Israeli Female Targeted in Anti-Semitic Attack in Berlin Wednesday, May 10, 2006
(IsraelNN.com) An Israeli woman was targeted in an anti-Semitic assault in Berlin last week, apparently after she was overheard speaking Hebrew.
The 26-year-old woman was speaking on her cellular telephone, prompting the attack. The attackers were Muslim females the victim told police, explaining she was kicked, beaten and they pulled her hair. They fled after they saw a police vehicle in the area.
Authorities report the victim, who holds dual Israeli and German citizenship, was heading home at about 2:00am when the assault occurred.
