April 9, 2012 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Islamists are fond of saying complimentary things about Jesus and other pre-Muslim Biblical figures, successfully calculating the positive effect such declarations will have when dealing with Western audiences.
However as Palestinian Media Watch has demonstrated for years, in Muslim venues, often in Arabic, the full explication of these and similar statements takes on an entirely different meaning.
As Palewatch noted in an April 2 posting, a Palestinian university professor made clear the real meaning behind this manner of Islamist flim-flam in an interview conducted by PA TV.
The money quote being, "...The Muslims of the Children of Israel went out of Egypt under the leadership of Moses, and unfortunately, many researchers deny the Exodus of those oppressed people who were liberated by a great leader, like Moses the Muslim, the believing leader, the great Muslim..."
Such a wholesale revision of Judeo/Christian theology shouldn't come as a surprise to thoughtful observers of such matters, but it might prove rather shocking to members of Jewish and Christian congregations whose leaders are so actively pursuing outreach to Muslims who invariably are Islamists.
