Breaking - Why Is The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Meeting With Muslim Brotherhood Representative, The Freedom And Justice Party?

April 18, 2012

April 4, 2012 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - According to the Muslim Brotherhood's English website, "A delegation from the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) began its first official visit to the United States on Monday April 2 for one week. During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with major news media and think tanks in New York City, before heading to Washington DC to attend a one day conference on Islamist movements in power at the Carnegie Endowment for Peace on April 5. The delegation will also participate in other public events at Georgetown University, US Chamber of Commerce as well as meeting with the Egyptian community and US officials." Reached for comment this morning, a spokesman for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce confirmed that there will be a meeting today between it and Egypt's Freedom and Justice Party, a political wing of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, the organization which created the Palestinian terror group Hamas.

The spokesman would give no details regarding the reason for meeting or what agenda items would be discussed. He said the meeting was "private."

In that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is regarded as one of the bedrock [generally conservative] institutional proponents of American enterprise and capitalism, today's meeting with the FJP is simply inexplicable. Perhaps those responsible for arranging this meeting are unaware that the Brotherhood's motto is, "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."

We fail to see how American values are advanced by a meeting between the Chamber and the FJP. Rather, we see a hallowed American institution providing undeserved legitimacy to the Muslim Brotherhood which has spread the ideology of Islamist terror worldwide.

The FJP is in the process of fully Islamizing Egypt, having grabbed power during a very controversial legislative election and now, with the announcement that it will run [contradicting its previous stance] a candidate [Khairat al-Shater] for Egypt's presidency, that process will be markedly hastened.

Al-Shater has been a long-time funder of the Muslim Brotherhood [previous to his announced candidacy he was the MB's Deputy Chairman] and was jailed numerous times under the Mubarak regime, because of his membership in a banned organization.
