Former CAIR Chicago Chairman Safaa Zazour Becomes ISNA Secretary General

The Islamic Circle of North America claims to be a moderate Muslim organization and this characterization has become widely accepted. Of note, the Obama administration has reached out to ISNA despite the fact that they are were named as an unindicted co- conspirator in the U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation Hamas funding prosecution of Hamas terror funding in U.S. history.
Now new evidence has emerged suggesting that ISNA is promoting a radical Islamist ideology. They have appointed a new chairman, Safaa Zazour, who is the former board president and chairman of the Council on Islamic Relations Chicago (CAIR) a Saudi funded front group for Hamas and like ISNA, was named an unindicted co- conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial.

The FBI has recently severed their ties with CAIR citing their role in the Holy Land Foundation prosecution.
"Last autumn, FBI field offices began notifying state CAIR chapters that bureau officials could no longer meet with them until CAIR's national leadership in Washington had addressed issues raised by the HLF trial, according to people with knowledge of the notifications."

Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC) , together with several other lawmakers has called for a complete investigation of CAIR.
In a press release she declared ,
"It's frightening to think that an organization with clear-cut ties to terrorism could have a hand in influencing policy – especially national security policy – within our government," said Rep. Myrick. "The investigations that we're asking for are simple, and I'm hopeful that they will bring to light any and all information regarding the goals of CAIR." The appointment of former CAIR chairman Safaa Zazour as Secretary General of ISNA shows that there is no separation of the goals of both organizations and that ISNA shares the same radical ideology as CAIR.
As such ISNA's claims to moderation are fraudulent and the organization should be shunned by those concerned with preventing the Islamisation of America..
