Dalia Ziada: Egyptian Influence Operative aka ‘Human Rights Activist' Calls Jihadist Kuwaiti MB Fuhrer MB Tareq Al -Suwaidan "The Wizard Of My Life"

Egyptian Ex Muslim Khaled Hassan ""In 2021, Egyptian Peace Activist Dalia Ziada Confirmed Her Role As An Egyptian Intelligence Spy"
June 29, 2026

MIM: Islam expert Dr. Andrew Bostom posed these questions to Jewish individuals and organizations like Charles Small, who heads the the Institute For The Study Of Global Antisemitism Policy (ISGAP) which is bankrolling & enabling Dalia Ziada's Egyptian Government 'Influence Operation' by making her their Washington D.C.Coordinator And Research Fellow.

https://www.hstoday.us/industry/people-on-the-move/dalia-ziada-appointed-washington-d-c-coordinator-and-research-fellow-at-isgap

He also asked Sarah Stern, the head of The Endowment For Middle East Truth (EMET) and a 'friend and fan' of Dalia Ziada if she was aware and or concerned about Ziada's jihadist ties:

"Have ANY of Dalia's fawning supporters ever asked her about this?-Dalia Ziada on Jew-hating Jihadist/Muslim Brother Tareq al-Suwaidan: "He helped me to be Dalia Ziada as I love she (sic) to be." Did she ever publicly renounce him by name & issue a formal mea culpa explaining why she supported him & why (if so) she no longer does? If she did, I can find no record of it."

"On Suwaidan going back to this period, includes his "Encyclopedia" on the Jews:

https://en.bharatpedia.org/wiki/Tareq_Al-Suwaidan

"Al-Suwaidan has also been a harsh critic of the US and the West and at conference of the Islamic Circle of North America in 2000, Al-Suwaidan said: "We must tell the West that we are extending a hand of peace now, but it will not be so for long." "Even if a civilization is ready to crumble – like the West, with all the characteristics of deterioration of past fallen empires – it will not fall until we, the Muslims, strive to give it that last push, the last straw that will break the camel's back.[30] At a meeting of the Islamic Association of Palestine in Chicago in 2000 Al-Suwiadan said "Palestine will not be liberated but through Jihad. Nothing can be achieved without sacrificing blood. The Jews will meet their end at our hands." He was subsequently banned from the US.[31] In May 2007, Al-Suwaidan was listed by U.S. federal prosecutors, along with a group of U.S. Muslim Brotherhood members, as an unindicted co-conspirator in the terrorism financing case against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development which was convicted along with its leaders of financing Hamas.[32][33]"

"Anti-Semitism is a recurring theme in the speeches of the Kuwaiti preacher , a friend of Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal. Suwaidan is also the author and editor of a 429-page "Illustrated Encyclopedia of the Jews," published in 2009 and easily available online, in which he clarifies that the battle is not only against Israel, but against all Jews who justify its existence. The acknowledgments that open the volume read: "First of all, I extend my thanks to Allah – He is the Most High – who taught us, guided us, and reminded us of the knowledge of our enemy, and warned us about the Jews and their machinations. Allah – He is the Mighty – said: 'You will see that the worst enemies are the Jews and those who associate others with Allah.' Therefore, I pray to and entrust myself to the Messenger of Allah, who faced the wickedness and perfidy of the Jews and was patient, endured, but ultimately was forced to fight them and then expelled them because he had no other option."

'In al-Suwaidan's "opus" which like late Grand Imam Tantawi reproduces the Jew-hating Nazi era fabrication "Franklin Prophecy" Both savants Tantawi and Suwaidan refer to Franklin as "President Franklin'.

Dr.Tareq Al-Suwaidan and Dalia Ziada

For those who do not know him, he is Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan from Kuwait. He is an Islamic preacher and a well-known human development trainer. He is the owner and chairman of Gulf Innovation for Training and Consulting Company. He runs a TV station named "Al-Resalah TV" which is rather Islamic. That is not all; Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan is the presenter of many TV programs dealing with both Islamic and Human Development issues.

For me, Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan is more than that. I call him the wizard of my life. He was the reason why I feel satisfied and why I enjoy success right now. Though that we have never met yet. The whole story started like this. I was in a big trouble. A seventy-something years old christian lady approached me and tried to convince me to leave my religion (Islam) and gain salvation by being christian. At the beginning I was strong enough to say no and debate with her on this issue. We used to meet daily and she was intelligent enough to attract me to her religion.

At this moment, I was about to lose control and be christian.I tried to contact many Shiekhs and preachers in my neighbourhood and my province. Most of them insulted me, while few other sympathized with me and blamed me for having low knowledge on Islam. None of them gave me true advice. None of them told me what to do to stop this lady.

On some friday cold night I was home alone watching TV. On Smarts-Way TV, I saw Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan for the first time. It was December, and the holy month of Ramadan was about to start. I liked him so much. The way he was talking affected me and made me feel safe and relaxed. So I decided to contact him. By the end of the program, this link was written: Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan (www.suwaidan.com). It was like the drop of water given to a lost man in the desert for me. I visited the website and picked his email and messaged him. He was sincere enough to reply to my emails. He helped me to deal with that woman and guided me to a bright future. He supported me for almost four month to launch my difficult and joyful path in life. He is still replying to my emails till now and he never let me down.

From here, form my own blog I would like to declare it to the world. I like this man and hope that me and him meet in paradise with our dearest beloved Prophet Mohammmad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him). Thanks God for having Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan in my life.

Now, I am the moderator of "Cultures Forum"; an English section of "Al-Suwaidan's Forum" which you may visit www.suwaidan.com/forum I also work as a remote translator for Al-Suwaidan's Gulf Innovation Company located in Kuwait. That is beside my work as a translator for a human rights organization located in Egypt (www.hrinfo.net) and the Executive Director of Softcopy Translation Center (http://targama.bravehost.com). I also translate as a volunteer for some human rights organizations and publishing houses in Egypt. He ehlped me to be Dalia Ziada as I love she to be.

Dr. Tareq Al-Suwaidan; Thank You. Yet, I have to thank Allah first. So thanks God.

In 2021, Egyptian Peace Activist Dalia Ziada Confirmed Her Role as an Egyptian Intelligence Spy

The Story of How a Self-Proclaimed Spy Became Pro-Peace Hero

KHALED HASSAN

NOV 12, 2025

In April 2021, public evidence emerged confirming that Dalia Ziada, a figure celebrated in some Western circles as a human rights and peace activist, had in fact served as an informant for the Egyptian General Intelligence Service (GIS). This confirmation was not delivered through a leak or an investigation, but through Ziada's own deliberate and public admission in response to an Egyptian state-produced television series.

The Catalyst: A State-Sanctioned Narrative

The Egyptian government released "هجمة مرتدة" (Counterattack), a spy thriller during Ramadan 2021. Presented as being "inspired by real files" from the GIS, the series portrays human rights activists and political dissidents as fronts for foreign intelligence agencies, specifically Mossad, working to destabilise Egypt. A key character, "Dina Abou Zeid," is a human rights activist who is secretly recruited by Egyptian intelligence to spy on her own sector and employer.

Public Allegation and Personal Endorsement

Widespread public speculation immediately linked the character of Dina to Dalia Ziada, noting striking parallels to her career, including her work at the Ibn Khaldun Centre and her subsequent campaign against the Muslim Brotherhood. Crucially, Ziada did not deny this allegation. Instead, she enthusiastically and publicly endorsed it.

The

The Definitive Admission

The most damning evidence comes from her response to a question about the danger of such an admission. Ziada displayed no fear of repercussion, stating:

"Danger for what? The state itself produced the TV series where they told the story?... Moreover, is it me who went publicly to tell the story? They [the intelligence agencies] are the ones who decided to tell the story."

This reasoning confirms two critical points:

  1. She acknowledged that the story of her being an intelligence asset, as depicted in the series, was true.

  2. She revealed that her public admission was safe because it was sanctioned by the very state intelligence apparatus she served. This was in 2021. Dalia continued to be platformed by intelligence-controlled platforms in Egypt until 2023, indicating that the authorities, which often silence and suppress anyone who steps out of line, gave approval to her admission.

The above documented evidence shows Dalia Ziada responding with a 'like' (thumbs up) and 'heart' emojis to Facebook posts that made severe allegations against her former employer and the wider human rights sector. Both posts remain available online as of now (20:00 on 12 November 2025).

One post explicitly labelled her former employer, a human rights activist, a "traitor". Another, authored by the Egyptian YouTuber Mohamed Nour, accused the same individual of being a Mossad agent. It further alleged that the entire human rights sector—specifically those critical of Egypt's human rights record—is composed of Mossad agents and foreign intelligence spies tasked with destroying Egypt and its interests.

This latter post is particularly egregious given its source. Mohamed Nour's channel is dedicated to antisemitic conspiracy theories and incitement. Following my own visit to Jerusalem in 2024, he accused me of being a Mossad agent and publicly called for Arab Israelis to go on a stabbing spree to "butcher as many Jews as they could".

It is therefore inconceivable that Dalia Ziada, a professed anti-radicalisation expert, would endorse such a post—characterised by undiluted antisemitism and violent incitement—with a "like" emoji. The fact that this interaction occurred as early as 2021 raises serious questions about her stated principles and alignment with such extremist rhetoric.

Conclusion

Dalia Ziada's actions and statements constitute a deliberate and layered public confirmation of her role. She moved from implicitly endorsing the narrative to explicitly confirming it, all while demonstrating that her disclosures were made under the protection and with the approval of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service. This is not an allegation; it is an admission.

Furthermore, Dalia continued to be platformed by Egyptian intelligence-owned/controlled media until as recently as May 2023.

A forthcoming report will fully detail Dalia Ziada's platforming by Egyptian state media and her attacks on entities like the US State Department and the EU in defence of Egypt's appalling human rights record—including her 2017 claim that the Trump administration was "determined to destroy any real peace" by recognising Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

She has been contacted for comment.

She has been contacted for comment.

In the meantime, these are the questions I present to you, the reader, and to Dalia:

1- Did you at any stage of your career collaborate with Egyptian intelligence/security? If the answer is no, why did you claim the opposite in 2021, and would you be willing to take a polygraph "lie detector test" in Jerusalem to clear your name?

2- Given the extensive control Egyptian authorities exercise over activists' travel (and record in banning them from leaving the country), how was Dalia Ziada able to depart unimpeded from Cairo airport in November 2023, if she was truly the target of a state-sanctioned persecution campaign?

3- Why did Ziada consistently express support for President Sisi's government and criticise entities like the US Department of State and the EU when they raised concerns about Egypt's human rights record?

4- How was Ziada granted a licence to operate a human rights organisation and allowed to function freely until 2023, issuing reports that often downplayed human rights abuses and slandered critics, in the context of Egypt's well-documented crackdown on civil society?

5- What explains her frequent platforming on Egyptian state-controlled and intelligence-linked media outlets, such as Al Ahram, DMC, and on programmes hosted by prominent pro-security figures notorious for their anti-Israel and anti-semitism?

6- Why has Ziada deleted posts and photos from her social media accounts, particularly content commemorating the perceived Egyptian victory in the 1973 war with Israel? Would Dalia be open to collaborating with a digital forensics company to investigate what content was removed from her Facebook and Twitter/X pages since she left Egypt in November 2023?

7- Why has Ziada not directly denied specific allegations that genuine human rights activists (many of whom were arrested by the authorities in Egypt) were Mossad agents and that she was recruited by Egyptian intelligence to spy on the sector, instead of confirming and responding positively to those claims in 2021?

8- Why is Ziada reportedly avoided by the majority of genuine Egyptian peace activists and independent researchers who have been residing abroad for years?

9- Why is Ziada responding positively to social media posts written by antisemites who promote the most vile antisemitic conspiracy theories against Jews

Regarding the organisations now associated with Dalia Ziada, I have one question: did you even conduct the most basic due diligence?

This would entail examining her documented associations with Egyptian intelligence, her ties to security-owned media outlets, her history of attacking President Trump for recognising Jerusalem as Israel's capital, and her consistent criticisms of those who raise concerns about Egypt's human rights record.

For context, before I was admitted to President Herzog's Kol Ha'am (Voice of the People) initiative, I underwent a security vetting by the State of Israel. Was a comparable vetting process applied to Dalia Ziada before her recruitment by Israeli and other international organisations tasked with the critical work of fighting antisemitism, Islamist radicalisation and ensuring communal safety?

It appears that, in a desperate search for visibly Muslim voices who denounce Hamas, all established professional standards were abandoned.

Stay tuned for a discussion on this over the next few days!

Update as of 23:45 on 12 November 2025: In response to the question of whether I believe Dalia is currently a spy for Egypt, I can state the following: I have no specific information suggesting she is. It is important to note, however, that in 2021, Dalia admitted that she identified with the character of an Egyptian spy who infiltrated the human rights sector at the request of Egyptian intelligence. Furthermore, we have substantial evidence showing she has been platformed for well over a decade (until the early 2020s) by individuals and media outlets with established links to Egypt's intelligence, among other corroborating indications. Further updates will follow.

MIM: Khaled Hassan, the author of the investigation into Dalia Ziada's role as an Egyptian spy is infinitely more credible than Dalia Ziada's melodramatic claims of having to flee Egypt on a moments notice due to threats against her life.

Khaled Hassan an ex Muslim from Cairo who lives in the UK is an Arabic speaker who was able to read and analyze Dalia Ziada's posts on social media and her writings in Arabic. He rightly concluded that Dalia Ziada's ubiquitous 'peace activism' and 'human rights' activities were covers for her role as an influence operative for the Egyptian government.

The regime needs to maintain a facade of 'liberalism' to receive money from the U.S. and other countries.
None of Dalia Ziada's work with 'human rights' groups and her 16 year long Muslim - Israeli dialogue' endeavors could have taken place without the approval, permission and support of the Egyptian government.

.Ziada's claim the she had to flee from Egypt due to threats against her life because she said that "Israel has a right to defend itself' doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Her bio' posted in 2025 on the website of the Institute For The Study For Global Antisemitism Policy (ISGAP) where she is the is the salaried "Washington D.C. Coordinator and Research Fellow" states that "Ziada has been active in Muslim -Jewish and Arab-Israeli dialogue for more than 16 years'.

Ziada's claim that her saying that Israel had a right to self defense after 10/7 resulted in death threats and that 'three Jewish men saved my life' and helped her flee from Egypt to America sounds more like a clichéd spy plot than reality.

Dalia Ziada Appointed Washington D.C. Coordinator and Research Fellow at ISGAP

By Matt Seldon

October 28, 2025

The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) has appointed Dalia Ziada as its new Washington D.C. Coordinator and Research Fellow, bringing two decades of international experience in governance, security, and Middle Eastern geopolitics to the organization.

Ziada shared the news on LinkedIn, noting that in her new role she will draw on her professional and academic expertise to support ISGAP's mission of informing legislators, policymakers, and the public with credible, research-based analysis. Her focus will include translating ISGAP's scholarship into actionable ideas that strengthen liberal democratic values and combat all forms of ideological radicalism.

An award-winning writer and political analyst, Ziada has built a career across Egypt, Israel, and the United States. She studied international relations at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, where she specialised in international security studies.

Over the past twenty years, Ziada has held senior roles at several leading think tanks and civil society organisations. She co-founded and chaired the Liberal Democracy Institute (LDI), served as Executive Director of the Ibn Khaldun Center for Development Studies (IKC), and was the Middle East and North Africa Regional Director for the American Islamic Congress (AIC). She also directed research at the Center for Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean Studies (MEEM) and was a Senior Research and Diplomacy Fellow at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs (JCFA). She also served as a board member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Egypt's National Council for Women (NCW).

Her long-standing involvement in fostering dialogue and countering extremism has made her a recognised advocate for liberal democracy and interfaith understanding. Ziada has been active in Muslim-Jewish and Arab-Israeli dialogue initiatives for more than 16 years and has been internationally acknowledged for her role during the Arab Spring and her outspoken opposition to Islamist extremism.

Since May 2024, she has toured American university campuses in partnership with Hillel International, delivering lectures on the shifting geopolitics of the Middle East in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks. During the 2024–2025 academic year, she visited 59 campuses across the United States.

Ziada is also an accomplished author. Her 2019 book, "The Curious Case of the Three-Legged Wolf – Egypt: Military, Islamism, and Liberal Democracy," was an international success. Her forthcoming work, "The Coalition of Odds," examines the new geopolitical landscape emerging in the Middle East amid shifting global power dynamics.
