October 22- Militant Islam Monitor-A Dutch court has ordered a retrial with new judges for Freedom Party Leader Geert Wilders.
Wilders has been accused of inciting hatred against Muslims.
In an email to the AP Wilders wrote that:
"I am confident that I can only be acquitted because I have broken no law but spoke the truth and nothing but the truth and exercised my freedom of speech in an important public debate about the dangerous totalitarian ideology called Islam."
The decision to replace the judges was made after defense witness Islam expert Hans Jansen wrote on a blog that one of the people on the appeals panel had approached him at a dinner and tried to convince him that dragging Wilders into court was the correct decision.
A motion by Wilders lawyer early on in the trial to dismiss the judges due to bias had been rejected.
