Excerpt from article on MIM with information on the WWP group.

  • MIM: The conference featured the "Women Wage Peace' Group who work together with a group funded by the PA terror entity Fatah and Fatah Youth.Below is an excerpt from the article "We Cannot Count On Men To Make Peace- We Have To Do It Ourselves" which describes a WWP march in October 2016 which included a Fatah funded female contingent and a speaker from the PLO terrorist group.

  • "...According to Ziad Darwish, a member of the Palestinian Committee for Interaction with the Israeli Society, which operates under the auspices of the Fatah party, the Palestinian women received political and financial support from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and the Authority itself, which paid for the chartered buses, water and hats with a dove logo that the women wore, many over their hijabs...

  • "...The atmosphere was celebratory almost heady despite the searing heat as a women's drumming group set the rhythm. When the Palestinian women came off the buses, many were embraced by Israeli women; others formed impromptu dance circles..."

"...Hind Khoury, an economist who has served as the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the Palestinian Authority and was the delegate general of the Palestinian Liberation Organization to France from 2006 until 2010, also challenged the crowd..."

MK Glick explains participation in 'Women Wage Peace' march

Likud MK responds to criticism by right-wing colleagues over participation in event by organization calling for end of conflict.

MK Yehuda Glick (Likud) explained spoke with Arutz Sheva about the criticisms hurled at him over his participation in a march by the Women Wage Peace organization in Sderot Sunday.

MK Glick said that he has faced criticism from colleagues whose opinions he values, but he remains content with his decision to participate in the march. He believes that those who criticize him do not understand the organization's work.

"Anyone who meets with 'Women Make Peace' cannot help but be impressed by the positive and non-inflammatory discourse that they hold at a time when there is no terror wave on the streets. They turn the term 'peace' into something tangible. What happens today, sadly, is that everyone sits only with themselves, and anyone [who doesn't share their political opinions] are monstrous. Unfortunately,we had a lot of hatred during this past year, and I say, let's meet and talk. We talk a lot about peace. We pray for peace, which is wonderful. But we cannot underestimate the need to change the discourse," Glick said.

Arutz Sheva asked MK Glick if he was not making life difficult for himself when he talks about changing the political discourse and listens to those who to not share his support for the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria and for Jewish prayer rights on the Temple Mount, issues which could have prevented him from being allowed to participate in the march Sunday.

"My positions are deeply embedded in the ideology of the Likud, and these women know that. I tell them at every meeting that I am a man of peace and that includes sovereignty throughout Judea and Samaria, massive construction throughout Judea and Samaria and Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount. If you want to see peace, come with me to the Barkan industrial zone and the shopping centers. Go to Sha'ar Binyamin or Gush Etzion, and you will see that peace exists and Jews and Palestinians live together. I do not cover that up."

Last year, a representative of Women Wage Peace told Arutz Sheva that the movement did not identify with the left or the right. However, when asked if the movement was open to the idea that sovereignty would lead to peace, she said that such ideas were 'out of bounds' because they were 'irrational.' MK Glick was asked if this response shows that the movement is in fact political as it rejects certain plans to achieve peace out of hand while supporting others

Glick said that the spokesperson's response was her own personal opinion and did not necessarily reflect the views of the organization as a whole.

"They are asking that there be a discussion on the subject of peace, because they feel a sense of indifference and [that people think] that the Palestinians might disappear and the conflict will disappear. They call for dialogue. There is no simple solution. All solutions have problems that need to be discussed. I would participate in the event. They would say that peace belongs to the left and I will not accept it," he said. "It's true that a significant part of their activities are carried out by left-wing women, but I say: let's not just leave it on the left. Let's take part. And they know that's my opinion. I say that peace includes massive sovereignty and construction in Judea and Samaria and they applaud my statements."

MIM: This is not the first time that Yehuda Glick has functioned as a 'useful idiot' for Muslims and left wing Jews. After nearly dying from an attempted terrorist execution he attended an event in Istanbul in 2015 hosted by anti semite conspiracy theorist Adnan Oktar aka Harun Yahya and 1,000 Muslim clerics!

MIM:" It appalling that Yehuda Glick was duped by Islamist Adnan Oktar aka Harun Yahya into behaving like a "useful idiot" and attending this choreographed event. Even more appalling and revealing of their Islamist mindset is that he was told by the clerics that the bullets which nearly ended his life "injured Islam more than him".
