Uncritical Pursuit Of Diversity Prevents Calling Hasan's Ft. Hood Attack Islamic Terrorism November 9, 2009 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - General George William Casey Jr., Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army made a completely ignorant, self-serving and ultimately indefensible statement Sunday on CNN's "State of the Nation."
"I think those concerns are real and I, and I will tell you ... that they're, they're fueled partially, at least, by the speculation about - based on anecdotal evidence that people are presenting. I think we have to be very careful with that. Our diversity not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that's worse." [source, http://voices.washingtonpost.com/44/2009/11/08/restraint_urged_in_fort_hood_s.html?wprss=44] The U.S. Armed Forces are charged with defending the national security of the United States, that is General Casey's primary responsibility. Diversity is an artificial creation, an impediment intentionally created by the left to bring about exactly what Gen Casey has apparently committed the full authority of the Army, and we must assume, the Obama administration, to enforce. Some call this political correctness, which is simply a nicer sounding term than thought control, which is what diversity is really all about. This nation is and always has been diverse, it doesn't have to be enforced in an artificial manner. America's naturally occurring diversity has always been a source of great strength. Diversity in the General's context however, creates the conditions under which the obvious can't be stated. It sets parties up who speak obvious truths as bigots. It allows the Islamist enemies of the West to label critics Islamophobes, a charge which carries considerable weight in the current state of our culture. What is painfully obvious to all who have not willingly blinded themselves to reality in this case, is that Mr. Hasan's attack at Ft. Hood was an act of Islamic terrorism. He justified his actions according to numerous press accounts, across all media, mainstream and alternative, on the basis of his interpretation of Islam. At the point which the attack commenced, Hasan shouted "Allahu Akbar" [God is great].
"Pvt. Joseph Foster...heard a shout quickly followed by a burst of gunfire...'I was sitting in about the second row back when the assailant stood up and yelled 'Allahu akbar' in Arabic and he opened fire," Foster said Monday on CNN's 'American Morning'" [source, http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/11/09/fort.hood.foster] The Arabic term "Allahu Akbar" is the traditional Muslim war cry, that is a fact and is not debatable.
There are also reports that U.S. intelligence was aware of the fact that Hasan attempted to contact al-Qaeda, the tip of the radical Muslim spear. General Casey's pathetic use of a perverse interpretation of diversity to shield the public from the truth in the Ft. Hood matter is indefensible. Unfortunately he has been joined by a host of others apparently even including Mr. Obama who seem to think that the pursuit of a linguistic contrivance created to divide and conquer, is more important than preserving the security of this country. This is exactly what the stealth jihad is all about, as outlined by the Muslim Brotherhood's master plan to subvert the West, using its freedoms and liberties against it "sabotaging its miserable house." The consequence of such action makes it nearly impossible to describe our enemies without risking being charged with bigotry. This is, of course, an intolerable state of affairs. The invocation by Gen. Casey and others of this ignorant attempt to mollify those who are doctrinally bound in their minds to pursue jihad, makes defending the West against their efforts incalculably more difficult. We therefore must consider this statement a shameful act, which if allowed to remain unchallenged will have disastrous consequences. http://www.pipelinenews.org/index.cfm?page=casey11.9.09%2Ehtm |
