Is there a culture of misogyny and polygamy at CAIR-Florida?

CAIR is a radical Muslim organization. The group's strong ties to Hamas and those convicted of terror-related activity attest to this fact. However, terrorism is not the only indicator of CAIR's fanaticism. Recently, following a domestic abuse scandal involving then-CAIR-Florida Executive Director Hassan Shibly, CAIR's problems regarding treatment of women were made public, and it appears these issues go well beyond Shibly. Indeed, these illicit acts may have plagued the three most prominent leaders CAIR-Florida has employed, since its inception: Shibly, Ahmed Bedier and Nezar Hamze. It is yet another reason to expose the corrupt nature of this group.
This past January, two weeks after his then-wife, Imane Sadrati, put out a video and written statement alleging she suffered domestic violence at the hands of Shibly, Shibly resigned from his position with CAIR. Sadrati stated, "[W]hen I was 9 months pregnant with my first born, my marriage became volatile and abusive. What I assumed was 'just a disagreement' turned into screams. What would have been annoying remarks suddenly became violent blows… My husband hurt me mentally, emotionally and physically behind closed doors and openly in front of my children… I need your support to put an end to domestic violence in my home!"
Since then, many more allegations have surfaced re Shibly, including that of 'secret marriages.' The woman who Shibly now refers to as "wife," Vanessa, was the product of one of these, an Islamic marriage that took place during his legal marriage to Sadrati. Former CAIR-Florida Legislative & Government Affairs Director Laila Abdelaziz said she resigned her job in part due to Shibly's sexual harassment. Ex-CAIR-Florida Communications Director Sam Bowden said she was witness to Shibly's improper behavior and labeled him a "pervert, abuser, manipulator" and "monster." Reportedly, CAIR had knowledge of Shibly's exploits but largely ignored them.
Bowden also had much to say about Shibly's predecessor at CAIR-Florida, Ahmed Bedier, who was with CAIR from November 2002 to March 2008. Bowden called Bedier a "WELL KNOWN sexual harasser." While with CAIR, Bedier became the co-host of the True Talk radio show, on NPR Tampa affiliate WMNF, which he uses to promote his radical Muslim views. Bowden claimed Bedier, in 2017/2018, was "suspended from his radio job when their board did their own investigation and LO! The dozen plus women weren't lying, and they suspended him…" And like Shibly, one of Bedier's wives, Kelly Ann Lehman, accused Bedier of "domestic violence."
Nezar Hamze was with CAIR from September 2010 until November 2018. Upon leaving CAIR, he became the Executive Director of the South Florida Muslim Federation (SoFlo Muslims), an umbrella group for South Florida's many radical Muslim entities, including CAIR. Overlapping his involvement with these groups, Hamze has as well served as a Deputy Sheriff, at the Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO). Currently, Hamze's role in the Muslim Federation has greatly diminished and he seems more focused on building a new family. But what of his old family? Does Hamze have two families? Does Hamze have two wives?
Nezar Jason Hamze was married to Jaime Lynn Trevino, in Fort Lauderdale, in December 1997. Since getting married, the two have continued to live in Broward County and together have two sons and two daughters, one of which, Sana, traded in her hijab and modest clothing for tattoos, muscles and bikinis. Sana may have been influenced by her close cousin, Nadiya Hamze, who narcissistically posts on social media sexually suggestive videos of herself in tight shorts and 'belly shirts' along with incredibly vile jokes about the September 11th attacks. Sana's hijab-wearing sister Hana refers to cousin Nadiya as "FINNEEE AF" or "fine as f**k."
In November 2016, the Hamze family attended CAIR-Florida's Annual Banquet, held in Coral Springs. A photo at the affair of Jaime and the four kids – all smiles – is found on CAIR-Florida's Facebook. Another pic from the affair contains a woman leaning up against a wall, clutching her purse and phone. She is Emina Price (nee Ramic), the Bosnian-Muslim sister of CAIR-Florida spokesperson Aida Mackic. At the time, she was married to Iowa farmer Ben Price. Today, she is pregnant in Iowa with her and Nezar Hamze's second child. Posts on Emina's Facebook page appear to show that she and Hamze knew each other, possibly even prior to the banquet.
Are Hamze and Price married? On Price's Facebook page, under the name "Emina Hamze," one can view sets of professionally taken photographs of Hamze and Price together, along with all of Price's children, in various directed poses. But where are the wedding photos? According to Polk and Dallas Counties in Iowa, there is no record in Iowa of a marriage between the two. According to Broward County, there is no record of a divorce between Nezar and Jaime Hamze. This begs the question: Did Hamze take a cue from his colleague Hassan Shibly, who refers to Hamze as "my brother for life," and have an Islamic marriage to Price, while still wed to Jaime?
There are obviously many questions surrounding the relationships of Hassan Shibly, Ahmed Bedier and Nezar Hamze, the three most prominent leaders in CAIR-Florida's short history. What there is no question about, though, is the radical nature of CAIR, itself. The group has both foundational and financial ties to Hamas, and CAIR-Florida has certainly followed in that legacy, promoting Palestinian terrorists and co-sponsoring pro-Hamas rallies. So while there are questions about the relationships of CAIR leaders and alleged misogyny and polygamy, there is no question about CAIR. The group should have been shut down long ago.
