC, and the Los Angeles Clippers. In 2006, Atif also had the great honor of working for the President as White House intern. Atif was the first Muslim to receive the Ten Outstanding Young Americans award, presented by the United States Junior Chamber in 2009.

Recently, Atif was chosen as one of 45 contributors to the book "All-American: 45 American Men on Being Muslim," which was published in June 2012. Atif is the co-founder of the Center for Global Understanding (CFGU), a nonprofit educational organization that provides scholarships to under-represented minorities, including Muslim American college students, to participate in civic engagement through internships in Washington, D.C. He is also active in his local Toastmasters Club and hopes to become a public speaker in the future to inspire others.
