"Prophet Muhammad Messenger Of God Delivered The Same Message" As MLK
February 5, 2019
MIM: Usama Hasan is one of the 12 members of the failed Muslim Reform Movement and has parlayed his Afghan jihad experience into a salaried role as Islamic Studies researcher at the terrorist run Quilliam Foundation as a self proclaimed expert on "radicalization". He compares Muhammad to MLK, has said that Britain was "more Islamic than the Islamic State" and calls the war in Afghanistan "legitimate jihad".
MIM: What a difference a fat salary as "ex extremist at Quilliam" and "Muslim Reform Movement member" makes! Veteran Afghan jihadist/salafist/recruiter Hasan would have infidels believe that jihad is really all sweetness and light and he refers to it as a "struggle for goodness".He presents this halal tripe with the blessings of "Your Founders of the Muslim Reform Movement" "with love"!

"(Imam Sheikh Dr) Usama Hasan is Head of Islamic Studies at Quilliam and was a founding advisor to the organisation in 2008. As a teenager Usama became a radical salafi activist and, whilst still a Cambridge undergraduate, briefly took part (1990-1) in the ‘Jihad' against Communist forces in Afghanistan. However following the 7/7 bombings in London, Usama took it upon himself to start campaigning against extremism and for religious reform within Muslim circles..."

MIM: Hasan is proud of his jihad activities in Afghanistan and described it as well as fighting in Bosnia and elsewhere "legitimate". He also falsely claims that that is where the "jihad business began" when in fact jihad has been an integral component of Islam since its inception.

"...Usama alluded to the importance of the war in Afghanistan, where he participated in what he still considers as legitimate jihad. This is where, he said, the jihad business began – where British men started to get involved in jihad abroad. After this war was won, there was a culture of heightened determination in the Muslim world, so fighters went on to Bosnia to defend Muslim ethnic cleansing, and then came Al Qaeda..."

MIM: In 2013 Usama Hasan whitewashed the Islamic State and claimed that the UK was more Islamic!
Dr. Hasan argued, based on Islamic scripture and its mainstream, normative interpretation, that an ‘Islamic state', if such a thing existed, would be a just state, respecting basic human rights, freedoms and democracy. Furthermore, it would be obliged to help provide for people's basic necessities such as food and drink, housing, education, jobs and healthcare. Dr. Hasan stated that in this sense, "Britain is far more ‘Islamic' than many so-called ‘Islamic states'."

Excerpts from:
From the Prophet to the King
1st February 2019 By Usama HasanAn Islamic Friday sermon on the universal equality of humanity: delivered on and marking Martin Luther King Jr. Day
PART 1 of the sermon
All Praise belongs to God, Lord of the Worlds. Blessings and Peace be upon the Messengers of God.
As tens of millions of people around our world marked Martin Luther King Jr. Day this week, let us be reminded and inspired by the Qur'an, a verse that may be described as a "universal Qur'anic declaration of human equality":
When Martin Luther King Jr. famously declared,
I have a dream … that one day people will be judged not by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character …
he was actually not stating anything new, except perhaps in the 1960s US context of the civil rights movement, a clear example of a blessed, social jihad, despite the US founding declaration that it was a self-evident truth that "all men are created equal." The Muslim world had possessed this teaching for over 13 centuries, for "content of character" is another way of saying "piety" or "righteousness", as in the above examples from the Book of God and the Way of His Messenger.
...In the week that many people remember Martin Luther King Jr., let us Muslims remember that Prophet Muhammad, Messenger of God, delivered the same message, but with even more depth, spirituality and heroic human spirit, and lived it out from Mecca to Medina and back to Mecca, nearly a millennium and a half ago.
