Senior Pentagon Official Apologises To Islamists In Virginia For Koran Burning In Afghanistan

March 1, 2012

On February 24th Imam Mohamed Magid, the president of the Islamic Society of North America [ISNA, a Muslim Brotherhood front group and an unindicted co conspirator in the seminal Hamas terror funding prosecution, U.S. vs. Holy Land Foundation] "hosted" an event at the radical All Dulles Area Muslim Society [ADAMS] Center, featuring Dr. Peter Lavoy, a senior Pentagon official.

Lavoy was dispatched by Team Obama for a Muslim bootlicking session in response to the inadvertent burning of several Qur'ans in Afghanistan at Bagram Air Force Base, some of which had been used by hardened Taliban fighters to transmit subversive messages. According to an account of the gathering on the ISNA website, "Assistant Secretary Lavoy apologized on behalf of the DoD to the American Muslim community and assured attendees that the Quran burnings were an unfortunate mistake...He also assured attendees that the military is investigating the incident and all troops are being retrained in the handling of religious materials."

ISNA president and ADAMS Imam Mohamed Magid said that"We are pleased with the rapid response from the DoD and the White House and with their strategies to prevent these actions from occurring in the future, adding, "This is an opportunity for us to move forward from this unfortunate incident and to build new partnerships."

Magid also delivered a sermon during the event and stated that "The people of Afghanistan have a right to be offended over the burning of the Qur'an".

Prior to the abject dhimmitude displayed by U.S. government officials at the ADAMS Center apology Department of Defense officials had met with Magid personally to discuss the Koran incident. "The event at ADAMS Center was preceded Thursday by a meeting with Imam Magid and senior members in the DoD at the Pentagon to discuss strategies to ensure the protection of sacred holy texts from intentional and unintentional destruction at the hands of the U.S. military in the future." http://www.isna.net/articles/News/Sr-Pentagon-Official-Delivers-Apology-to-Muslims-for-Quran-Burnings.aspx

The ADAMS Center mission openly calls for da'wa and states that: "Further, ADAMS is dedicated to representing the eternal truths of Islam to the broader community through positive contributions to the society at large." http://www.adamscenter.org/about-us/mission

After the 9/11 attacks Imam Magid belligerently told the media that "We cannot be apologetic about being Muslims in this country...We have a right to be Muslims" His failure to condemn the attacks on America could be because his boss and benefactor, ADAMS chairman Ahmed Tontonji is:

"... an Iraqi-born citizen of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a key target of Operation Green Quest. Totonji was also named as a defendant in a $1 trillion lawsuit filed by more than 600 relatives of people who died in the 9/11 attacks
He acted as a co-founder and officer of the Saudi-founded/Saudi-funded (and now defunct) SAAR Trust. Additionally, he served as Vice President of the Safa Group and the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT).Officials have linked the non-profit IIIT to Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda..." http://www.frontpagemag.com/articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=13748

Instead of falling all over themselves apologizing to Muslims the DOD officials at the Pentagon and Obama administration should have held Imam Magid, ISNA and the ADAMS Center accountable and demanded an apology from them to the people of the United States for the attack on the Pentagon by their co religionists.
