Broward County GOP Rejects Membership Of CAIR Stooge Nezar Hamze

September 28, 2011

September 28, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - By the lopsided vote of 158-11, reflecting a commendable basic distrust of CAIR's takiyya practitioners, on Monday evening the Broward County GOP rejected an application for membership in the group by Nezar Hamze, the exec. dir. of the S. Florida chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations.

As the Miami Herald characterized the meeting, "Republicans, who changed their rules to publicly vet Nezar Hamze and then vote on his application by secret ballot, said they didn't oppose him because he was a Muslim - but because he is associated with the Center [sic] for American-Islamic Relations, whose Washington-area affiliate was an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal terrorism indictment..." [source, Broward GOP blocks Muslim activist from top committee at raucous meeting, Miami Herald Blog, http://miamiherald.typepad.com/nakedpolitics/2011/09/broward-gop-blocks-muslim-activist-from-top-committee-at-raucous-meeting.html#ixzz1ZGsVfGh9]

Florida Republicans have become accustomed to Hamze's combative antics, the most recent of which found Rep. Allan West [R-FL] revealing him to be an ill-mannered Islamist propagandist during a spirited town hall meeting.

The prospect of Islamists infiltrating the GOP remains a very real concern especially after the experience of the G.W. Bush administration which allowed Abdulahman Alamoudi [the founder of the American Muslim Council] to gain high level access to administration decision makers at a time when Alamoudi was conducting terrorist activities. Alamoudi plead guilty to terror-related charges [including involvement in a plot to assassinate the then Saudi Crown Prince - now King - Abdullah] in 2004 and remains incarcerated.

Fortunately Hamze's clownish tactics defeated him, but the prospect of Islamist infiltration of political parties - a key Muslim Brotherhood goal - is something that should be of great concern both to the public as well as political institutions.
