Being jailed for slave holding, kidnapping, and rape in Denver when it all comes down to a misunderstanding according to him he is just being prosecuted for following the tenets of Islam and treating the woman as he would a sister.
According to Dr.Daniel Pipes;

On the contrary, he insisted that he treated the woman the same way any observant Islamic family would treat a daughter. He then went on and accused the authorities of persecuring him for being a Muslim.
Not surprisingly, Homaidan was also tied to terrorism and his Al Basheer book publishing house carri Al Homaidan's Al Basheer book company evolved from a newsletter which was started by Jamal Zarabozo, whose organisation, the Islamic Association of North America, promotes Jihad and the Islamisation of the United States by force. Not surprisingly several of IANA's bright lights are now in prison on terror related charges, such as Ali Al Tamimi, Rafiq Dhafir, and Bassem Khafagi. The Sami Al Hoseen who is mentioned in the piece below is a mispelling of Sami Al Husayen, a Saudi student who was arrested and deported.two years ago. He was the webmaster of IANA and published tracts which encouraged Muslims to fly planes into buildings.

Your honor, I am not here to apologize, for I cannot apologize for things I did not do and for crimes I did not commit. The state has criminalized these basic Muslim behaviors. Attacking traditional Muslim behaviors was the focal point of the prosecution.
Comment: Al-Turki's statement has implies that enslaving and raping a woman are Muslim practices, confirming the view that some element of Saudi society sees non-Muslims as fair game for enslavement and sexual licence. In brief, an extreme form of Shari‘a yet rules in that country.

The young man was about to obtain his doctorate degree but, unfortunately, he was caught before fulfilling his life dream! The arrest of Al-Hosaeen has nothing to do with overstaying a visa or with illegal migration documents, rather, investigations have shown that his papers were all legal but it seems that the American government is allergic to the success of our people. In fact, there is no dispute over this idea! When this Saudi student came back safe to the Kingdom, everyone thought his case was the end to the Saudi Students Suffering in the States. It is not true, for dark clouds seem to be ever hanging around!
Nowadays Saudi people are witnessing scene two of this deceiving play composed by the American JUSTICE. Because we highly respect brother Homaidan, let me not babble about the lies that have been cleverly planned by the American JUDGES. Any sane person would chuckle when reading about this case! It is so ironical and weird to see INNOCENT people suffering in the Mother of Democracy and Freedom..
We all realize that brother Homaidan is INNOCENT. He would be back home very soon because justice will prevail with the help of Allah, the All-Mighty. The American court of law should bear in mind that the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the States are ages old and that the Statue of Liberty is proudly standing on its land. It's always important to think deeply before taking any action.
After all this suffering of our Saudi people in this country, I wonder how things would be in the near future!
Among the best of essays I've read as regards this case is one for a Saudi woman in which she warns against repeating the WRONG accusations because we should not be copycats and because such repetition would lead some green people to have some suspicion, God forbid.
In fact, Saudis have no doubt about the innocence of brother Homaidan and they are eagerly waiting for his return.
I'd ask each and every Muslim who reads this essay to raise hands to the Most Merciful and pray for the INNOCENT Saudi family who've gone through too much.
Homaidan Al-Turki, his wife and kids have been wronged and because they are Saudi Citizens, our confidence that Abu Muta'b and the Crown Prince won't ever let them down is GREAT. I even can't sense their natural beauty. Friday is the weekly celebration for Muslims.
It's also a unique day because the Prophet (peace be upon him) told us that there is one hour during Friday in which all prayers would be answered. Allah, the Most Merciful, never fails any of His servants. The wish would either be granted in this life or the coming one. With a sad heart that is full of gratitude to Allah, for it knows it would have been nothing without Him, I pray to Allah to forgive my mistakes and accept my repentance.
Tears roll down my cheeks when flashes of what is taking place around me to my eyes appear! Our Muslim Nation is certainly going through a difficult labour. The pain is terrible and the outcome might not be so pleasant. Yet the mother is trying her best to give birth to her beautiful baby. They can be twins or triplets, though. While suffering in the labour room, she remembers her other kids who are striving in Somalia, frightened in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan. This is just too much to handle, thought she. The loving mother surely didn't ever forget about her lonely kid in America, Homaidan al-Turki. Also, she'd reminisce about the Muslim young men who are unjustly imprisoned and tortured in Guantanamu and Abu Gharib, to mention a few only. These are her kids too. Usually, mothers can't help forgiving their beloved. She realized that her offspring are growing selfish by time! They don't revise for exams, that is if they would ever read! Her kids even don't care about each other! Can she call them a family? Do they deserve the blessed title? Probably, her big family was shrinking, that's what she thought. Someone should face her kids with reality. It is not possible they would carry on acting this way, is it?
Once upon a time, she saw this five-year-old boy answering the call of God and calmly walking to the Mosque. Also, she knows that among her kids are youths who regard knowledge as their soul mate. Kids who always update their minds with her current affairs rather than stuffing them with the news of Hollywood celebrities! Our Muslim Nation realises that, when some of her kids feel defeated and weak, there are plenty who totally depend on the All-Mighty; who remember their suffering Muslim folks while making prostration. Her beloved kids are these who would lose no time in supporting any wronged Muslim and enlighten Humanity about the Principle of Justice in Islam. She scales the mountain and upon reaching the summit, she calls out: ' Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, HOMAIDAN, the Victory of Allah is near; my dedicated kids won't ever let you down..' ' So do not become weak, nor be sad, and you will be superior if you are indeed true believers.' (3:139)

Because of the new situation after September 11 he and other Muslims in the US are facing hardship with authorities and intolerance for any mistake which could be taken less aggressively with others,
Homidan and sarah were arrested back in November 24 because of expired Visa the same thing happened to their Indonesian housemaid whom they brought with them from Saudi Arabia, because of the kids his wife was released however he was released after he paid 25, US bond, and that time he was a rested by 3 fully armed agents one of them have pointed a fully loaded gun to his wife's head and asked her to show where he hides his gun even they know he had none, which was described by some observers as unusual way of arrests for this type of situation and their comment was it is more of security-related matter than just an immigration .
Again, in June the 2nd, 25 the couple were arrested because of new allegations this time from Arapaho County police of house maid kidnapping ,false imprisonment etc. more worse allegation that homidan sexually abused the maid which was not raised by her during the last arrest.
The heart breaking of the story is that they took the couple to jail leaving their kids alone in an inhuman way of jailing their mother specially and asking for very high bond of 15, US and the same time 4, US bond for the father, after a struggle their families back home is Saudi Arabia where able to pay the mother bond and she was released in the 14th of June after spending 12days in jail.
The couple is sure of the fabrication of these allegations and at the court they will prove their falseness.
What is more damaging is the Saudi public opinion about what's happening to their citizens in the US specially after the recent visit of the crown prince P. Abdullah to the United States in an effort to bridge the gap between the two countries, also this led the US government to sponsor 5 Saudi students to study in the US and will ease their entry according to the latest press release by the US Embassy is Saudi Arabia.
The intimidations the couple were facing for long period of time and the latest arrest and the inhuman picture this reflected on the US authority in dealing with foreigners in particular of the Muslim faith make more doubts, specially after the publication of what happened to the couple in the local media and the Saudi families start to worry about sending their children to the US despite the assurances ………

In all American movies there's a portrayal of a loving happy family and this reflects the fact that American people really appreciate the Term called Family.
A family is a word that far extends the household. When a grandmother falls ill, her grandchildren would attend upon her though she doesn't live with them in the same house. This is but a fragment of the overall meaning of FAMILY.
Family is kids' bounty, family draws a smile on their beautiful faces, family gives them hope for a beautiful shining tomorrow and family is what really differentiates between orphans and happy kids! I'm sure you do appreciate how bad it feels for a kid to lose a parent. How dark and gloomy life becomes for kids who lose someone dear to them, someone whom they adore. If it was death that took this beloved away, then hard it would be to tell the kid about reality but, naturally, this kid would manage to convince his mind that this parent went to Heavens. BUT what if a parent was ALIVE and MISSING at the very same time! What if kids realize that their disappearing parent is alive YET they are prevented from his hugs, kisses and presence!
I'm talking to you about the kids of the INNOCENT Saudi man, Homaidan al-Turki, who's being jailed in your country, though not guilty! What can compensate four girls and a boy for their father's loss, their hindered education, their internal suffering and its negative impacts on their Health, the psychological scars that the FBI engraved in their minds when they broke into their secure house and the prolonged sadness! We highly believe that Child Care is a priority for American People and that many are the associations in America that make great efforts to attain the welfare of families. Such is an awe-inspiring goal but I'm afraid that, unless principles are activated, they no more exist.
When looking at American families in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one can clearly see and sense the openness of the Saudi Community. An American woman in the Kingdom is, for example, not forced to put on the Islamic veil that any Saudi woman wears unlike what happened to the wife of INNOCENT Homaidan when she'd been obliged to sit in courtroom without putting her Headscarf on though it is yet part of her lifestyle! See, this bullying doesn't take place in the Kingdom. American families live happily in the Kingdom and Saudi people do respect their customs and lifestyle. American expatriates in the Kingdom are always granted their freedom and, as you might have already known, the Saudi Government has arrested many Saudi young people who's tried to harm Americans living in the Kingdom. Needless to say, Americans are always privileged.
The Saudi people also highly regard the concept of FAMILY as it's part of their religion. Of course, the case of INNOCENT Homaidan and the fabrications that were set against him has arisen much anger in the Saudi people as a whole; not only his family members. It's the Big Saudi Family that is feeling for him and they spare no effort to unfold reality.
Why not deal with us the same way we do towards your respected people?
Why are you crushing his kids?
If Homaidan were a non-Muslim, a non-Saudi, would all this have taken place?
I send this plea to All American families, to Fathers who adore their kids, to mothers who can't stand kids' bullying, to grandparents who can't help weeping when their grandchild twists an ankle: do angelic souls deserve to suffer when they've hardly commenced their life journey? Imagine your beloved kids' tears when you leave them for a little while, let alone for months! What if they were not allowed to see you even from behind bars! Not even a shadow of hope will dwell inside their hearts, I bet.
INNOCENT Homaidan has been arrested in November, 24. His kids suffering PLEASE stop. Protest against his Kids' Bullying and remember that Saudi people would never forget this JUSTICE. For the good of all CHILDREN, support Homaidan's kids to have their STOLEN daddy back and restore the positive image Saudis used to have about your Land of Liberty.
Mind you, Saudi people ever remain certain about Homaidan's innocence. Happy successful families deserve to be hailed; not jailed!

Allah's Might far extends all vice carried out by humans.
What was said about brother Homaidan is just WRONG, it's a lie that was well-planned by the people of Democracy.
' And Allah supports with His Victory whom He wills.' (3:13)
You should all be strong, for Allah says:
' So, do not become weak, nor be sad, and you will be superior if you are indeed true believers.' (3:139)

I've always been reading about your case for more than a year but actually all I got is from the web site because the papers would not discuss your case, though vital!
Every single time I read about the cunning fabrications, tears would come to my eyes and I mean it but these are not tears of defeat because I already memorize the Chapter of Joseph and I know that when Almighty Allah loves His slaves, He tests them. The case of Mr.Homaidan reminds me of what happened to Joseph when he was imprisoned and for NO sufficient reason!
I take you as true believers and I always pray for you all. Your father is INNOCENT and he will be back soon because liars never win.
All I can do is pray for your family leader to come back to the Kingdom as soon as possible.
May Almighty Allah deliver you from this difficult situation you've been put through, may He grant you patience, may He comfort your eyes with the return of Mr.Homaidan, Amen.
