February 6 2011- Militant Islam Monitor -Even the MSM is reporting that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt wants to implement shari'a law while explaining that their outwardly Western clothing and deliberately contradictory statements are aimed at misleading Westerners into believing they are a moderate force for change.
According to Giulio Meotti in Israel National News "The Muslim Brotherhood Hates Us": the new face of the Muslim Brotherhood is modern, elegant and more difficult to decipher."...Symbols often help understand the mindset of a group. That of the Brotherhood is a Koran and two sharp swords.In 2005 they published a map of the world. In the center was a green area, the color of Islam. The destabilised Egyptian government is holding talks with the MB along with other parties. Members and leaders of the MB have been released from Egyptian prisons in the past weeks after relatives raided the jails in which they were being held. In a four page Reuters article entitled "Tide turns in favor of Egypt's Brotherhood revolt" we learn that:
Many Brotherhood leaders, most of whom have been jailed for years, believe that the future is for Islam as long as they are patient, determined and resolute.
They are confident that Islam and sharia (Islamic law) will eventually rule and they are working to achieve that goal.
The Brotherhood, founded in 1928, wants democracy, except governed by the main principles of the Sharia. It had for long demanded greater political freedom, freedom of expression, free and fair elections where people of all trends are represented.
Supporters also dominate most of Egypt's main professional syndicates, have strong presence at universities and run thousands of charities providing health care and education.
