Great Muslim Adventure Day rained out -Alhamdullilah thousands were attending!
October 3, 2006
The Muslim Youth and ICNA's Great Muslim Adventure Day was a wash out last month. Alhamdullilah! Ever poised to make 'lemons out of lemonade' the ICNA website presented the event as a resounding sucess, because they got a khutba by anti semitic Sheik Qadhi and free food by 'some vendors' who had to dump their wares which had been bought in anticipation of a a 15,000 strong crowd. By noon the event was called off - and ticket holders were told that no refunds were to be had - but that they could use the tickets anytime until August when infidels would also be present.

Alhamdulillah, thousands were attending!
Six Flag is closed due to weather conditions. It is with great regret that we inform you that the event had to be called off at noon due to severe weather conditions that moved into the area. An attempt was made to start the event as some rides were opened at 11 AM as scheduled, but due to low attendance and constant rain, they were closed.
We thank all who attended despite heavy rains. Alhamdulillah, the Jummah prayers were held inside the park at 1 PM. Everyone present benefited from the khutbah by Sh. Yasir Qadhi. Those attending were also treated with free food by select vendors.
Event tickets are still valid on any regular day for the rest of the season (please click here for Six Flags schedule). We are also working with Six Flags Great Adventure to reschedule the event. Insha Allah, do check back this website for updates. We regret that there is no refund for the tickets.
