MIM: The Muslim Student Associations are an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Many terrorists currently in prison or dead due to targetted killings were members or leaders of MSA's. The MSA's are being monitored because they aid and abet Islamic extremists.
"MSA's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood continue, unabated, to this day. In January 2011, for example, keynote speaker Amir Abdel Malik-Ali recited the MSA "pledge of allegiance" at the MSA West Regional Conference:
"Allah is my lord. Islam is my life. The Koran is my guide. The Sunna is my practice. Jihad is my spirit. Righteousness is my character. Paradise is my goal. I enjoin what is right. I forbid what is wrong. I will fight against oppression. And I will die to establish Islam."
That pledge is an adaptation of the Muslim Brotherhood's credo: "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope."
Since 9/11, MSA has made extensive use of the politics of victimization." http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6175
MIM: The list below showing terrorist MSA alumni is from an article by the Investigative Project.
"The NYPD has a duty to protect New York City from terrorist attacks. And MSA leaders and members have been convicted of terrorist activities and plots.
The list is extensive, but among the MSA alumni who went on to terrorist involvement are:
Anwar al-Awlaki, an influential American-born al-Qaida cleric who recruited a series of homegrown jihadists before being killed by a U.S. drone strike;
Aafia Siddiqui, convicted of attempted murder and assault on U.S. officers and employees in Afghanistan;
Zachary Chesser, convicted of attempting to provide material support to the Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab and soliciting attacks on "South Park" producers for an episode in which the prophet Muhammad was shown in a bear suit;
Jesse Morton, convicted with Chesser of threatening the South Park producers with murder;
Adam Gadahn, an al-Qaida spokesman who is on the FBI's Most Wanted List for treason and material support to al-Qaida;
Waheed Zaman, who was convicted of plotting to blow up transatlantic flights;
Adis Medunjanin, who is awaiting trial for plotting to bomb New York subways;
Ramy Zamzam, who was convicted in Pakistan of conspiring to carry out terrorist attacks;
Omar Hammami, who was indicted on charges of providing material support to al-Shabbab and is designated by the U.S. Treasury Department for his terrorist connections;
Muhammad Junaid Babar, who pled guilty to his support to al-Qaida; and
Syed Hashmi, who pled guilty to providing material support to al-Qaida.
MSA was founded in the United States in 1963 by members of the Egyptian-based Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood seeks a global Islamic state and has spawned leaders of a series of Sunni terrorist groups, including al-Qaida, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad."

MIM: Below statements of support for the MSA from among others the UPenn President Amy Gutmann and UPenn Hillel a Jewish student organisation. The MSA is attempting to portray Muslim students as victims of unfair law enforcement practices when in reality they see all their supporters as 'useful idiots' who are helping them further their efforts at stealth jihad by blocking efforts to monitor the group and prevent terrorist attacks.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your Voice | A message of solidarity We stand together in solidarity with our friends and peers who were treated unfairly due to their religious affiliation By PRISM · February 24, 2012, 12:33 am |
As people deeply invested in religious life at the University of Pennsylvania, we are concerned and saddened by the recent reports regarding the NYPD's targeted surveillance of Penn students involved with Muslim Student Association.
We stand together in solidarity with our friends and peers who were treated unfairly due to their religious affiliation.
This threatens the hard work of student leaders at Penn to create an environment that is tolerant and accepting of students from all backgrounds.
For the past 50 years, Penn's MSA has been a vibrant, meaningful and philanthropic organization that is not only a crucial partner in religious life at Penn but also an integral member of the greater university and Philadelphia communities.
The assurance of religious freedoms on campus is essential to developing a diverse, open community and was undermined. When one student's rights are threatened, we are all victims.*
