Terrorist Sami al-Arian Continues His Jihad Incitement In Turkey

Leader Of Palestinian Islamic Jihad In America Calls U.S. "Our Enemy" At Istanbul Conference On Jerusalem

Convicted U.S. Terrorist Sami al- Arian Confirms That He Is A Jihadist

February 5, 2018 - San Francisco, CA - After more than a decade of taqiyya based lies, convicted and subsequently deported terrorist Sami al-Arian turned up last week at a jihad-fest being held in the increasingly Ottoman-ized terror haven, Turkey, preaching [shock!] Islamic world revolution while calling the United States "our enemy." [see, Steven Emerson, Al-Arian Calls U.S. 'Our Enemy' At Turkish Conference , Investigative Project on Terrorism]

"Deported Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) board member Sami Al-Ariandenounced the United States as "our enemy" last Tuesday at an Istanbul conference on Jerusalem sponsored by Turkey's Directorate of Religious Affairs."

Why is this seemingly inconsequential bit of news important? Because the key takeaway is important; the global jihad's partnership of convenience with the Marxist left probably needs no better illustration than that of al-Arian, since his strategic alliance with the entirety of the leftist Deep State has been on display for a very long time.

Al-Arian was originally indicted by the Bush administration in 2003 on charges giving material aid and comfort to the terrorist organization, Palestinian Islamic Jihad [see, U.S. v Sami Al-Arian et a l, Department of Justice].

"Today, the U. S. Department of Justice is announcing the indictment of Sami Al-Arian and seven co-conspirators . Among those charged are several individuals in the leadership of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad is a U.S. government designated foreign terrorist organization, committed to suicide bombings and violent jihad activities.

As the indictment details, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad is responsible for the murder of over 100 innocent people in Israel and the Occupied Territories, including at least two young Americans, Alisa Flatow, age 20, and Shoshana Ben-Yishai, age 16. FBI agents have arrested the four defendants who are located in the United States, including the North American leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Sami Al-Arian. Searches also are underway in six locations in the Tampa area and one location in Illinois." As we wrote in 2013:

Contempt Case Against Admitted Terrorist Sami Al-Arian Dropped By Feds :

"On Friday, Federal Judge Leoni Brinkema, a Clinton appointee, dismissed the criminal contempt case against admitted Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist Sami Al-Arian.

Before his 2002 firing [ loudly protested by faculty ] Al-Arian had worked as a professor of computer engineering at the University of South Florida. Though Al-Arian initially was technically under house arrest during the appeal, the restrictions placed upon him by Brinkema were minimal, allowing him to return to the stealth jihad…"

And again in 2014:

Why Is Sami Al-Arian Strutting Around Capitol Hill?

"On Friday, Federal Judge Leoni Brinkema, a Clinton appointee, dismissed the criminal contempt case against admitted Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist Sami Al-Arian.

Before his 2002 firing [ loudly protested by faculty ] Al-Arian had worked as a professor of computer engineering at the University of South Florida. Though Al-Arian initially was technically under house arrest during the appeal, the restrictions placed upon him by Brinkema were minimal, allowing him to return to the stealth jihad."

In a 2003 statement made by the Attorney General :

"In the plea agreement, Al-Arian admits that he was associated with several organizations, including the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, in the late 1980s and early to mid-1990s. He also admits that co-defendants Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, Bashir Musa Mohammed Nafi and Mazen Al-Najjar were associated with PIJ . President Clinton issued an executive order in January 1995 which banned certain transactions with organizations and individuals who were "specially designated terrorists," including PIJ, Sheik Abd Al Aziz Awda and Fathi Shiqaqi and later, Ramadan Shallah.

Al-Arian admits that he performed services for the PIJ in 1995 and thereafter, when he was a professor at the University of South Florida and after he knew that the PIJ had been designated by President Clinton as a terrorist organization. Al-Arian also acknowledges in the plea agreement that he knew the PIJ used acts of violence as a means to achieve its objectives.Nevertheless, Al-Arian continued to assist the terrorist organization, for instance, by filing official paperwork to obtain immigration benefits for PIJ associate Bashir Nafi, and concealing the terrorist associations of various individuals associated with the PIJ. He further admits to assisting PIJ associate Mazen al-Najjar in a federal court proceeding, a proceeding in which al-Najjar and Nafi both falsely claimed under oath that they were not associated with the PIJ. Moreover, Al-Arian acknowledges that in late 1995, when Ramadan Shallah, co-conspirator and former director of Al-Arian's "think tank," the World and Islam Studies Enterprise (WISE) was named as the new Secretary General of the PIJ, Al-Arian falsely denied to the media that he knew of Shallah's association with PIJ..."

But despite this airtight case, Al-Arian was lionized by the left with the following being typical:

"{T]he American Civil Liberties Union of Florida today called on the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida to dismiss the remaining charges against Dr. Al-Arian and bring the case to a closed. Al-Arian was arrested in February 2003 and charged with conspiring with a Tampa terrorist cell, charges which Dr. Al-Arian vehemently denied. The ACLU said the government failed to prove that he provided funds or otherwise engaged in any terrorist activities…[The] ACLU of Florida Urges Government Prosecutors to Dismiss Remaining Charges Against Sami Al-Arian…" [source, ACLU of Florida Urges Government Prosecutors to Dismiss Remaining Charges Against Sami Al-Arian ]

And this from leftist news group, The Intercept :

"In 2003, Sami Al-Arian was a professor at the University of South Florida, a legal resident of the U.S. since 1975, and one of the most prominent Palestinian civil rights activists in the U.S. That year, the course of his life was altered irrevocably when he was indicted on highly controversial terrorism charges by then Attorney General John Ashcroft. These charges commenced a decade-long campaign of government persecution in which Al-Arian was systematically denied his freedom and saw his personal and professional life effectively destroyed."

Despite our solicitations from Al-Arian's mouthpieces for comments regarding Al-Arian's self-outing as a jihadist, none seemed the issue worthy of a response. So while the full weitht of the - Islamic/leftist's defense of the former Florida professor has now been demonstrated to be lies [a key component of the Cultural Marxist's ongoing campaign to destroy the West] many who do not closely follow such matters have been left with the incorrect impression represented by the jihadist meme that freedom loving nations by way of policy engage in systematic "discrimination against Muslims."

...sigh...

Few things could be further from the truth.
