Jewish Theological Seminary Partners with Anti - Semitic Unindicted Co - Conspirator ISNA
October 7, 2010
October 7- Militant Islam Monitor - On October 25 the Jewish Theological Seminary and the president of Islamic Society of North America a Saudi funded Muslim Brotherhood group and unindicted co- conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding trial, will hold a roundtable discussion entitled "Judaism and Islam Today: Assimiliation and Authenticity". The event is hosted by ISNA and according to ISNA president Ingrid Mattson is supposed to "foster constructive dialogue among Jews and Muslims about their experiences as members of a minority religion in America."
According to the ISNA website:
"Dr. Ingrid Mattson , director of the Macdonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian - Muslim Relations at Hartford seminary will moderate the roundtable discussion , with participants including Sherman Jackson, professor of Islam at the University of Michigan, Arnold M. Eisen, chancellor of the JTS; and Serene Jones, president of Union Theological Seminary…This free event is part of a larger two day conference where interfaith leaders from across the nation will meet to discussion the current situation for Muslims and Jews as well as how they can collaborate to strengthen both communities. Dr. Mattson will co- lead a session highlighting the modern interpretation of the scriptures while ISNA Secretary General Safaa Zarzour will co-lead a session about looking forward, training Imams and Rabbis for American constituencies." http://www.isna.net/articles/News/ISNA-Invites-You-to-Discuss-the-Challenges-and-Strengths-of-Americas-Minority-Religions.aspx
Before becoming ISNA Secretary General Safaa Zarzour was the founding chairman/ president of the Chicago chapter of the Saudi funded Hamas front group the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
"Last week Americans Against Hate (AAH) chairman Joe Kaufman issued a press release saying that ISNA featured a Quran on it's website which "preaches anti-semitism".
Statements from the ISNA Quran include:
• "Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans."
• "O Messenger! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief; (whether it be) among those who say ‘We believe' with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews, men who will listen to any lie… [I]t is not Allah's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment."
• "The Jews call Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them."
• "O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors; They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust."
ISNA's efforts to connect Jewish religious status with that of Islam is a cynical attempt to whitewash jihadist atrocities by implying that Jews and Muslims are having the same problems simply because they are both a minority. ISNA is promoting a radical strain of Islam (Wahhabism) and believes that other religions are inferior.
By participating in this event the Jewish Theological Seminary are behaving as useful idiots and acting as the dupe of radical Islamists.
