December 19, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - An open letter signed by 32 lefty Congressional Democrats [is that redundant?] as well as Abe Foxman [Director of the Anti-Defamation League] was recently addressed to Robert Niblock, CEO of Lowe's Companies protesting the decision to pull its advertising from a reality/propaganda show appearing on The Learning Channel called, All American Muslim.
The controversial show seems to have been created in an effort to pander to the American Islamist lobby, including Muslim Brotherhood front groups.
This tiny but noisy constituency has been quite vocal since 9/11 accusing - without basis - the United States of being an Islamophobic country, when in reality FBI hate crime statistics consistently prove otherwise, that American Muslims suffer little in the way of religious discrimination.
What really is at stake here is the freedom of speech including the right of American business to choose where it wishes to advertise, rather than being forced into wasting ad dollars in venues pleasing to Congress so that their sacred-cow constituencies might be assuaged.
The truth is that the ratings for this cable show have apparently fallen off a cliff after the first episode which benefitted from a popular lead in program and therefore represents a less than ideal return on investment for advertisers.
According to New York Magazines' Joseph Adalian, "More people may be talking about TLC's All-American Muslim online than actually watching it. Per Nielsen, Sunday's episode of the unscripted series drew just 908,000 viewers at 10 p.m., with 77 other shows airing on cable Sunday night drawing a bigger crowd..." Among prominent critics of Lowe's are the usual suspects, CAIR and ISNA.

Well if there is anything these two organizations understand it's hate and political extremism. Federal prosecutors apparently thought the same when these two bad players were named as unindicted co-conspirators in the largest U.S. prosecution of Hamas funding ever undertaken, U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation. Both groups have been linked by name in federal courts actions to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas,

So we have two extraordinarily tainted organizations, linked by the American justice system to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas assailing a U.S. company over its advertising decisions.
Not surprisingly, Islamists don't seem to practice what they preach.
For example, a November 11, 2007 posting on the CAIR website demanded that advertisers boycott the popular conservative talker Michael Savage's show, "CAIR today called on radio listeners of all faiths to contact companies that advertise on Michael Savage's nationally-syndicated radio program to express their concerns about the host's recent anti-Muslim tirade..." CAIR crowed when Office Max pulled their ads from the Savage program, "It is encouraging that companies nationwide are choosing not to associate with Mr. Savage's hatred and bigotry," said CAIR Communications Coordinator Amina Rubin...Freedom of speech includes the right not to subsidize hate...Rubin thanked OfficeMax for its prompt response to Muslim concerns. So what we have here is the usual double speak [takiyya, religiously sanctioned lying] coming from America's Islamists and their brain dead cohorts on the hard political left. These folks are only conditionally supportive of democracy - when it benefits their goal of destroying traditional American freedoms or establishes totalitarian Islamic theocracies as is now happening in Egypt.
We therefore congratulate Lowe's on its decision to halt its advertising on All American Muslim. This type of action is long overdue.
