Islamist Groups Mount 911 PR Campaign

September 1, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Muslims are cynically exploiting the commemoration of 911 to mount a nation-wide PR campaign called "Muslim Serve Initiative." The program is endorsed by among others CAIR [Council on American Islamic Relations] an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding trial in which the defendants were found guilty on all 108 counts.

According to "A Call to Action" on the ISNA [also an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation prosecution] website Muslims should exploit 911 via public service and "interfaith" [dawa - Islamic proselytizing] activities in order to generate positive news reportage.

"All eyes will be on us this Eid and on 9/11. We can imagine what the headlines will be out of New York and Florida. But can you imagine the power of a headline or TV news story that features American Muslims as citizens, giving back to our country?

During the weekend of 9/11, please dedicate some of your time and energy to:

Participate in a 9/11 commemoration event taking place in your city

Volunteer in a local homeless shelter or food pantry

Clean up a local park, highway or beach

Bring donations of food and/or toys to soup kitchens or homeless shelters

In addition to CAIR, ISNA's initiative is being endorsed by other American Islamist groups including the Muslim American Society, the Muslim Public Affairs Council and the Islamic Circle of North America.
