January 9, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - In an interview published today on the Muslim Brotherhood's English website, Mohamed Tosson, the Brotherhood's chief attorney and Secty General of Egypt's Bar Association, stated that the country's toppled president, Hosni Mubarak was guilty of multiple offenses which required imposing the death penalty.
"Mohammad Tosson...affirmed that all the evidence confirms beyond any doubt that the accused Hosni Mubarak did act jointly with former Interior Minister Habib El-Adli in the killing of peaceful demonstrators, and that these crimes were coupled with other offenses... to which the text of Article 234 of the Penal Code applies, under which the death penalty is appropriate in this case."
