Al-Qaeda Terror Suspect Farooque Ahmad Pleads Not Guilty in U.S. District Court

November 11, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Farooque Ahmed, who was arrested on October 27 for conspiring to aid al-Qaeda by gathering intelligence information, including photographs, of DC area public transportation hubs [see, http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=farooque10.27.10%2Ehtm] today pleaded not guilty [see, CNN, http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/11/09/virginia.bomb.plot/index] in a U.S. District Court proceeding.

The suspect is a naturalized American citizen who was born in Pakistan, his trial is scheduled to commence on April 11.
