Head Of AMANA Dawah Organization Is Holocaust Denier - Blames Jews For 9/11

ISLAMIST ‘CRIME STOPPER' SOFIAN ZAKKOUT'S HOLOCAUST ASSAULT
On March 4th, South Florida Muslim leader and board member of Crime Stoppers and Citizens' Crime Watch, Sofian Zakkout, posed the following query on Twitter: "Please can someone tell how many Holocaust survivors!" The exact intent of Zakkout in asking this barely-intelligible question is unknown, as he does not provide any context for it, during, before or after it. But if one views what Zakkout has posted about the Holocaust in the recent past and his views on Jews in general, one can conclude that Zakkout's intent is nothing but sinister.
Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout is the President of the American Muslim Association of North America (AMANA), a radical Muslim group that was once condemned by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for posting what the ADL called a "venomous" anti-Semitic and anti-Israel David Duke video onto its official AMANA website. He is a fervent supporter of the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas, once writing in Arabic, "Hamas is in my heart and on top of my head." In April, he tweeted, "Occupation is occupation and israel doesn't exist!"
While criticism of Israel should never be considered prohibited speech, when Zakkout targets Israel, very often it will take on the form of a virulent attack against Jews. In July 2014, following a pro-Hamas rally he organized, where his attendees repeatedly chanted "We are Hamas" and "Let's go Hamas," Zakkout wrote, above photos from the event: "Thank God, every day we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel!" In December 2015, above a photo he had posted of decorated Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, Zakkout wrote, "You're a Jew, the grandson of a monkey and a pig."
In February 2016, Zakkout circulated on social media a report claiming that "the Holocaust was faked." It begins: "The alleged ‘Holocaust' of ‘6 million Jews' at the hands of Adolf Hitler and National Socialist Germany during WWII is the biggest lie ever foisted upon humanity." It was produced by The Realist Report, an anti-Jew, anti-black, anti-gay independent media outlet, which describes Hitler as "the greatest leader in modern Western history."
Concerning the report, Zakkout posted the following statement: "100% pure, unadulterated truth, all on one comprehensive page. Hard to argue with this. After all, you can't deny something if it never happened, can you?" The report is still found on Zakkout's Facebook.
In April 2016, Zakkout posted a report on Facebook pushing the hoax of Jewish involvement in the September 11 attacks. The report begins, "It ain't debatable! Soup to nuts, top to bottom, the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington D.C. were an ‘Israeli'-Jewish job." In June 2016, Zakkout clicked ‘like' under a Facebook posting of a cartoon portraying a worried-looking Orthodox Jew hiding behind a tree with the tree calling out to a bearded man wielding a rifle, saying "Oh Muslim! Oh Muslim! There is a Jew behind me. Come and kill him." In July 2017, he posted a video of Louis Farrakhan repeatedly calling Jews "Satan." In November 2017, he posted a video with a message in Arabic saying, "Spread the video to beat the fucking Jews."
As offensive as all of this sounds – and even threatening to Jews and the community – none of it has mattered to the anti-crime outfits Crime Stoppers and Citizens' Crime Watch. Despite the enormous amount of evidence provided to them by this author, they have ignored it all. They have put their reputations and integrity on the line and continue to allow Zakkout to serve on their boards and have his name listed under their corporations. Law enforcement officials, politicians, lawyers, educators and other key members of society happily sit on these boards with him, while remaining silent about his activities and cowering at the thought of removing him.
Indeed, Juan Perez, the Director of the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), is the Vice President of the Citizens' Crime Watch Executive Committee. And yes, Zakkout also sits on the committee. It is as baffling as it is alarming.
On top of this, Zakkout rubs it in their face, using the same social media he curses Jews with to crow about his involvement in the groups. Last month, he posted a flyer onto Facebook with the Crime Stoppers logo over the AMANA logo, along with the slogan, "Together we do make a difference!" In March, he wrote, "Just a reminder! Sofian Zakkout, an executive board member at the Miami Dade county Crime Stoppers." And in October 2018, he ended a post with "Sofian Zakkout, the Director of AMANA, the American Muslim Association of North America & Board of Directors of the Miami-dade Crime Stoppers and the Crime Watch of Miami-Dade county."
By not doing anything about Zakkout, Crime Stoppers and Citizens' Crime Watch are aligning themselves with him and his actions and actively aiding and abetting his anti-Semitism, support of terror, and incitement to violence.
Zakkout promotes the twisted idea that the Holocaust was a hoax. He posts that Jews were behind the 9/11 attacks. Given the fact that these anti-crime groups have not confronted Zakkout, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that they share his extremist views.
