Fox News Targeted, ADL Conducts Hit On Civil Rights Attorney David Yerushalmi, Senator Durbin Outed As Fraud

March 29, 2011

March 29, 2011 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - Today's PQ leads noting that well funded neo-Marxists are expanding their 5 year plan [so far very successful, right guys?] to take down the 800 pound cable gorilla, Fox News.

1. As detailed in Politico, Media Matters has in a rededicated effort, "declared war on Fox News."

"..The liberal group Media Matters has quietly transformed itself in preparation for what its founder, David Brock, described in an interview as an all-out campaign of guerrilla warfare and sabotage" aimed at the Fox News Channel...The group is assembling a legal team...it has hired..experienced reporters, Joe Strupp...to dig into Fox's operation to help assemble a book on the network, due out in 2012..." [source, Media Matters' war against Fox]

We find it fascinating that one of the new team of media assassins it has hired is Joe Strupp, ex of Editor & Publisher Magazine.

At E&P, his columns often descended into the netherworld with him demonstrating a penchant for feeding on the warm entrails of the recently demised, a classic case of which was a hit piece on Ronald Reagan, just hours after the great man had passed away. He also was fond of hectoring the mainstream press to further politicize the war in Iraq, as if that were possible at a time when major U.S. newspapers carried as a gruesome body count, the number of U.S. Servicemen KIA above the fold.

So it seems that in Strupp MM is getting both what it wants and deserves.

We can't exactly imagine Murdoch, Ailes and Beck shaking in their boots, unless its from unrestrained laughter.

2. Also of note, the Anti Defamation League [ADL] has mounted a vicious attack on civil rights activist attorney David Yerushalmi, because we must assume, he has strayed from ADL's apparent belief that Shari'a presents no problem to religious liberty.

The ADL's attack is so over-the-top we are not going to quote it, but we will point out that such irresponsible behavior is not new to the group.

We culled the following from the Rocky Mountain News archives, published on March 12, 2004:

"The Quigleys have collected. The Anti-Defamation League's payment of more than $12 million for defaming them...The money went to the former Evergreen couple more than nine years after ADL officials in Colorado denounced the Quigleys as anti-Semites, based on illegally recorded secret interceptions of the Quigleys' telephone conversations..." [source, Karen Abbott, Rocky Mountain News Archives, The Quigleys have collected. note: fee based service]

So while Jewry comes under increasing attack from Islamists worldwide, ADL's response is to mount an unwarranted campaign of vilification against someone who has taken a courageous stand against the threat posed by Shari'a driven Islamic jihad.

Whether ADL's donors think this is a wise use of the organization's prestige remains to be seen.

3. The always incisive national security expert Frank Gaffney [Center for Security Policy] highlights the effort of Sen. Dick Durbin to aid American Islamists while they attempt to insinuate Shari'a into the fabric of Western culture.

"How curious. At the...moment that the threat posed to U.S. interests by the toxic Islamist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood is becoming ever more palpable, a top Senate Democrat seems determined to suppress Americans' understanding of that menace...Emerson [Steven Emerson, Investigative Project on Terrorism] explained that this perverse role is the rule rather than the exception with Sen. Durbin...He has been in bed with radical Islam for the last eight years.... He has aligned himself with the [Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas front] Council on American Islamic Relations, sent them letters of congratulations, agreed to speak to their banquets, fundraised for them, and most recently paid a visit to the Bridgeview Mosque, which...one of the largest mosques in the United States...considered the senior center of Hamas activity in the United States, led by Imam Jamal Said. [He] was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case... against the fundraisers for Hamas, all of whom were convicted. In [a] picture [taken at the mosque], which was printed in the Bridgeview Mosque newsletter online, it shows [Sen. Durbin] with eight people, six of whom are actually allied with Hamas. Five of whom have been listed as unindicted co-conspirators [in the Holy Land trial]. And four of whom have made statements calling for the killing of Jews."
