Jihadi Muhyydee -Ud-Din Abdul-Rahman's Father Qawi Ran For PHL Judge In 2025 After Son's Arrest For Nuclear Plot & Testing Explosives At Home

19 Y/O ISIS Bomber Wannabe Received Deliveries Of Weapons & Stashed Explosives At Parents Home Which Could Have Destroyed The Community
September 21, 2025

MIM: Why are the parents of a 19 year old convicted Black Muslim terrorist who was arrested in 2023 and held on 5 million dollars bail and a family member living nearby whose home was also searched still walking free? The fact that his lawyer father Qawi Abdul Rahman was a candidate for judge on the Municipal and Court of Common Pleas Of Philadelphia says everything anyone needs to know of the decades long corruption which has been and continues to run rampant in the city of Philadelphia. Soros DA Krasner is complicit in allowing this rot to fester and must be dismissed ASAP!

"Investigators say Abdul-Rahman used his cellphone to search for information on possible targets, which included the Pride Parade and the LGBTQ community." Other potential targets included nuclear power plants in Salem, New Jersey and Limerick, Pennsylvania; the Army-Navy Game; and many more in some 8,000 searches by the suspect.

MIM: After his then 18 year old son Muhyydee Ud- Din Abdul Rahman's arrest in 2023 Victor Fiorello, a Senior Reporter at Philadelphia Magazine recounts the threat of violence he received from Qawi Abdul Rahman. (Full article below)

"Qawi Abdul-Rahman, the father, unsuccessfully ran twice for Common Pleas Court judge, including once after his son's arrest. When reached for comment in 2023 about his son's arrest, Qawi Abdul-Rahman told us: "Text or call me one more time, and you'll find out what I'm really about."

In a press release issued by the Philadelphia 'Soros' DA Larry (Let 'em Loose) Krasner's office he stated:

"The charges we have filed against this individual represent the most serious alleged terrorist activity prosecuted in Philadelphia County court in recent history."

Krasner went on to lie to the public about the true nature of the Islamic jihad terrorist threat by declaring:

"Self-radicalization by young people via the internet is a threat to all families. Parents: Keep an eye out for violent cults that would lure in your kids under the guise of politics or religion."

"Authorities say he had a scholarship to college, but instead he wanted to move to Syria and make bombs for terrorists.

He got his passport two weeks before his arrest.

(MIM: Muhyydee -Ud Din Abdul Rahman's passport would likely have arrived at his parents address)

"They are wondering how he he became radicalized," said First Assistant DA Robert Listenbee.

"If there had been a bomb explosion in the neighborhood, his home, or in the woods, it would have had a catastrophic impact on the community," said Listenbee."

A warrant was also served at another relative's home in the 1200 block of Wallace Street.

"On August 7, 2023, FBI special agents surveilling the juvenile observed him purchasing materials that can be used to make IEDs, and recovered from his household trash materials including electric wiring that can be used to construct IEDs.

On August 8, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection provided records revealing 14 international shipments of military and tactical gear to the juvenile's address.

(MIM: His parents home in Wynnefield.Pennslyvania.)

"A warrant for the juvenile's arrest was approved on August 11, 2023. The juvenile was apprehended and two residences tied to him were searched by federal agents."

MIM: In the September 18th 2025 Press Release Soros lackey 'Imam' Larry Krasner declared that jihadi wannabe Black Muslim Muhyyee-Ud-Din Abdul Rahman had "a twisted ideology…and in no way represents the overwhelming majority of people of faith, including the Muslim community."

MIM: Soros DA Larry Krasner covers for his Muslim voters and brazenly declares 'nothing Islamic or jihadist to see here folks -plans to blow up nuclear plants can be motivated by any 'distorted ideologyy' move on'.

MIM: The background, origin and meaning of the name Muhydeen speaks for itself.

The name Muhydeen, also spelled Muhiuddin or similar variations, is a masculine name of Arabic origin. It is derived from the Arabic words "Muhyi" (محيي), meaning "reviver" or "giver of life," and "al-Din" (الدين), meaning "the religion" or "the faith." Therefore, Muhydeen translates to "Reviver of the Faith" or "Giver of Life to the Religion." It signifies someone who strengthens, revitalizes, or defends the Islamic faith. Associated names include Mohi, Deen, and Eddin.https://www.wisdomlib.org/names/muhydeen

AI "In Arabic, the name Qawi (Arabic: قَوِيّ) means "strong," "powerful," or "firm". It is a masculine name and is also one of the names of Allah in Islam, Al-Qawiyy, signifying supreme and inexhaustible strength."

'Imam' & PA DA Larry Krasner in 2023:

"Investigators with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force were able to connect a Meta (aka Instagram) social media account that communicated with an account affiliated with KTJ in March and April of 2023 to the juvenile.

A WhatsApp account linked to the juvenile's phone number was also found by investigators to have a banner of Riyad-us-Saliheen Martyrs' Brigade, a Chechnya-based terrorist group, as its profile photo. On August 6, according to the Task Force, the juvenile's WhatsApp profile photo was changed to the image of the ISIS banner.

District Attorney Krasner added, "Self-radicalization by young people via the internet is a threat to all families. Parents: Keep an eye out for violent cults that would lure in your kids under the guise of politics or religion."

MIM:Fast forward to September 18,2025. The case which DA Larry Krasner described as' the biggest terrorism prosecution in Philadelphia County's recent history." After Muhayydee Ud- Din arrest in 2023 there was a 'news blackout' about the case until the conviction in September 2025.

"We are grateful for the work of Assistant District Attorney Christopher Angelo, Supervisor of our Juvenile Unit, along with our justice partners, for collaborating on this investigation which likely prevented a horrific tragedy," said District Attorney Larry Krasner.

"I also want to take this opportunity to denounce this defendant's twisted ideology, which in no way represents the overwhelming majority of peaceful people of faith, including the Muslim community. I hope Philadelphians join me in condemning hatred, bigotry, and violent political views in all of their forms."

Philadelphia Jury Convicts 19-Year-Old Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman for Attempted Production of Weapons of Mass Destruction, Related Terror Charges

September 17, 2025

PHILADELPHIA (September 17, 2025)—Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and First Assistant Robert Listenbee announced on Wednesday that Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman (DOB 3/15/06) was convicted by a Philadelphia jury of terrorism-related charges for his role in the attempted production of weapons of mass destruction and possession of explosive materials.

Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman was found guilty of:

The investigation into Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman's activities began in 2023, when the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Joint Terrorism Task Force discovered that the defendant was in frequent communication through social media with a Syrian terror group called Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad, or KTJ. As federal investigators began scrutinizing the defendant's activities more closely, they observed the defendant purchasing tactical gear and bomb-making ingredients and testing homemade explosives near his family's residence in the city's Wynnefield section. On one occasion, the defendant also tested a highly unstable and dangerous explosive mixture called TATP, also known as "the Mother of Satan."

Federal investigators also uncovered evidence of the defendant's intention to attack a variety of possible targets, including the Philadelphia Pride Parade and other local parade routes, Lincoln University, the Army Navy Football game, the Valley Forge Military Academy, nuclear power plants in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and more.

He was arrested on August 11, 2023 and later held on five million dollars bail while awaiting trial.

"This defendant posed a serious threat to his community, the city at-large, other jurisdictions, and even overseas locations," said District Attorney Krasner. "I want to thank First Assistant Robert Listenbee, who personally tried this case, and Assistant District Attorney Christopher Angelo, Supervisor of the DAO's Juvenile Unit, for the successful prosecution of this matter. I also thank the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force for their detailed and thorough investigation. I am also grateful to the jury for holding this defendant appropriately accountable for his actions, which could have resulted in unimaginable tragedy if left unchecked."

"Protecting the United States from terrorist attacks remains our top priority," said Wayne A. Jacobs, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Philadelphia Field Office. "The swift and thorough coordination of law enforcement throughout this investigation disrupted a significant threat. Moments like this highlight the strength of our law enforcement partnerships and our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our communities. It is a privilege to serve alongside our partners at the Philadelphia Police Department, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, the Pennsylvania State Police, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and I want to thank the men and woman of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force for their continued service to our country and their vital role in protecting our city."

Philadelphia District Attorney's Office to Prosecute 18-Year-Old Terror Suspect as Adult

September 18, 2024

PHILADELPHIA (September 18, 2024) — The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday that it will prosecute Muhyyee-Ud-Din Abdul-Rahman (DOB 3/15/06) of West Philadelphia as an adult, due to overwhelming evidence collected during an extensive law enforcement investigation indicating that he intended to cause a mass casualty event. Following an extensive court hearing, over several days, the Commonwealth argued in its brief to the court that "the public's interest would be served and that the defendant was not amenable to treatment, supervision, or rehabilitation as a juvenile" and that his case should be transferred to the adult justice system. Philadelphia Family Court concurred on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Rahman is currently charged with Attempt to Commit Weapons of Mass Destruction (F2); Criminal Conspiracy (F2); Arson (F3); Causing or Risking Catastrophe (F3); Attempt to Commit Criminal Mischief (F3); Possession of an Instrument of Crime (M1); Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2).

Law enforcement began investigating Rahman after they received electronic communications between the defendant and terrorist organizations in Syria. These communications indicated that Rahman wanted to become a bombmaker for these groups, identified as Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad (KTJ) and Hay'at Tahrir al Sham (HTS). KTJ is officially designated by the U.S. State Department as a global terrorist organization and is affiliated with Al-Qaeda.

As the investigation continued with assistance from various law enforcement agencies, agents uncovered evidence that the defendant was also gathering materials including muriatic acid, potassium nitrate, and fertilizer, to construct explosives at his parents' residence. Investigators also believe he tested such explosives a minimum of 12 times. During this time he was also purchasing tactical combat gear, including a chest rig that can store multiple AK-47 magazines. The defendant also attempted to create Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP), also called 'The Mother of Satan', which is considered an extremely potent and unstable type of explosive that even bomb technicians are prohibited from producing for testing purposes.

Rahman was arrested in August 2023. After being Mirandized, the defendant was interviewed at length by law enforcement, in which he admitted his intent to assist terrorists overseas as a bombmaker. Agents subsequently conducted cell phone analysis after the defendant gave investigators access to two devices. Internet search histories indicated that Rahman was interested in the dates and times of local parades, including the Philadelphia Pride Parade. Investigators also discovered evidence of his hatred for the LGBTQ+ community. Additional evidence indicated his interest in potentially targeting critical infrastructure throughout the region, including power plants and domestic military bases.

"Our office intends to prosecute this defendant to the fullest extent," said First Assitant Robert Listenbee. "This investigation remains ongoing, and the Krasner administration will continue to work with our federal and local law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of all Philadelphians."

Teen Arrested in Federal Terrorism Probe to be Prosecuted by Philly DA

August 14, 2023

PHILADELPHIA (August 14, 2023) – Leaders from city and federal law enforcement on Monday announced that a 17-year-old resident of West Philadelphia has been arrested and charged as part of a federal terrorism investigation.

The juvenile was taken into custody by FBI SWAT officers at his residence in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia on Friday, August 11. An investigation led by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, which includes detectives detailed from the Philadelphia Police Department, is active and ongoing.

The District Attorney's Office has charged the juvenile with Weapons of Mass Destruction, Criminal Conspiracy, Arson, Causing/Risking Catastrophe, Attempt to Commit Criminal Mischief, Possession of an Instrument of Crime, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

"The work of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force potentially thwarted a catastrophic terrorist attack in the name of a perverted ideology that in no way, shape, or form represents the beliefs of the overwhelming majority of peace-seeking people of faith, including Muslims," District Attorney Larry Krasner said. "The charges we have filed against this individual represent the most serious alleged terrorist activity prosecuted in Philadelphia County court in recent history. We intend to pursue full accountability for these crimes and will continue to work vigilantly with our law enforcement partners to protect all of our communities from hateful, ideologically driven acts of violence."

"Protecting the United States from terrorist attacks is the FBI's number one priority," FBI Special Agent in Charge Jacqueline Maguire said, "and I think it's very fair to say that lives were saved because of this investigation. Investigations like this one – with the amazing work that continues and the successful mitigation of such a significant threat – are exactly why we do what we do, and yet another reminder of what a privilege it is to serve with such dedicated colleagues. I'm so proud of my team for their incredible work on this case, and thankful to our partners for their significant and continued assistance.

"The juvenile is alleged to have been in contact with individuals and groups designated by the U.S. State Department as global terrorists, including Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad ("KTJ"), which is believed to primarily operate in Syria and is responsible for attacks including the deadly April 2017 attack on the St. Petersburg, Russia, metro and the 2016 suicide car bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Investigators with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force were able to connect a Meta (aka Instagram) social media account that communicated with an account affiliated with KTJ in March and April of 2023 to the juvenile.

Parents: Keep an eye out for violent cults that would lure in your kids under the guise of politics or religion.

"The juvenile is further alleged to have received messages related to construction of improvised explosive devises (IEDs) and to have purchased materials online such as chemical cleaners that are used to construct IEDs, as well as outdoor or tactical gear.

On August 7, 2023, FBI special agents surveilling the juvenile observed him purchasing materials that can be used to make IEDs, and recovered from his household trash materials including electric wiring that can be used to construct IEDs.

On August 8, 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection provided records revealing 14 international shipments of military and tactical gear to the juvenile's address.

A warrant for the juvenile's arrest was approved on August 11, 2023. The juvenile was apprehended and two residences tied to him were searched by federal agents.

If the juvenile's case is transferred by a judge to adult criminal court, more information related to the allegations against him will be available to the public.

Philly Lawyer's Teen Son Convicted In Terrorism Case

More than two years after the FBI raided the West Philadelphia home of Philadelphia lawyer Qawi Abdul-Rahman, a Philadelphia jury has convicted his 19-year-old son Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman in a terrorism case.

On Wednesday, the jury found the son guilty of three felonies — attempted possession of a weapon of mass destruction, possession of explosives or incendiary materials, and risking catastrophe — and recklessly endangering another person, a misdemeanor.

The investigation into Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman started in March 2023 when the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force found social media communications between the son, who was then 17 years old, and the Syrian-based terrorist group Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad. On August 6th, he changed his WhatsApp profile photo to an image of the ISIS banner.

After his arrest in 2023, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said that an FBI surveillance team observed Muhyyee-Ud-din Abdul-Rahman purchasing tactical gear and items needed to build IEDs, and then U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed to the FBI that more than a dozen international shipments of military and tactical gear had been sent to the family home.

Muhyyee-Ud-Din Abdul-Rahman's potential targets allegedly included the Philadelphia Pride Parade, Valley Forge Military Academy, nearby nuclear power plants, and the Army-Navy football game.

"The work of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force potentially thwarted a catastrophic terrorist attack in the name of a perverted ideology that in no way, shape, or form represents the beliefs of the overwhelming majority of peace-seeking people of faith, including Muslims," Krasner said in a statement just after the arrest, going on to describe the charges as "the most serious alleged terrorist activity prosecuted" in Philadelphia in recent history.

Sentencing has yet to be scheduled. The defendant remains in custody at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia. The next hearing is scheduled for September 29th.

Qawi Abdul-Rahman, the father, unsuccessfully ran twice for Common Pleas Court judge, including once after his son's arrest. When reached for comment in 2023 about his son's arrest, Qawi Abdul-Rahman told us: "Text or call me one more time, and you'll find out what I'm really about."

Teen Terror Suspect Lived in Home of Philly Lawyer Who Just Ran for Judge

"You wanna find out what I'm really about?" attorney Qawi Abdul-Rahman said when we asked him about the arrest. "Text or call me one more time, and you'll find out what I'm really about."

By Victor Fiorello

8/14/2023, 5:06 p.m.

On Monday, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and the FBI announced that police arrested a 17-year-old from West Philadelphia on Friday, charging him with crimes stemming from a terrorism investigation. I had been aware of the arrest since right after it happened, because I encountered major roadblocks around the 17-year-old's house when I happened to be out running errands in his neighborhood. The FBI spent hours searching the property, removing box after box of evidence.

The home in question is the residence of Qawi Abdul-Rahman, a Center City criminal defense attorney who ran for Common Pleas Court judge this year but lost. When I reached him by phone on Sunday, Abdul-Rahman said he had no comment about the search of his home because it was an "open matter."

By that time, says Philadelphia attorney Michael Coard, who isn't involved in the case, word of the arrest had already circulated among the local legal community.

"I first heard on Saturday at an event where a few dozen judges and lawyers were present," Coard tells me.

Prosecutors haven't released the name of the terrorism suspect. As Krasner stated at the Monday press conference, it's the policy of the DA's office to withhold the names of any juveniles charged as such. But he's now seeking to charge the juvenile as an adult, in which case his name would become a matter of public record.

Several sources have alleged that the person arrested is the son of Abdul-Rahman. On Monday, just after the press conference, I asked Abdul-Rahman via text if the person arrested is, indeed, his son. He called me right away. "You wanna find out what I'm really about?" he told me. "Text or call me one more time, and you'll find out what I'm really about."

Krasner has charged the juvenile with weapons of mass destruction offenses, criminal conspiracy, arson, causing or risking catastrophe, attempt to commit criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime, and recklessly endangering another person.

The investigation began in March, when the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force allegedly found communications between the Syrian-based terrorist group Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad and the juvenile on Instagram. On August 6th, claim prosecutors, he changed his WhatsApp profile photo to an image of the ISIS banner. Krasner's office says the juvenile received messages telling him how to build IEDs and that on August 7th, an FBI surveillance team observed him buying some of the items needed to build IEDs, along with tactical gear. The next day, U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed to the FBI that more than a dozen international shipments of military and tactical gear had been sent to the juvenile's home.
