August 31, 2010 - San Francisco, CA - PipeLineNews.org - In a just aired Australian television interview - recorded six weeks earlier - Geert Wilders, the leader of the Dutch Freedom Party, called Islam "backward." He said that Islam cannot be compared to Christianity and that "It is a violent ideology comparable to communism and fascism." He also reiterated his aim to establish an international anti-Islam organization. Wilders latest interview has sent Dutch officials scrambling to practice damage control fearing that because of his strong electoral showing he will be seen as a voice of the Dutch government. They are especially concerned about what he will say during his speech on 911 at the anti-Ground Zero Mosque rally, to be held in New York. So concerned is the Dutch government with the impact of Wilders that last month it issued a document for diplomats with suggested "talking points" regarding Wilders.
