Jerusalem to Host Ant-Jihad Convention in December
28 Elul 5768, 28 September 08 10:29by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu(IsraelNN.com) Dutch legislator Geert Wilders, producer of the movie Fitna exposing the Koran's incitement to violence, announced that a "Facing Jihad Conference" will take place in Jerusalem in December. "We are organizing this event in Israel to emphasize the fact that we are all in the same boat together," he said in a speech in New York.
Wilders' 15-minute film earlier this year set off violent protests in Muslim countries because of the description of the Muslim prophet Mohammed as a murderer. He is teaming up with Knesset Member Prof. Aryeh Eldad (National Union) for the Jerusalem convention, where he vowed "no racist organizations will be allowed."
Wilders said the conference will mark the beginning of an Alliance of European Patriots that "will serve as the backbone for all organizations and political parties that oppose jihad and Islamization." His speech was sponsored by the prestigious Hudson Institute, which has stated his current programs are aimed at "developing programs of political and economic reform to transform the Muslim world."
He said that "Israel is our first line of defense [but] the war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel, Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming."
Wilders warned that the Islamization of Europe leaves the United States as "the last man standing." The Dutch legislator presented statistics showing that the new European reality is one of a burgeoning Muslim population [in] ghettos controlled by religious fanatics…, and they are the building blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe… Clearly, the signal is: we rule."
The history of the Holocaust cannot be taught in many French cities because of Muslim sensitivity, Wilders stated.
He views the Muslim religion as a base for extremism. "The Koran calls for hatred, violence, submission, murder, and terrorism," he said in his speech at the Four Seasons Hotel. "Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a hereafter, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology…. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies… Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world' and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Koran.

EUROPEAN LAWMAKERS TO MEET REGARDING THREAT OF ISLAM AT DECEMBER 2008 JERUSALEM SUMMIT

ISLAMIC EXPANSION THREATENS THE VERY BASIS OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION
(JERUSALEM; 3 SEPTEMBER 2008): Israeli Member of Knesset Professor Arieh Eldad (National Union) unveiled plans today for Facing Jihad, a summit of European parliamentarians united against the threat of Islamic expansion.
The summit, to be chaired by MK Eldad at the Knesset – Israel's parliament – in Jerusalem on December 14-15, 2008, will play host to some 30 European parliamentarians from Belgium, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.K., who oppose Islamization as well as immigration policies that disrupt social cohesion.
"Facing Jihad: a Lawmakers' Summit is the first opportunity fora newly-formed coalition of parliamentarians to assist each other in fighting the transformation of the European continent into Eurabia and in safeguarding the State of Israel as a Jewish nation and a beacon of democracy and freedom in the Middle East," said MK Eldad. "Islamic expansion must be stopped. If Jerusalem capitulates, then Europe will be next."
In addition to sessions expected to be led by European Parliamentarians and internationally renowned intellectuals, MK Eldad plans to hold a screening in the Knesset of Fitna, the controversial film by Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders about the reality of Islam. Mr. Wilders will also speak at the conference.
"I look forward to screening Fitna at the Facing Jihad summit in Jerusalem," said MP Wilders. "Europeans are already contending with Islamic expansion in their own backyards, and the time has come to discuss these threats with other like-minded legislators in Europe."
Facing Jihad: a Lawmakers' Summit, (www.facingjihad.com) sponsored by the Ariel Center for Policy Research, will focus on the principle that urgent action is required to defend traditional fundamental European rights such as the liberty of individuals, the rule of law, democracy, freedom of speech and the equality of all before the law, as well as the traditional identity and sovereignty of Western nations.
